Give Snorky a PM and see if he’ll cut you in on his clue.

Tbf I think we’ve all gone through horrific times on bonanza. Lasting for thousands of spins but eventually the compensation will kick in. Then you will start to be friends again.

The problem is tho, well at least if ur anything like me anyway, when you drift over to other games, you can play them for a while but you just end up loading bonanza back up!!

Some of those other slots just don’t hold the interest IMO. I do play lots of other games but some of them are just so brutal on the balance even on low stakes it’s hard to get a good session out of them.

While bonanza may not produce the silly hits that some of these others do it’s fairly (most of the time) easy on the balance.

Trust me it’s easy to wax off a couple of hundred on games like primal and Jammin in surprisingly quick time even on just 40p!!

Ive done that amount on bonanza also even without hitting a feature but i at least got a bit of playtime!!

And for some reason bonanza is still very capable of making you think u can hit big on it!! Despite the fact there are barely any 1000x screenshots in this thread each quarter!!

Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty here. All slots are rigged to some degree, they simply have to be. Whether that’s “in your face” or subtle may vary.

If you take a megaways game for example there would be literally millions of permutations possible in the bonus rounds judging by all the different symbols we see.

If the reel stop positions were totally random you would need to play billions of spins to expect to hit the rtp. Then you have the chance of a retrigger which means there are potentially another few million outcomes that we are lead to believe could happen.

This tells you that the graphics are just eye candy (brilliantly done though I may add). Take the 117,649 ways for instance. I have had a few hits where I have had 6 aces on reel 3 only for the cascade to produce another 6 aces on the drop. Something that tells you the cascades are not genuine reel sets, they are simply performing a display that stops when the predetermined amount that was decided when you pressed spin, has been achieved.

How many times have you had a spin with a relatively small amount of ways, with a little 3oak win and only one or two outs, only to find that miraculously you hit every symbol you need and have 6 or 7 consecutive little wins. The true odds of that happening if it was random would be next to impossible.

As far as I am concerned no game will be totally random as in the true sense of the word. I also believe the outcome of a spin is not just simply done by weighting either.

We can use Bonanza as example for sure but don’t kid yourself any other slot is different. Bonanza gets highlighted because it has far more exposure than most other slots by some distance. Name virtually any other slot you care to mention, play it as much as you have played Bonanza and I virtually guarantee your overall results will be a lot worse.

BTG come in for a lot of stick, yet I have played games by a lot of other providers and tbh, they don’t even come close to producing the same results long term. Invest the same amount of time and money into most other providers games and you’ll be squealing like a piggy, I guarantee it!

There is something seriously a miss with bonanza

We’ve all thought the same at some point.

Even Snorky will admit he was bleating about bad the game had become.

Now look at him!! Features galore, no moaning at the moment is there!!

We all rate the game by the luck we have on it!!

However I can confirm that Reel King Megaways is the complete exception.

That is one giant turd of a game. If it makes RTP I’ll eat my hat.

I had a bash of that the day it came out filth filth and more filth

I’ve had a couple of usual (terrible) bonuses on the beast as of late and dare I say it another game provider keeps dragging me out of the bonanza shit, it used to always be my last game of the session now it’s a hundred spins at the start of a session coz the the twat does not compensate me at all these days

If all slots are compensated to reach their rtp, wouldnt all slots with a higher rtp than bonanza produce better results long-term?

Unfortunately, a higher RTP don't mean better results, that would be all down to the profile / volatility. Like I have said before bonanza isn't the HV beast people make out it to be and you need to remember that when playing it.

As for compensated games even if they were, again higher RTP wouldn't always mean better results either it would all boil down to how its done and the parameters at play.
