Someone probably knows this better than me, but im guessing it depends on what kind of volatility you are looking for.
Royal mint is alot more volatile than bonanza, and you can go the whole collection process only seeing 1-2 bonuses that pays nothing (or close to nothing)
Same for the "enhanced" bonus. No guarantee whatsoever it will deliver any sort of good bonus.

A good comparison would be Doa1&Doa2, same kind of game but vastly different in how volatile they are.

Last night Bonanza loaded without the music for the first few spins. It was brilliant - there's so many sound effects going on that you don't usually hear. It's MUCH better. Then the music kicked in and ruined it.
