Are you sure that homeless black cat is not actually two cats as he looks different in both pictures. First picture a little bit fluffy, but in the second picture rather sleek.

as for the pure black one, ya, he just looked cuter and fluffier in one, the poser, but he goes from door to door

It is possible he is one of these cats with homes all up and down the neighbourhood. Had one of those a long, long time ago.

The one in the garage with the white face and chest looks adorable as well.

I hadn't even noticed your old pic got taken down, you posted that a couple of days ago or so from recollection.

I'd find that pretty weird too as there is NOTHING offensive in it, unless the writing says something rather suspect

my old girl is getting really old
climbs into bed every night wedged into my nook for heat and if I'm sitting same, trying to keep warm
I'm frugal with heat but by no means 'cold' inside
she didnt even grow a winter coat this year
always been a tiny squirrel sized thing, litter runt

My heart aches for homeless animals, particularly during savage winters where there is snow and ice. Especially if they used to have a home and now, through no fault of their own, have to fight to survive on the streets.

Unless they find Dion's garage, and then all is right with their world.

You don't have to apologise. I totally agree.

I follow (and support) quite a few animal rescue sites, and the stories told on there make me despair for humanity. In fact, there seems to be so little humanity left in most of us these day - we have become a throw-away, disposable society, even with animals.

For the last 40 odd years, all my cats have been older rescues - thrown away because they were too old, or not cute enough, or not cuddly enough, etc. etc. etc. I even had one of the most evil cats that ever was - with me for 17 years, living to the grand old age of 21 - but I still loved her dearly. Well, most of time anyway, when the injuries she inflicted on me were not too severe.

My philosophy is - if an animal is in my care, I am responsible for them for the rest of their lives, and under no circumstances would I ever desert them.

Also the lighter near the cat is a huge health and feline safety concern.
