I have never heard of such a thing.

I am not really sure why you would want one.

Unlike at betfair, you rarely have an edge playing blackjack (actually there are a couple of exceptions: Cryptologic single deck blackjack with comp points, Chartwell multihand single deck blackjack (I think this is positive expectation with correct play) and Boss single deck blackjack).

But most casinos ban robot play anyway

Of course all microgaming viper casinos have 'autoplay'

Correct me if I'm wrong, but bots are useless in negative expectation play (where the house has an edge over you).

Unless you are playing with a bonus of course.

Why would people want a bot to play for them. I dont think the bot is smart enough for you to win. Unless the bot some how knows the dealers number, but other wise it's useless. Also for playing poker it useless I wish someone use a bot playing me at poker. I dont see what all the fuse is about saying that the bot is smart and could make you win big.

Actually...if you look at, for example, University Of Alberta's Pokibot made for poker...you really can't say it's stupid :)

Only one

I have only heard of one bot for Blackjack, and it only works on 2 casinos.
Other than for bonus abuse, bots do have a use in wager tournaments at casinos without autoplay.
I am sure the casinos look out for bot playing patterns as opposed to a player playing from a strategy chart.
A bot will play solidly for many hours, plays each hand at roughly the same speed, doesn't take bathroom breaks or coffee breaks, will not make one single mistake... If they audit the account they should spot this, and you will not get the money.
I expect more will be developed though, and this will lead to impossible bonus terms for normal players.

It is about $50, and it is up to you to find it!

i think i know the bot your on about, would it be the 888 & reef club bot ?

if it is i would keep away from this company, there has been a lot of complaints about them.

also they have a habit of not keeping peoples details confidential, for example they sent me a list of the email addresses of their clients, which isn't a particularly smart move as i'm ex industry and still have many friends in it.

just a reminder to everyone to keep away from these bots, its seems the guy who is selling them has just gone on new spamming campaign which is inevitably followed by the complaints heres a typical one

"Hi there,

Would someone please help me to put a stop to this crook? He's already
ripped off everyone on this list, his own customer list indeed, and then
he's been foolish enough to publish all of our addresses to a general list.

If you're in the UK I'll be happy to provide you with the details of the
Trading Standards Dept who are currently dealing with him.

Thanks,

Lesley

PS - his most recent "sucker-pulling" email is right at the bottom of this
message."

and as mentioned in the email above, this guy has a habit publishing your email details, so even if this guy wasn't rippping people off and has delivered what he says he does , it would be pointless anyway as your details would be passed onto the casino operators anyway.
