Your Fur Babies 2020

First is my mates little dog (daisy) superb animal, anti trump dog but cute as a mother fuc****

And sox... been miserable as I left her for a whole 2 hours this evening, she snubbed my offer of peace (the gravy bone) for over a hour...

Eventually backed down, refuses to sit next to me and is on the opposite end of a three seater sofa...

Hey all.
Had sox out earlier, she had a good run off her lead and looked happy..

been back home a while now, she’s just chilled next to me..

Didn’t realise how old she’s looking, really saddened me, 9 years have flashed by...

some nights she can’t jump onto my bed at bedtime, I’ll be lost should anything happen to her, silly I know but never realised how good a friend and companion a dog could be before sox...

Always care for your pets guys..

Well it was that time, we took our cat Smudge to the vets to be put down. Wasn't the greatest experience it must be said, but we got to say goodbye and she's at peace now

Just saw this today. I am so sorry, Goatie. Taking a much loved pet on that final, awful journey is heartbreaking, even if it is the kindest action to take.

Bleedin' heck - they are the size of large bear cubs. They are cute though, even if they could murder sleep, and you with it. :D

I really wish there more emojis available for this section, such as a 'love' emoji or a 'smile' emoji, as the available ones don't really convey what I would like to say, as quite often the 'like' emoji just isn't strong enough.

So here is what I would really like to 'emote'....
Hey all from sox, she’s missed you lot View attachment 143047View attachment 143048

Two truly gorgeous ladies - yup, even The Roadkill, although I hadn't realised she was quite so big. Or is that because Isabella is tiny?

How tame are your lot? I have read they can take off fingers if you aren't careful.

there's about 5 of them
one great big bastich the size and and shape of a pig; he scares the bejeezus outta me lol because he grunts and charges at you...though truth be told I dont know if hes huge and friendly becaue someonese feeds him or he just eats other wildlife and is mean.....he comes around infrequently to raid the cat bowls

there's a pr come around back raid the bird feeders and squirrel leftovers; i leave them be, dont know if friendly or not but they bolt fast if the dogs bark (the huge one charges at the glass door lol)

but the 2 out front? came round since just kitten sized so theyre used to me, both to different degrees; while one just grunts and huffs at me hell eat w/e I toss him and watch me warily...his twin is all gimmiegimmiegimmie hands and will let me hand him stuff and chills on the deck but theyve been coming since just itty bitties and are getting up in size and less 'kid'

all in all, save the one I hand food to (the friendly of the coon kids), I wouldnt chamce..as you say, they could take a few fingers with it

None are 'tame'...if someone so much as walks halfway down and across the road they run...but if me they (the small pr) know my voice and know free grub

I dont mind feeding them...theyve a pretty short life expectancy in suburbia (cars and dogs) so it buys them a bit of longevity since they dont need to cross roads and raid bins

Upsetting scenes this evening at playford headquarters..

A neighbour bought me a few beers and sox a toy for helping her out with her bins, shopping etc as she and her partner had the old COVID (both are fine, just had to stay indoors a they both are teachers)

sadly sox got most upset with the duck she was given, ripped the squeak out and has just lied next to it looking at me like it’s my fault...

She’s cuddled into it now clearly full of guilt for her most savage behaviour with said new toy duck... it quacks no more...

Seriously it’s madness, sox is the same...

Soon as she’s killed the squeak she sulks and looks at me, I’ve one of her toy boxes full of them without a squeak, I’d get rid of them but time to time she plays with them or uses them to cuddle into.

If you look hard enough, you can just about spot a Welsh bloke in camo gear and green hat crawling from under the middle of that bush in the top right corner.
that's not very nice :(

(I thought it was New Zealanders :D )

yup
used to buy 20-30 dollar ones; pointless - she guts the squeak right out

at best, ill grab a dollar store one as I know it's trash-bound

Same. Spent about the same last year on so called ‘Higher quality ones’ it was a skunk, a badger and I believe a monkey... all lasted the same amount of time as the cheap £1 ones, lesson learned haha
