I don't remember where I originally saw the offer for Golden Spur's $50 no deposit bonus but thought I would check things out before signing up. I googled their name and came across an old CM newsletter which listed Golden Spur under the "Cool Casinos" category (https://www.casinomeister.com/static/news/june2004.html), and they're not on the rogue list so I figured they must be okay.
So I signed up and received the $50 no deposit bonus with 40x playthrough, the only excluded games are Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Sic Bo and War. That's fine, since Video Poker is my new obsession.
At $1/hand bets with perfect play on their full-pay 4-Hand Jacks or Better, I busted after about 4x playthrough...??
Tonight I logged on to play in "fun" mode, and I have discovered why their poker doesn't pay as much as it should: they are recycling discards too. Don't you just love proprietary software?
Screenshots are attached. The Queen of Spades in the decision hand appears again in the third hand. (I was intentionally discarding everything because it was fake-money mode and I wanted to catch them in the act.)
