His kindergarten cop one is the best
Actually it was Tim Costello and his Anti Gambling group
I've been playing on jokaroom and tbh they all seem the same mate.Anyone got any suggestions on where to play online I’ve played Emu casino the last month or so and I just cannot win I think that casino is rigged.
Can someone maybe inbox me with some suggestions I have the Australian government ruining online casinos it makes me so mad
That alone, doesn't make it an enjoyable hobby.i just looked at casino mate and they wont even joinI have had no issues withdrawing from Casino-Mate though I do admit having to wait 24 hours before it is processed drives me insane
So emu has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.
Kid won 30k off $200 and they woudlnt pay him out, he blew it all and committed suicide.
Probably took their time verifying account (standard with them and you cant request withdrawal until you are fully verified) and it worked, he got bored and thinking he can turn it into more blowing it all back.So emu has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Not sure atm, they said he tried calling but wouldn't answer it.Yes seen a bit of that news too. Do you know why they didn't pay him?
100% agree mate. They never talk about all the suicides at the star.Probably took their time verifying account (standard with them and you cant request withdrawal until you are fully verified) and it worked, he got bored and thinking he can turn it into more blowing it all back.
Watch the media and politicians turn this into an excuse to also block them on the DNS blacklist like offensive materials/piracy etc.
Sad thing is if they didn't introduce this new law we would have a lot more options that don't take 3 weeks to verify your account and the government could actually get the tax they want.
Badly. When a government decides that all the accredited casinos are "illegal" people are only left with bad and worst options.![]()
There are quite a bit of others besides those 3 that I trust and have had no issues getting paid from.Badly.
Only options seem to be emu/joka/pokie pop :/
What is your most trusted mate? Joka paid me 1.7 out off like 50There are quite a bit of others besides those 3 that I trust and have had no issues getting paid from.
Then you have the 1000 different RTG ones which I generally try to avoid (much harder to get a big win than other providers).

Anyone know why farmville 1,2 and grand dragon are gone from most online casinos?
Did aristocrat sue or something
GameArt no longer offer their services to Australia. Not sure about Grand Dragon.
Edit: Sorry, I don't think I have commented on the right games. I was thinking of Money Farm1,2

Maybe CM could give us a private forum to discuss these matters?

Only just discovered this thread. Gold stars to the OP for commencing it
With the ACMA on the warpath, I'm not sure adding casinos who still accept AU players is a good idea. This thread is indexed by Google etc, and is also viewable by guests.

Emu is gone, from what I'm reading the ones that are known not to pay out Aussies will go.When is the website blocking actually happening? Or has it happened already?
Blocking torrent sites didn't work very well - they only insisted the top 3 ISP's block them whereas the rest didn't have to. Maybe its the same for Casinos?

Can you not access Emu? What error message are you receiving?Emu is gone, from what I'm reading the ones that are known not to pay out Aussies will go.

Also not sure what you mean by the bolded bit.
No casino should be offering any games to Australians. That said, I would have thought these rogue casinos would be the ones to stay as there is no redress for any Aussie in the case of non-payment, so there is little incentive for them to quit the market.
WEBSITE BLOCKED
Access to this website has been blocked because the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has found the site is in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (IGA).
It is prohibited under the IGA to provide online wagering services to customers in Australia without a licence issued by an Australian state or territory, or to advertise such services. It is also prohibited to provide or advertise other types of online gambling services to customers in Australia, such as slots and casinos.
….
When emu was being closed the article said the government was targeting sites that were known not to pay out or screw Aussies over.
Im optus and will try find the article for you. Read it after emu got blocked which was a week or so a go to most people. So it's starting to get serious then.
Soon we will be without any online casinos, as casinos can only operate with a licence, but there is no licencing authority in Australia to issue licences. That is the classic Catch-22 situation we are in.
What IP provider (at a guess, Telstra?) are you using, because so far I have not been affected by this.
Can you also post a link to the article re Emu? I would like to read it.
