we've all seen a solar eclipse, right? ever think about eclipses occurring elsewhere in space? this was taken by one of our space probes, and it is what you would see if you were in a spaceship in the vicinity or on one of saturn's moons during an eclipse.
the little speck just above and to the left of the "brighter" (actually fainter in normal light) rings is none other than our very own planet earth, millions of miles away. crazy. this is the coolest picture i've ever seen.
EDIT: can't believe i double posted this thread. mods! i want to get rid of the other one, since the pic is huge and i don't feel right about it, a link is better methinks.
