There are alot of sad pathetic people on the internet that live in mommies basement eating her left overs because they cant bother to get a job. They are so miserable they try to ruin everyone else and then pretend they are the ones with morals.

There has been a group of trolls targeting Billy for about 6 months. Have tried to get his twitch name taken down. Reported his channel with gimmick accounts for months saying his username was racist and offensive and finally twitch didnt want to deal with it anymore and forced him to take the word Jew out of his twitch name. I suspect he will lose his channel at some point because he doesnt really care about being bothered. He actually told twitch to go fly a kite for about 6 months they bugged him to change his name. And when twitch said change your name from billy the jew. He wrote back and told them to change it to Fred the jew then. LOL.

But I have been in his channel when the trolls arrive because one of them didnt like that they got banned and have made it their dying with to just troll.

You can but then they just create another fake account and do it over and over. And then when you get a follow it shows the name. So the troll was creating "dreamrj sucks ****" and dozens of other names like that. They would get reported but twitch never does anything but nuke the account and they just create more.

If you arent live streaming you dont have to worry they cant really do anything but comment on your videos that no one can read unless they care to go and look at the comments specifically. If you do live stream you are going to have to find some pretty active mods who are paying attention cause it seems like you are target too.

That is Twitch (and to an extend Youtube when live streaming) for you. You just have to ignore them, or as said get the mods to deal with them.

It is one thing doing pre-made videos, live streaming is a total different ball game. You definitely need some hard skin for sure!

There seems to be guides on reddit that don't look too complicated

I was using something to record that someone on here recommended ages ago, then my hard drive failed, and because I used it so rarely I can't remember its name. All I can remember there was a red box that you dragged to the part of screen you wanted recording, and at the top right of the box it had a few buttons for record, stop,etc. Any idea what it was anyone?

I use OBS Studio for my streaming, but I know some people use "X-Split" as a streaming app. I never used it myself, but maybe that is the name of the software?

Now that is something to moan about!

Hey there. I hope it goes well for you on twitch.

I dont use streamlabs I use stream elements but you can go through some vids on youtube and get the idea.

A couple pointers I can give you if your computer isnt the fastest, on the settings section on obs set your bitrate to 2500 and your fps to 30. This would stop any lagging you might have..and these are two of the main things that would cause any lag. So play around with it and see what is best for you.

Also if you use chrome. You need to go to settings>advanced>system and then turn off your hardware accelerator. This is a huge pain in the ass to try and figure out if you arent aware of it. I got lucky and a friend told me about it after watching about 10 videos and searching around. If you dont you will just get a black screen like Colin mentioned above.

Going with someone like Certified hosting they can do you a media streaming server for under $350 per month ... but it is an ongoing cost and its stand alone so you need to generate your own traffic ... they are US based but have servers in Holland also ... lots of choices for media servers , then its a tube script - market for that is wide open with multiple choices.

Hey nice to see that you'll get to stream. You'll love it. As for Streaming App I used OBS studio easy to understand. If you ever need some help just PM me and I'll help you! And Like Interlog said, it's very important that you put Casino in the Game Field. You can always put a funny Title like The Bonanza Bros Be prepare, most of the people on Twitch are great and freindly, but there is also a bunch of troll that will try anything to get into you...

So it is OK then for the hundreds of affiliate websites promoting gambling, some of which promote some dodgy casinos? What about this website? Are you OK for Bryan to make some money off the back of referring players to casinos?

As for addicts signing up through Twitch or Youtube links, these addicts shouldn't be watching (or reading for that matter!) any gambling material on the internet. And with Gamstop available to them, they can help themselves even better not gambling.

How does Dunover (as an example) taking out the affiliate links to the casino help the addict that happens to watch him? Is he suddenly not going to make that deposit he can't afford after seeing that big win on Bonanza?

Streaming live is a grey area for me, the jury is out. However, there is far worse on YouTube, just ask my wife. We have had to lock YouTube down on the devices our children use, as a lot of the content is not flagged as 18+. Which if we didn't they would innocently come across content that is completely unsuitable.

My opinion, for what it is worth is that to come across these slot channels, you have to actively search for it. It is not like they are full of tags targeting keywords which are completely unrelated to the content they show.

In Dunover's case, in no way was he targeting either minors or problem gamblers. However, just by titling the video I uploaded yesterday Dunover Slots, shows that a lot of people have been hitting the F5 key on their keyboard every couple of minutes, searching for Dunover Slots.

Whether they are problem gamblers with an axe to grind or trolls is a moot point. By the comments that have been left it is clear there was a concerted effort by a group of individuals to get Dunover's channel axed.

Plus I had the pleasure of interacting with one of the scum from Affiliate Edge too. Revelling in my being hit with their Legal Costs back in December. I bet it stuck in their throat that my peers, the affiliates that they have royally shafted came to my aid.

Seth Gecko stated he was a member here as well. You both have the same stance regards Streamers and Gambling YouTube Channels. Apologies if you are not Seth Gecko, but if you are, how come you deleted all your comments from the YouTube video?

I don't have a problem with youtube videos showing big wins etc. I think we are getting closer and closer to a nanny state where we aren't allowed to breathe because it will offend someone, but I genuinely don't see a problem with the videos, especially considering some of the stuff on YT.

What I don't agree with is the ton of affiliate links that seem to go unchecked by affiliate managers. I had a look around some of the slots channels a couple of months ago and I didn't see a single one who was complying with the CAP code. Mind I do also think thats partly down to affiliate managers who still don't understand what you have to do, but, regardless, the affiliate should be aware of the rules and advertise accordingly, rather than blindly following what an AM tells them. (That actually applies to the majority of affiliate sites too). I can see some more large fines being handed out again before long, which, from my perspective, will mean more casinos dumping affiliates again.

The same comments regarding affiliate links apply to streamers, but from a personal point of view I'm less sure about them. I don't see how casinos are keeping check on what they do, and many of them certainly aren't promoting responsible gaming. Again though, I'm not one for liking censorship, and I'm sure theres worse out there, but when some affiliates have had accounts closed for not putting links to gambleaware on their sites, its a bit rich not to say anything to streamers playing £50 spins, when the whole point of the channel is promotion.

I would actually say by watching a stream you see the reality of gambling, and that is more lost than winning deposits.

Why should even that be banned ? this is censorship ...it is dangerous and on a basic level insulting. If you dont like something dont watch it. On what basis would you "ban" a video for showing a person winning allot of money gambling ? We live in a world with enough rules as it is. I remember the clamp down in adult a few years back and the threat to ghettoize adult sites. Did it stop people downloading and watching ? Not a chance in hell but it made the industry up its game, and offer more that ever. In the end the "big boys" no pub intended protected there interests and where needed moved off shore. The world didnt end ,,, that industry continues to thrive and for the most part the dead heads wanting to destroy it are silenced.

Same with gaming its a personal choice.

You've picked up on one tiny part of my post, but it isn't realistic when they are getting constant bonuses with different T&Cs to normal players. Plus people see the '£50k WINNER' headlines rather than the amount lost.

YouTube cleaning up it's content isn't an example of a nanny state. It's a company trying to keep it's target demographic happy.

Some of the videos I saw before this started were getting increasingly unrealistic(as in, casinos would go out of business if the average player had that kind of "luck"). Sure, when the fun stops stop. But a few seconds of a warning followed by an hour of amazing jackpots won't take Derren Brown to convince you a flutter might be a good idea.

Some people here seem to have a belief in free will that doesn't actually exist. There are lots of videos about human behaviour on YouTube which you could use to replace your slotting fix and perhaps learn some new things in the process that help you understand more about the problem.

I don't think you gamble more that anyone on here. Some gamble more on one spin than your repeated deposits of £5-£10

But I would say you gamble far to much chasing loses on the same slot and just spunk any winnings straight back in anyway.

I've noticed yours posts over the last few weeks have become angrier and angrier, and your post above comes across at you trying to deflect some of the anger/blame onto the Youtube streamers and affiliate videos. As it's easier for you to blame them, or anyone else for your losses.

I actually posted a few videos on my youtube (althought I do admit my youtube isnt very active) when I started out of me losing and bad teases. I lost alot of subscribers. People want to see wins and fun. Not depressing losses. Anyone who plays slots or any familiarity has enough common sense to realize there are alot ups and downs and more downs than ups.

But do you want to see video clips of 4x bonuses? I dont.

Some people like myself love to stream slots. We have alot of fun and sometimes I get hammered and sing drunkin Irish songs. But its expensive as hell so if my friends or viewers want to use a link where we get a small portion of the losses..if they lose, Whats the big deal? It allows us to stream more content for people to enjoy. I have had to take two 3 month breaks from streaming because my gamble account would be empty and I would have to work to refill it. Such is life. Alot of viewers arent happy especially ones who sub to your channel but I think they understand slotting is very expensive.

For some reason people think we take affiliate earnings and go and eat lobster or buy diamonds and big tv's. Well no. I have never bought a thing with any earnings aside from a prepaid card to redeposit with and stream or something to fix or add to my computer. Im not saying that is every affiliate but its what alot of streamers do. And even if people were to use earnings for their bills, whats so wrong with that. A good gaming laptop costs $2000+ alone. All the time and work put into everything is alot.

Anytime I reach the $100 cashout threshold for bits and subs. I go and redeposit that and then include viewers in on a giveaway to try and give back to them for cheering bits etc. So we arent all dirtbags looking to make a $1 of the weak like some are suggesting here.

its not like we beg people to sign up either. Its just there for people to use if they want and like the content.If they dont, they can open up a different tab and sign up.

I personally like to get to know someone a little bit or enjoy them before I donate or cheer or use their links. Just to make sure they arent fake money streamers duping people for money.

You've picked up on one tiny part of my post, but it isn't realistic when they are getting constant bonuses with different T&Cs to normal players. Plus people see the '£50k WINNER' headlines rather than the amount lost.

I have not seen any genuine streamer doing £50 spins on a bonus. Most have the same conditions attached to them as you and I have. Yes, they get them more frequently but if you make the level of deposits they do, I am sure you can negotiate a better deal too. I am not talking about the fake streamers, such as Roshstein.

My channel contains both big win highlights as well as all of the streams that I recorded. It gives an accurate reflection of my gambling. I am on a break now because I was fed up losing deposit after deposit.

But all this responsible gambling bollocks is just a moot point. Why are the channels of Dunover, Nickslots et al no longer on Youtube? There is a common theme and it is that they had affiliate links to casinos.

In the meantime, "David slot win excitement" is producing weekly videos showing the big wins on various slots.

Now which channel gives a truer reflection of gambling? The now gone channels or the many more big win channels?

At the end of the day many things are involved here on the 'anti' section - jealousy, envy, self-loathing, anger, a genuine anti-gambling stance and simple trolling plus almost certainly some rival affiliates. There are still numerous channels up with affy links, no RG links and warnings and some with obviously fake content.

Now the 'antis' are basically cyber-bullies because streamers are an easy target and they can (rightly or wrongly) invoke YT rules violations by sheer weight of numbers throwing enough shit.

Now they see the closure of channels as a triumph, no doubt, but what have they achieved in the grand scale of things? Absolutely fuck-all. The amount of annual casino/gambling sign-ups via YT links or streamers is miniscule compared to web-based sites, TV adverts, Radio, word-of-mouth, social media and direct through search engines. YT doesn't even scratch the surface. The trolls can only affect this tiny area, and can do absolutely sod-all about private compliant websites, media adverts etc. We know this, so do they.

That fact leads me to the conclusion that 90% of the campaigning and YT reporting that went on was simply personal and therefore envy and self-loathing were the main motivation. I mean some of these trolls must really be stinging, having racked up 1000's of debt through their own lack of self control and weakness and then focussing on somebody who earns from their folly. I reckon their basic and flawed thought process is "I'm 10k in debt, or have lost 10k and some smug fucker is sitting there at home with 2.5k of that in his bank account" - their self-hatred is then redirected and on it goes.....

As for the cretinous accusations that YT incites kids to gamble?? You need to look closer to home. Did your kids not stay up during the World Cup after the 9PM watershed for gambling sponsors/ads then saturating the breaks? Do your kids all go to bed at 20:45 sharp if under 18? Do they not use Faecebook? Are their and your shared PC's/mobile devices all completely set with parental controls? Have you never let them play 2p pushers at the seaside and seen them get in 'the zone' when bending down to scoop out the 'won' coins at an early age?

Streamers have been around a few years now and slots channels too; go to Gamcare's forum and see if you can find ANY introduction 'my story' post where the respondent cites YT slots channels as their inspiration for addiction? I assure you that you'll find HUNDREDS citing seaside amusements and arcades as the root of the addiction because for some ultra-fucking-bizarre reason the UK uniquely lets under 18's play 10p max-stake gaming machines under the guise of 'amusements', something I still find incredible.

Finally, the big one - YOU yourself and parental responsibility! Do you not explain the bad maths of gambling, the pitfalls and the cost, to your kids? Or are you one of those sink estate families where the grandfather, father and now the kids put self-indulgent gambling habits and bookies' visits ahead of clothing and feeding their kids and actually buying them presents at Christmas and Birthdays that don't come from Poundland?

I suppose there will always be a section of society, no doubt convinced by the media and numerous 'experts' that they are suffering from some sort of 'ism' that will blame every bastard other than themselves for their actions and thoughts.

But that was the point I was making. Those channels that have disappeared (Nickslots, Dunover, the Bandit et al) did contain a mixture of win and lose videos. I have had discussions with the group of people targeting these channels earlier this year (one chap was doing live streams about the subject) and they made it pretty clear they were against affiliation. That is all fine and dandy, but don't do it pretending you care for the problem gambler. At some point one of the bigger streamers (Rocknrolla) kind of caved in and deleted all affiliate links from the videos. He went from instant zero to hero. How does that help the problem gambler, because the problem gambler can still see the same videos and may well be prompted making that deposit he can ill afford after seeing one.

As for Casinodaddy, they are not from the UK so not sure if the UK rules you mention apply to them. If they do, then they should comply to the rules, similar to the hundreds of non compliant ordinary affiliate websites that don't do videos/streaming should.

The problem with understanding this type of behaviour is acknowledging that as humans we're very bad at correctly observing what causes influence our actions. Studies(sorry) have been done that show how people are influenced in different ways, yet they'll swear blind it was for reasons completely different to what they were set up with. And this is why someone stating what they believe a cause of an addiction may be, might well be incorrect. Pretty much any show with Derren Brown is a good demonstration of how subconscious influences impact our actions all the time.

So the problem lies deeper. Go to sites like miniclip. They have a plethora of games aimed at kids who can buy "coins" with real world cash to gamble away on playing against others. Slot like games that pay out "jackpot coins" etc.

It shouldn't be about blame. Without derailing this thread too much, we don't have that type of freedom of choice or free will(according to the available evidence). It's more about trying to correct problems that negatively impact society by addressing the causes and influences of problematic behaviours. I don't know if banning youtube gambling videos will have any impact on this though.

Well my boy seems to spend most of his pocket money on VRBucks on Fortnite. Most games now have in game purchase options for additional features. Indeed one of my friend's stepson a few years back ran up a £300 bill on XBox live, as he hadn't disabled the ability for him to purchase in game add ons.

This I believe is a big part of the problem. YouTube survives by playing ads on the videos on their platform. Channels can monetize their videos. However, paid promotion is frowned upon on YouTube and you have to declare any video is paid promotion prior to publishing a video. I believe the affiliate links in the descriptions and also the promotion of casinos within the videos is the main cause as to why channels are being suspended.
