Hi guys,

I hardly ever play with a bonus but yesterday I decided to take one to extend playtime a bit.
Deposited €100.00 with a €50.00 bonus attached to it.
Last few deposits on this casino did not give me anything at all and of course when playing with this bonus one after the other feature was triggered and my balance shot up quite quickly.
Went from €150.00 to €2100.00 in 30 minutes of play on Novomatic Slots, normally not shy to leave you with 1000+ spins without a feature trigger.

/tinfoil hat off :p

Now here are 2 questions:

1. I think I was still playing with my real money funds (real money is played first) so I wonder am I still able to forfeit the 50 Euro bonus money and jump out of this 30x B&D WR? I know I did this at Vera&John once where I was still able to forfeit bonus as all wins were made with my real money balance...But casino in this case is Energy Casino so I have no clue if they handle different rules...Not clear in T&C's, all it says is real money funds are played first.

2. If I still need to go through WR,out of 4500 Euro I still have to wager 3800 Euro with a 2100 Euro bankroll...Any tips how to proceed, what stake sizes and which slots?

EXCLUDED are: Koi Princess, Blood Suckers, Lucky Angler, The Wish Master, Devil's Delight, Dead or Alive, Kings of Chicago, Simsalabim, Victorious, Forsaken Kingdom, Castle Builder, Ladies Nite, Stardust, Peek-A-Boo

Except above I can pick any MGS / Netent / Novomatic slot available.

Like I said I seldom play with a bonus so I have no clue how to proceed and how to turn this into a possible WD.
Was thinking maybe to start doing 3 Euro spins on MGS 243 liners and hope for a nice decent big win or just go "safe" and play Netent slots...

Whatever the outcome, will get helluva playtime for my 100 Euro deposit!! :D:D:D

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

1.
Energy does not allow forfeiting bonuses and cashing out the balance until WR is met. If you forfeit, all winnings will be gone. Had something similar happening just 2 months ago. I too rarely take bonuses and on this day i just couldn't lose.

2.
I played my favorites to get through WR: TS2 and IR ... had then a 4-reel WD on IR and ended with a balance just below 5K USD.

Good luck and have fun. :D

Im sure you are tied in at Energy.

I would PM the rep to make sure.

But if you are, then i would do the same thing, have a blast on the 243 wayers, although i personally wouldnt do 3 quid but thats your choice as you have a big balance. Actually i may do but i probably wouldnt have got up to that balance in the first place.

You're going to come out on top anyway

Hmm, i'd start playing Real Steel or BDBA at 45 or 90p a spin, invest 500,- on those bet's and either get a decent return, or a massive win if your lucky..

If you get a bad run and lose the whole 500,- then i'd skip to slots like Starburst (50p), Gold Factory, Wild Turkey, Drive MM, and such..

Those are slots that have at times cleared whole WR's for me. They are no guarantee ofc, but on average i get the best playtime on those (and DOA of course, but that's excluded)

Of course it may be worth if you first check with support about the forfeiting of the Bonus and cashing, that would be even better:)

If you want to play safe, go for a low-variance type of slot like Starburst or so and keep bets low. Statistically you should loose around 150 Euros for a machine with a 96% RTP wagering out the bonus, but of course you never know if the variance goes in your favour or the casinos.

Just don't make too much lower bets than you started with. It's usually forbidden if you started with like 5€ bets and suddenly go to some 0,5€ bets just to clear the wagering requirements. You have really health balance for that kind of wagering amount so I wouldn't worry too much what to play :) Play what you enjoy playing and almost for sure you'll get like 1,5k withdrawal even if things don't go too well with other slots.

Energy bonus T&C's are very clear:

7. In order to redeem your Reload Bonus, you must wager 30 times the bonus and deposit amount (wagering requirements for customers from Canada, Greece, Croatia, Portugal and Romania are 40 times deposit and bonus amount). For example, a deposit of €200 will result in a €100 bonus and you will receive a total amount of €300. You will be required to wager €300 x 30 = €9000 in the casino before you may cash out. To see your bonus and how much you need to wager go to “My account” and click on “Bonus balance - details".

8. If a player makes a withdrawal before they have met the wagering requirements, any funds remaining in their Bonus Balance will be deemed null and void and the balance will return to zero.

Yeah seen that..So making WR it is lol.. :)
Don't see the point of playing real funds first though..If u need to clear WR anyway..

That has always been the norm. All MG download bonuses work like that, first play with cash balance then with bonus.

Probably some accounting thing as they pay some percentage to the games suppliers for bonus chips.

Spoke to my Energy VIP manager and he confirmed indeed I have to make the WR regardless of the fact I didn't dip into the bonus funds yet.
Thanks again for all the advice guys.
Will have a run for it tonight and will post result after done.

If I even make the WR and be able to cash out a few hundred would be awesome.

I will defo give it a good go.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the very best of luck.

Only advice I will offer is don't stay on any one game too long (unless its paying like crazy of course) I've been in similar positions, big bankroll, lots of WR in the past and 'hung on in there' on a particular game too long and the withdrawal has ended in disappointment.

Mix it up a bit and play some games you've not played for ages or maybe never played, £1-£2 spins but as I say no more than say 50 spins.

You could even try my old '20 and move on' wagering system where you list say 30-40 slots before you start, do a count of 20 spins and then move onto the next slot on the list, only exception is if you trigger a feature or hit a win over 20x you restart the count to 20 from scratch.

Had some fun with this 'system' over the years and results, although never life changing have always proved more positive than not.

Enjoy, look forward to a great result and some screenies later

I think this is a very good strategy. I took the energy 50% bonus on wednesday and was in the position to have a bankroll of 300€ and still had to wager 3500€ (deposited 100€ +50€bonus initial bankroll). I was playing between 50-100 spins on TS2, IR, Jurassic Park, GOT 243, Playboy, Jack and the Beanstalk, Drive MM, Creature from the Black laggon and Secret of the Stones on minimal Stake. If there were 50-100 Spins without any decent win I changed the Game. I was able to withdraw 500€ after completing the WR.

Good Luck!

3800 wagering with a 2300 bankroll should almost definitely result in a cash out. As others have said mix it up and don't get too deep on any one machine. And avoid novomatic ;-)

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

please, please, please let us know how you get on Lotusch, I have fingers and toes crossed for you as I appreciate what an annoying predicament this is. Why is it always the case that you have a crazy winning streak the one time you take the bonus???....

I don't know if Energy do it, but I always like casinos that make it very clear how far you are through the WR.

I'd side with Harry here. Play the games that you usually enjoy and have fun.

Best of luck

Thanks my friend.;)
I know you take the reload bonus from time to time at Energy Casino when I see you streaming so I know it is doable.

But it remains weird that in a good few consecutive deposits I could not hit a penny and on my last deposit for this particular session I thought,ah well fek it let's take the bonus just for once to extend playtime and seriously ALL Novomatic slots dished out a bonus game within 10-25 spins!!

Lady Luck
Book of Ra
Captain Venture
Bugs n Bees
Quest for Gold
Carribian Holidays
Pharao's Gold

This is highly highly unlikely on Novo slots to trigger that many FS on consecutive games in such a short time span.

But again,I hope I can make the WR and cash out a decent amount.

Will indeed stay away from Novo now and stick to Netent and MGS.

WooT made it with a very nice WD.
Fun part is,made nearly my whole WR on Playboy.
Started this slot and it kept throwing 5OAKS and regular FS rounds.
No major hits,by far but enough 50-150x bet wins on €0.60-€1.50 spins.
So happy camper here!! :D:D

I was planning to do like 100 spins on all 243 liners and rotate a bit but because Playboy kept my balance so steady I decided to stay on Playboy.
Could have withdrawn €1900.00 but dabbled a bit around after making WR and lost like €150.00.
But who cares,I am happy I survived this huge WR and make this nice WD.

I don't understand half of the advice given in this thread. A guy is asking for advice how to clear wagering most effectively and he's recommended slots like Immortal Romance. Granted he did end up playing Playboy which is like IR, and he did clear wagering, but no matter how you look at it it's not good advice.

If the goal is to clear wagering most effectively with minimal risk then the answer is NOT high variance slots lmao. As far as I can tell the goal wasn't here to '' Go big or go home '' which is what slots like IR would be best for.

Partially agree.

I cleared the last 2 bonuses that led to a withdrawal exclusively on Thunderstruck 2. First was WR of 7500 with starting balance of 250, ended with just over 900. Wasted then half of it on other slots before withdrawing. Second was WR of 2250 with 150 balance and ended again just over 900, withdrew it all this time.

On a good day this HV slots like PB, IR, TS2 or GOT, will give you plenty of good base pays and mostly nice payouts in FS, no matter which of the options you chose and you breeze through the WR in no time.
