As you can see from my post here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/christmas-treats-from-the-places-you-play.15541/

I'm less than impressed with not receiving a Christmas bonus from Fortune Lounge for the 39K total I've dropped since April 2006. My yearly bankroll is around the $60K+ mark.

You'll also see that another VIP of Fortune Lounge RobWin is also feeling pretty upset about not receiving a Christmas bonus from FL either. His yearly bankroll is also around the $60K+ mark.

Hence, we've decided to post this thread and let it be known we are accepting offers from casino manager that would sincerely appreciate our business.

I think it would be fair to all if you want our action that you contact us separately via PM and tell us why we should consider switching to your casino.

Personally I'm only interest in offers from Microgaming casinos.

Robwin I'm not sure what casino platform he'd consider, but I'm sure he will post to this thread and inform you.

Cheers

Trezz

This thread is for you Wim and the other upper management over at the Fortune Lounge Casinos that chose to forget about Trezz and RobWin this year at Christmas.

Shame on you guys for .........FORGETTING ABOUT TWO OF YOUR MOST LOYAL VIP PLAYERS AT CHRISTMAS TIME.......SHAME ON YOU !!

We are both now officially taking offers and bids from Mircogaming Casinos that would like to have our future business of combined playthru in the range of several million dollars.

Make us your best offer.

By the way,,, for those skeptics,,,Trezz and I did not know each other previously until we found out that we were both VIP Players at Fortune Lounge Casinos and that we neither one received JACK SHIT for Christmas from The Fortune Lounge group.

Well, I played a tad at Fortune lounge for some time and used to get bonus's on a rare occasion. Last Christmas I got something but not this year. So I wrote them a nice little email and asked why no card, no thank you, no special offer, nothing ! And this is what I got back.

I can understand that you feeling frustrated at the moment however the
Fortune Lounge Group of casinos have sign up offers on the casinos and
poker rooms; the terms and conditions are agreed to when registering any
account.

The Fortune Lounge Group of casinos is not obligated to credit any
amount of money no matter how trivial outside of the offers which ALL
players agreed to when registering their accounts.

If there is anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate
to contact us.

Now then, I, myself do not find it trivial to continue to appreciate your players. Just because we clicked an agreement does not mean they can not do something nice on this special occasion, since we are the players that keep them going.

If you ask me, I would say people need to start a boycott against this group because of this BS over xmas gifts, as well as their replies when asked about it. As it's been said before, it's not the issue of a bonus, it's about being respectful towards loyal players.

They seem more interested in collecting a huge customer base that won't stay around instead of retaining their current customers by keeping them happy.

There's plenty of other casinos out there that treat players with much more respect, and reward their loyal customers.

I closed my accounts with this group months ago...not because of bonuses, but because they kept sending me spam. I would unsubscribe from one casino in the group, and they would take me off, BUT they would add me to another list for another casino in the group, and it just kept coming. If you'll notice, there's no way to unsubscribe from all of the lists at once. You have to unsub from each individual one.

If they can't respect my decision to unsubscribe from their spam lists, why should I respect them enough to give them any money?

FL, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!

I don't play at Fortune Lounge but if I received this statement in my email I would be putting my bankroll up for bid as well!

It is the word obligated that got me. No you are not obligated to drop a few bucks on your VIP players, but quite honestly I think your PR department might feel it wise to do so. You just lost two players with a combined bankroll of around 120k/yr. I guess they aren't obligated to you either!

Ahhh... I see... but I am not obligated to give them my money, either. Thank you Fortune Lounge for helping me to see the light.

I took exception to their trying to pass off a downgrade in their loyalty program as a wonderful upgrade (as if we're all mindless ninnys) quite some time ago. (I play VP, and they more than doubled the playthrough required per point.) I've only played on occasion ever since. Guess I'll be uninstalling some more casinos. It seems to have become a holiday tradition for me. :D

i did nt get that mail. But that is so poor- i dont have the words to describe.
Quit.
Nice christmas so far. Done with bellerock and fortune lounge.

I stopped playing at Fortune Lounge when my birthday came and went without as much as a happy birthday email from them. Though I'm not a huge player,8k since January, still it wouldn't take them 30 seconds to send an email that said happy birthday.

I think most online casino are getting pretty pathetic, I spend far less in land based casinos and always get birthday and Christmas offers, meals, comped money, free gifts, rooms etc. not to mention land based casinos actually seem to care if you come and play, seems to me that online casinos could care less if you play or not.

I'm sure this treatment of players by Fortune Lounge is a vision of things yet to come and why I stopped gambling online, they want your money and nothing else.

Why did you guys play at Fortune Lounge in the first place? Did they do something special at one time? Because I never noticed anything special, but I'm not a highroller.

Fortune Lounge was always the best of the worst, all online casinos are pretty shitty but FL was a little better than the others, faster payouts, infrequent promotions, etc.

not too wild about them either, and they evidently aren't paying out "EXTRA big" in lieu of their not offering bonuses/gifts from Christmas. Haven't hit a single thing (besides ONE good round, but all downhill from there, as if their slots are "tightened" extra tight.

I REALLY don't appreciate their nonchalant and stingy attitude that reflects in their mail posted earlier in their thread. As for the word "trivial"...maybe they are against Christmas or just don't care about the players (don't mean to start anything here, but a few choice words come to mind)

Hi and merry Christmas all,

Holding casinos to ransom in this manner is not really the best way to go about things.
Firstly, just because you deposited 60k last year, does not mean you will deposit 60k in 2007. Or do you intend setting up a direct debit or standing order when your new casino placates you with big bonus's?

Secondly depositing 60k over a year in my book, yes makes you a high roller, but it does not necessarily mean you are a loyal customer. A loyal customer is someone who makes regular deposits (no matter how small) and plays in the casino frequently. With table limits becoming ever higher 60k could be just 60 hands of Blackjack, over 60 minutes of playing time!

If you really are a shrewd player, then to me the solution is obvious.
Spread your bankroll across many casinos, instead of sticking all your eggs in one basket.

I am a lowish roller, I like many others on here never got a Christmas bonus. But the difference is, I wasn't expecting anything, so anything I do receive would be a surprise, not an expectation. :)

I really appreciate everyone's input on this, it means a lot to see people sharing their experiences about their treament at the FL.

I'm still flabbergasted by Sean (CSR) response:

Well seeing we're airing our FL washing... Get this, this is the response I received from my enquiry regarding the Christmas Bonus:

Hi Dave

Thank you so much for your warm wishes - I have forwarded your e-mail to all of them and I am sure that they will appreciate your wishes for the festive season.

Dave, as far as I know there has not been any additional Christmas bonuses sent out and unfortunately I am not able to credit any bonus to your account at this stage from my side. I am so sorry about that!

I hope that you will have a fabulous Christmas and wonderful 2007 and look forward to speaking to you again soon!

Thank you for choosing the Fortune Lounge!

Regards and best wishes,

Menissa

Least I say that a further 4 - 5 emails traversed the cyber highway pertaining to this subject. One of which Menissa stated there was NO floor manager on duty...Obviously thinks I'm a gullible town idiot too

Why did you guys play at Fortune Lounge in the first place? Did they do something special at one time? Because I never noticed anything special, but I'm not a highroller.

I think the reason was that they were very aggresive with their marketing. When I started playing a few years ago, the first MG casinos I came across was 7 Sultans, Royal Vegas and Vegas Palms and they did have quite nice sign-up bonuses. I havent played with them since my accounts were locked for security reasons. Although they have been reopened since I objected, I am still wary. Just stating the obvious, stay with 32 RED and you wont go wrong.

Even if Trezz got a 1k Christmas bonus from FL for his 60k, he is still well short of what he could have had if he had of hedged his bankroll across different casinos.

He could have had 2 dozen smaller bonus's and still have been a loyal player at all of them, by making regular but smaller deposits. Afterall you can build up a decent bankroll from a low 3 figure sum, if your patient.

Just my thoughts

the simple answer to this is, (especially with the responses you've gotten from them), never forget this and the best way to show it is to play primarily at a different casino group. You ever notice those emails that try to lure you back "Noticed you haven't deposited in awhile...so here's so much free" type of thing. Money talks.

I totally understand this thread.

Its not about making Christmas into something evil. Its about being appreciated by the places you have given your business all year.

I am disgusted in the lack of appreciation shown this year by the places I have deposited my money to.

I also have spent a large amount of money this year and had ONE bonus only.
That was $25 from XXLClubcasino.

I spend most of my money at Palace Group. In the last couple of months it has been a deposit every day always over $100. Yes they have given me some great vip cashback bonuses. I also got a comp on my one year anniversary (i had to ask though which kind of takes the fun out of it).

But I have not recieved a cent comped for christmas. This shits me. I will not ask because to be honest it has made me think twice about how much a loyal player is valued there and whether I will continue my depositing.

VIP.COM got tens of thousands off me this year and again I have received nothing. I got an email several weeks ago asking me to confirm my new address so they could send out my xmas gift but I recieved zilch. I also am concerned with their customer support as I emailed them 2 weeks ago regarding something I was entitled to and never got yet they failed to reply. I was prepared to return to my regular depositing their if they had of fixed it but guess my $ means diddly squat to them.

32Vegas (yeah i know bad choice of playtech lol) also has given me jack and i have deposited there alot.

My last disappointment is Party Casino and Poker. Ok i stopped playing there a month or so ago due to there dodgy evasive email replies but have also spent thousands and thousand there. I recieved nothing so i sent off an email asking for a free chip and the reply was that the computer would not add one. LOL I asked them too not the darn computer.

When will these places start valuing their customers?

I will be bored out of my brain but they can forget about my money from now on until they pick up their act.

I am also open to offers as to where I will deposit my money. I would not shop for an expensive item without comparing deals so why should this be any different.

My 'home' B&M casino where we had played for years was taken over/merged with MGM. Comps all but disappeared. Did I stay with them? No. I shopped around. I went to another casino that had grabbed my interest, told a host what we usually play during a gambling trip, how many times a year we usually visit, told her we were looking for a new 'home' and I wanted to try out their casino. She set us up for a modest suite, 3 nights comped, first trip. Comps were better there, (nothing spectacular as we are not high rollers, but rooms and food are comped) so now that is my 'home' B&M casino.

Its not about making Christmas into something evil. Its about being appreciated by the places you have given your business all year.

Precisely.

You are right about that. Trezz and Robwin Will Not be depositing that amount this year with the Fortune lounge group with the kind of love that they have shown us this Christmas.

Does making regular deposits every single day in one of the Fortune Lounge casinos count? This is practically what we did.

If you really are a shrewd player, then to me the solution is obvious.

We didn't stick all our eggs in one basket !

Thanks

that is one of the things i miss about intercasino. they were very good about comps. maybe not on special holidays but when i would write and complain about something, ryan would many times comp me for whatever i was bitching about. he treated me better than i probably deserved.
inetbet or trident did send me a match bonus for christmas but i never use the bonus when i play. it was still a nice gesture.

The way I see it is that it is the Casinos right not to offer a bonus and it is the players right to get upset about it and close their account.
That original email from Fortune lounge though was so churlish that I can only assume their customer support is run by 9 Year olds.

As for;
Least I say that a further 4 - 5 emails traversed the cyber highway pertaining to this subject. One of which Menissa stated there was NO floor manager on duty...Obviously thinks I'm a gullible town idiot too

If they think you are a gullible town idiot they must see me as an Ameba with a labotomy.
Whilst on the phone to Palace group support I was told I could not speak to Management as, "They do not work Weekends".
God bless them.;)
