Hey guys... Just wondering how you are finding VRC at this moment in time.

I know I made a post about them below but it was discussing another matter.

Again with the talk of possible "switches" and games odds being changed for players how is it playing for you at the moment? because im starting to feel there now that if there was a luck switch then mine had been flipped to the wrong side.

In the past I have claimed a fair few free chips. Due to the high WR I havent been able to meet WR, however a few times I have had weird things happen in games to make me believe about the RTP being able to be set per player.

If we talk about "psychadelic sixties" to begin with... for me it used to be really low varience. Many times when I was playing with free chips I often hit free spins and then hit 3 sets of expanding wilds and a lot of bonuses (needless to say WR wasnt met because it was too high).. nowadays however weather I play a bonus or not I hit literally nothing on it. If I bet $1 a spin then I could go near 100 spins with barely getting my bet value back and bonuses at that spin value simply dont happen. If im betting a lower 30c a spin I may get the odd 1 or 2 bonuses very rarely but my normal spins hit next to nothing each time.

Now onto blackjack. Again I used to play it a fair amount with the free chips. I did used to get mostly decent hands. Now however if I play with a bonus I do manage to get a fair few wins on it... however if im playing with my own cash im very very lucky to see profit... it actually becomes really silly hands where the dealer constantly beats my 20 by having BJ or worse still where he manages to get 21 after showing a soft 17 or lower.

In fact 95% of games have payed really well in bonuses months ago. However after some big wins on them previously (with a bonus I never made WR for) they have all become tight for me to play.

In actual fact what baffles me is my last cashout was nearly 4 months ago which was a low amount. Since then I have had nothing it the ways of any wins.

In the past 2 days I have made over $700 worth of deposits (high roller style eh..nearly) and have lost all of it with $0 profit on anything. When I did make profit it was less than $30... and if you look at that i have to pay $5 bank fees with each deposit (since my bank is UK £ ;) ), then moneybookers withdraw fees and of course lose more of it with currency conversion to my bank. So with that taken on board theres simply no point withdrawing that little profit because by time all of that is taken into consideration I would be left with nothing.

In the past week I have also been given (at my request mostly... but only fair from my very poor and skeptical run of results) 3x $100 free chips, 2x $25 free chips, 1x $200 free chip and 1x $7 free chip, as well as redeeming a total near $100 in comp points (of course at different times) and getting my weekdly cashback... and each of the chips have gone like water (played my $200 chip this morning... 15 or so losing hands of BJ in a row where I never once profited let alone met wr and it was gone)

If you look at that where I have had no such profit or withdrawls for nearly 4 months I can say that in the past week I have played at 2 other rivals (21grand and slotto) where I have indeed made profit and cashed out.

Im just thinking that surely now I have proven that i can deposit $700 in just 2 days then they should reallly be hoping to play their cards right (or wrong in this case) and keep me onboard as a depositor... because if I dont manage any cashable wins of a few hundred $'s with my next bonuses/cashback then I will get my account blocked an uninstall them (for good this time)

Well. If you think there's something fishy, don't play there :)
But Psychedelic 60's has extremely high variance...just like Scary Rich 1 and 2.
Agree on shoving cash to Rival without hitting anything can be really frustrating but with that software, it only takes one free spin to cover your losses and some extra. Used to dump my cash to various Rivals in the past but closed last of them earlier this week...just couldn't take the variance anymore. The scenario was almost like to one you described and got totally fed up. Same goes with RTG...:D

Well is Psychedelic 60's the same slot where you get the Bus during a bonus round and pick up passengers for rewards?

If so, I found i to to be near impossible to get the FS. Wagered tons and even played out a 4k balance trying to get the FS (Which i got once) and paid next to dust....

It is indeed. The strange thing though was ever since first opening my account at VRC until recently I always gathered it was low varience because it always paid out really well. At that time I was getting at least 3 bonuses per 100 spins.

I should of really gone and deposited elsewhere but it left me thinking "iv never had a bad run like this ever... surely my much deserved win is just about to happen"

Trust me Sparkz, You are NOT alone. I have had some 'once in a lifetime' bad runs at some of the places i play at...

One run gets worse than the last... Haven't played MG for a while, I was wondering if i should migrate back there. My biggest wins and best runs have come there - I have had big hits and bad runs at other providers, but NONE as good as the ones at MG.

Yea MG seems to come up trumps.

What i hate about rival is its all about what you put in. "jackpot" (having 5 of the jackpot symbol) can pay as little as $20 depending on your stake. Bonuses vary on bet size. On average you get $10 for a 40c spin, $20 for a 60c, $30/$40 for a $1 spin. However when you increase the bet by a fair bit you would expect great wins but get nothing. I had a play where I was betting $5 a spin. Hit the bonus for $40.. and hit free spins getting barely my spin value back.

If you hit the bonus at $5 a spin on a MG you would be sure to get something superb... just a shame my card no longer works at MG casinos :(

Thats one thing about MG i can attest to. When the FS came, you either had a low win of 20x plus bet or a Big Win... No small x1 and x5 wins for me on the slots i played.

I have hit on Scary Rich 1 and 2... last notable hit a week or 2 ago (that i can remember) is 3.9k off a 20buck bet on SR2. I hit 2k or so earlier with the same bet on SR1... Thats 60's game was a muncher of note...

It is sad that it takes a few $$$$ to hit the FS and u dont even get the equivalent of your bet... Its all too common these days...

I think its just the variance.
My luck has been rather good recently at VRC.
Beginning of this month I got a 100.- free chip, I used the same approach as always, betting very low, not expecting anything because 7K playthrough would be too much.
Played 3 days on that chip, hitting like crazy on the Scary's and ended with a balance close to 1000.- after completing the WR.
Never played over 0.75 per spin.

Also made the playthrough on my 50.- free birtdaychip 2 weeks ago, cashed out 100.- again.
Psychedelic Sixties gave me 3 wilds in FS and a flower on reel 4, paid 1200 times bet.
Both cashouts were paid within 48 hours, including the 24 hours reversaltime, the fastest I ever got from them.

I agree with you Nate, freespins on Psychedelic Sixties can be next to impossible to hit, the game can easily go over 1000 spins without getting those 3 mopeds.
But dont forget the game can pay as high as 6200x bet on a single spin, the highest I've ever seen, progressives not included ofcourse.
In comparison, I think Scary's 'holy grail' is a little over 2000x bet, and Micro's BDBA has a top payout of 4100x bet (which I had the pleasure to hit once):D , and RTG games are capped at 2000x bet.
The game can indeed play like low variance, as long as the Pick-the Hippie-bonus shows up regularly.

The downside is, once these games go into one of their infamous dry spells, these spells can continue for many hours, if not days (never tried that out).
The games are streaky as hell.

For Scary, if its in a paying mood, you can hit the free spins every 20 -30 spins, and if the vampires appear it can run your balance up superfast.
If it wont pay, you wont see any scatters, only if they can block a wild, and 1000 spins or more without FS is no exeption.
And if you hit them, the vampires are nowhere to be found.

100% random results? Nah, dont think so.

This week I played back a balance of 150.- on 0.20/0.25 spins, more than 3 hours on RTG games, over 2500 spins played, triggered ONE freespinround :eek2: when my balance was down to 13.-, paid 19x bet.

So it happens on all softwares, my last decent win on RTG was back in March, when I got 5 scatters on Mystic Dragon.
Ever since, its a drama.
I'm lucky at Rival now, but I'm sure that won't last forever..

hmm, give me some of your luck because today I got a $50 free chip (after I asked numerous times for another ;) ) and guess what? less than 3 mins on BJ and gone.

I find thats the only way to play. If a slot slopes your balance right down you can only hope a few winning hands on BJ boosts in back up but too often it doesnt.

Perhaps thoese sorts of things happen at all software but it happens more often at rival.... Im still convinced that some losing switch has been flicked on for me.. Which thanks to VRC means my gambling budget for october has already been spent, hopefully I get cashback and get a nice win to compensate for these bad times :S

thanks mate because its seriously getting me down.

Gambling has always been about the ups as well as the downs but VRC has done nothing but put a complete downer on everything.

had a bit more of my gambling budget left over that i didnt realise. What did I do? thought once again "well why not VRC... my lucks been that bad... surely the lucky switch must be pressed"... it was actually worse than ever... if you could believe that...

1st deposit tonight.. $35... didnt even get 20 mins playtime to say the least and then decided a further $45 deposit should do it...

nada... out of all the play on than 2nd deposit I had free spins twice... paying under $5 each time.. 1 bonus paying $3... All slots were tight as hell.. Never got to more than $63... but where would be the sence in cashing out that? (again with a total on $7 bank currency fees, $2 or so moneybookers fees and fees to transfer it into my bank)

the rest was just a downwards fall..

I asked for a free chip and got a $50 chip... strangely because it was a bonus the games played better, had a few nice bonuses until that downwards fall came into play again and it was lost.

Gotta seriously rethink things with them. I dont put in $800 in less than 30 days into a casino to have the worst luck in history. If I even had managed profit of $30 or $40 on 1 of the deposits and cashed it out I would of been happy.

Seriously they had best pull their socks up with my cashback offer (when it comes in) and other bonuses... because otherwise October will be the time I leave them in a pile of mud. If I dont manage at least $300 worth of withdraws from bonuses/cashback this month then come the end of the month when my $1000 gambling budget is back, they wont be seeng a cent of it.

I've had one (1) cashout at VRC...numerous deposits, numerous free chips and lately the WORST returns I've ever seen. I do better on the free chips other than the one cashout. I've noticed though in the last few months Scary and Scary II are different. I've played them at every Rival and done thousands of spins. I've had the most cashouts at Rival but ever since my last cashout in July at Black Diamond I can't hit anything. It doesn't matter if it is $.20 a spin or $2.00 a spin. I took a break for a few weeks and am about to do it again...only longer:eek2: It's ridiculous to go hundreds of spins and NO bonus rounds....it's what I play for:D

strange that...

But actually good to know that others are seeing the worst returns ever at VRC nowadays...

Makes you wonder what the hell VRC is playing at...

Years back they would be number 1, generous free chips, some of the highest payouts online.. and of course fast payouts.

Nowdays the far and few between free chips have the worst WR I have seen at any casino (I mean wtf 70x wr, and you have to win double the bonus amount to win 1x the bonus... no sence in it since if you were to meet WR it would take 10 hours paytime... I could go to work for 10 hours and earn nearly $200 as most people can so its pointless), Very very very poor RTP's (not confirmed but isnt it funny how so many people cant win a thing there now?) and slowr than average payouts.

It seems too obvious to me that their business plan went down the pan when new management took over. It originally was about giving players the best experience and reknown for free chips. New management have become greedy, cut most free chips, lowered payouts of the games and become a poor place to play.

The sad thing is many people (like myself until now) actually remembered the good VRC days, and will stick up for them through thick and thin (until they realise their bank balance is depleted with no return). Greed and realising the generous and fair WR free chips prevented them meeting targets has turned VRC into nothing but problems

I agree as well about the bonuses... Honestly what I cant understand is if you play there with your own cash... your lucky to see 1 bonus round... If you play with a bonus then you will see a few... very suspicious.

Iv always had my doubts about rival since too many people including myself have gone through bonuses where the games play nice to begin with... plenty of bonuses and nice wins... but the closer you get to meeting WR the tighter it becomes :(

Edit: also after seeing another thread about VRC makes me mad... as 1 person commented saying about someones problem something along the lines of "it isnt good when a casino reverses a withdraw for you to entice the player into losing the lot... im sure VRC would never do this", thats exactly what their "system" did to me before as I epxlained, I was away from pc for a week, couldnt send in faxback forms, when I left the pc my withdraw was no longer reversible... then I come back home and just as im about to send the faxback forms I notice my withdraw was put back on my account

Well I never :O

Im gonna eat my words slightly...

I logged in today to see if a bonus was avaliable... nope

saw I had about $10 in comp points...

Thanks to some very kind cards at blackjack and a few nice wins on that wedding game I can now say I have cashed out $505 from that :D

They told me im a silver VIP so Im also hopeful that not only will I get cashback tomorrow (for my $800 losing deposits) but also when they send out the next no deposit bonuses ill be getting a $100 chip :D

wahooo

Theres still a few slight concerns about their support however.

Years back the support would really congratulate you and leave you feeling more positive after a win. They didnt say a thing. I of course flushed it (where its still reversible) and asked how long it will still be reversible for... their reply was "dont know, depends on the amount of withdraws there are to audit"

Well I spew my words back out at vrc... and i cant believe what just happened...

I uninstalled VRC... so I wouldnt reverse it... then guess what?

while all my withdraw is being processed I got an email saying a special bonus had been added to my account... Now of course I wanted to check it out...

I reinstalled, saw it was a $75 bonus... played it... did quite well, almost met wr but the downwards spiral happened...

Lost it... since I was feeling in a gambling mood I reversed my $505 withdrawl... and lost it...

I shall never have anything to do with them anymore. It was clearly a tactic and a very unfair 1 at that.

I feed them $1000's of my cash in many years with over 30 deposits and just 3 withdrawls. Up to $900 alone in the past 30 days and what do I get? the 1 time I make a withdraw of a measly $500 compared to what I have deposited over time and they try any tactic to get me to reverse it and withdraw it.

No other casino has ever stooped that low. I am feeling really upset by it if im honest because iv parted with my gambling budget there and this is how they repay me?

That really sucks ofcourse, but I dont believe they gave you that bonus to lure you in, as most depositing players got this 75 free chip tonight.
Me too, despite the recent cashouts on free chips.
Nice surprise.:D

I hardly ever reverse a withdrawl.
Learned the hard way that reversals are somehow cursed.
Its always gone in a split second.

Did my first and only reversal this year yesterday at Tropica, won from their free 10.- (max. $25.-) so I reversed the 25 with a cashable 55.- bonus, it went POOOF, gone.. as expected, but what the heck, it was free money.

I got that $75 as well but hours before that I got a "free cash $75" and thats what the email I got was informing me about....

Reversing has always been a nogo. As you say once you reverse it goes like water. Its bad enough having to uninstall the casino and fight off temptation to reverse it but any casino that throws a free chip to lure members back in while their withdraw is pending are simply committing bad practice.

It almost gives people different thoughts about other casinos in general that have reverse withdraw systems in place and wont thoroughly flush.

Really has been an experience I will never forget,

Although I have had breaks from gambling before and contemplated quitting this time the experience has been far too much to even think about depositing ever again anywhere.

I'll take whatever free bonuses I can get this month but come the end of the month when my gambling budget is back i'll just invest it back into my business instead of wasting it on the shit that we all call online gambling

I pretty much agreed with everything you have said in this thread....but how do you figure that the $75 free cash was given to you just to lure you back in? How did they know you had uninstalled the casino so you wouldn't be tempted to reverse? Or did you tell them?

If it was me, I would have been thankful that I got the free $75 to 'tide me over' until I got paid.

I mean I know how you feel, when I lose a large reversal I start thinking about all kinds of crazy shit that the casino probably did to make me lose. But in the end, I know I was being greedy and it was all my fault. Trust me, I have reversed (and lost) 5 figure withdrawals before...calls for many sleepless nites.

Hope your luck changes!

Turn right, then right. then right again
I am not a Rival fan these days, but it is not VRC's fault that you reversed and lost your winnings, regardless of what they did or didnt offer or send you.

Its OK to be pissed at yourself for blowing it back, but don't apportion the blame to any other party because you are only fooling yourself. Take responsibility for your own actions.

I think you are being sensible by quitting online gambling and putting money into your business - you have a far better chance of success.

I always take responsibility for my actions where gambling is concerned.

Reversing is 1 thing any gambler finds hard to not do. As I mention its difficult enough to not reverse something but when you are lured into it then things get worse.

Its easy for a casino to know when youve uninstalled it, data is recieved when you launch the installer, so theres always a chance its sent when you use the uninstaller.

Regardless of that though I dont know how anyone can think it wasnt a tactic to get me to reverse my withdrawl.

I had won just over $500. Thats a nice chunk.. why would they actually want to give me a chance to win $150 more (with the $75 free chips max cashout they emailed me to tell me i had recieved) with not just 1 more free chip, but also a further $75 (max cashout of $75), the $7 chip and $500 freeplay that almost everyone got anyway.

I can understand the latter bonuses because every depositor got them but the original bonus I was emailed about surely wasnt there way of giving me a chance to win even more.

As we know casinos are wanting to make as much cash as they possibly can. So if I managed to cashout the max on all of thoese bonuses that would be an extra $265 at very least and also a big pile of comp points earnt meaning I would of nearly made back all the cash i lost in the past week.

Even if I hadnt met WR with the chip they emailed me to tell me about I would of still earnt the comp points and there would be another temptation to reverse my withdrawl and add the comp point value to it,

It also would not suprise me that this was their motive since previously I had flushed a withdraw (before the new system came into place, so it was instantly made NON reversible) and barely a week late its was reversed by them and put back on my account.

Theres no anger about the cash amount itself. The money was the gambling budget I had put aside for the month and hasnt affected my main money. The annoyance is where I gave VRC the benefit of the doubt numerous times before, even after this string of very bad luck. Then after luck swings my way I am tempted to part with my winnings... I know thats fact and afterall I dont go around saying the sky is pink when I know its blue and this is the same thing
