Your Input Please Yet Another CMA/UKGC Investigation to begin...

about time they looked into withdraws, ban reverse withdraw as soon as possible.

Ban bingo sites from making you have to have £50 in your account before you can withdraw.

I'm not a bingo player and avoid bingo based sites but I have heard stories of patterns where possible bots win the bigger prizes often. I never hear anyone in Casinomeister mention playing online bingo, but if I where a fan of it I would be screaming for an audit of these bingo sites practices

Bingo is shit that's why.
It is but I will never forget winning on a bingo game then playing it on slots getting it to £150 and requesting a withdraw was told had to make a £25 deposit, so stupidly I deposited then was told I had to wager the deposit and managed to get to the end of that with £45 and requested a withdraw and was told it had to minimum £50 and then lost it all trying to get above £50.

Sounds about right - the same happened to me years back.

My experience over the past 20 years in the business has been that bingo sites are the most unreliable, rogue-prone sites you can find in the online gaming sector. Roughly 10-15% of my case load regarding casinos ends up in Warnings and/or blacklistings. The percentage for bingo sites is closer to 60-70%: almost entirely utter shit.

I forget where I read this but I recall someone stating that in a Bingo sites regular tournament where some jackpot took place daily the tourney was never won by anyone they could verify as a genuine depositor.
When I spot a casino that has endless bingo sites as sisters I run a mile purely because of the association. Sometimes there can be over one hundred bingo sites from the same stable which is simply scary

Doesn't look like they are covering pending and reversals which most would agree is the biggest issue , aside from casinos never intending to allow withdrawals because of self exclusion issues or w/e yet allowing players to lose their deposits and saying nothing

The dormancy one is funny because I can't imagine any gambler having a sizeable balance in a casino and forgetting about it for 6 months !?!

Well this is another step in customers favour. UKGC are really stepping up to the plate and are really starting to be more helpful towards the players. I cant wait to see how this one goes and what outcome the investigation comes to and what new rules/guidelines they make as a result of the investigation.

Let us also hope they look into casinos that delay withdraws and do not do withdraws at weekends as well!

But to be fair. I think due to banks now making payments happen into accounts on Monday-Friday and no longer Saturdays and also the fact a number of casinos are removing neteller and skrill from withdraw and deposit options could only mean withdraws will take 1-3 days once processed to banks. And obviously not counting weekends now :(

I don't have any issue with withdrawals being delayed by a weekend, with all the cost cutting sadly there will be much less staff around than there was at some point to process these in a timely manner but the proliferation of the amount of operators now using reversible withdrawals is shocking and flies right against the Responsible Gaming mantra we are now having shoved down our throats at every opportunity.

The withdrawal limit thing though definitely needs looking into. I've been lured in at a place recently and was able to withdraw a big balance but hidden DEEP within terms was a withdrawal restriction that will mean me waiting until MAY for some of my withdrawal all the while I am still receiving promotions designed to probably tempt me in and reverse these withdrawals I have pending.

I have forgot about $100-$150 in an account many times..only to revisit that casino like a year later and log into that and ask live chat where it came from.

Feels like a big giant gift. When really I am dumb.

about time Cassava had it's wrists slapped isn't it? Not sure primary concerns cover Cassava though.

that article did lead me to this article..... Guess they will the next casino to start the Source of wealth declaration then!

William Hill to pay £6.2m penalty package for systemic social responsibility and money laundering failures

The ability to Reverse should 100% be illegal. Taken out. Once you withdraw, that should be it. I'd love to see the mark up casinos have because of the ability to reverse. Even though, yes if i couldnt reverse, i wouldn't of won £14k, but i reckon i'd have lost close to that anyway, reversing £1/200 quite often anyway.

Thats my 2 cents anyway.

Hi. From the operators side, yes, the ability to reverse is vital to profitability... something like 7/10 wds reverse at many a casino/sportsbook I've seen.

But from the players' side, not allowing them to reverse would result in an APOCALYPSEof player complaints. I can hear it now.... "It's MY money and I want to PLAY it NOW or I'm NEVER playing here again and reporting you to Casinomeister...."

It IS their money and it IS their choice. Last thing I'd want an operator to do is to take away control (the little I have) of my money. Seriously. Like do you EVER take insurance unless MAYBE you're holding 21? These are a PLAYER's choice; to deny either of these would not be accommodating to players who enjoy these features.

Process withdrawals in a timely manner, and that situation won't arise

If 7/10 withdrawals are reversed as you state then surely that just adds credence to the argument that casinos should be obliged to do everything that they can to help folk that could be subject to becoming problem gamblers?
Once a player gets used to the fact that they can not reverse they will readily except it and they will simply make sure that they are ready to hit that withdraw button before doing so?

I don't think people want the reversal option removed, they just want the payment team to process it within a reasonable time - i.e. 1 to 2 hours. If one casino can manage it, surely they all should be able to.

Give the player the option to lock withdrawals is the easy solution to that. Everybody is then catered for.

If you went to play bingo tonight in a land based bingo hall and you won £1000 would you like it if the floor assistant said "congratulations on your win unfortunately we cannot give you your £1000 tonight we don't pay out until Monday due to our payout policy but you can gamble it all for the rest of the evening and all weekend and if you have any left we will pay you out on Monday".

I used to work in a bingo hall and if you tried that on a bingo player you soon end up in hospital.

If you withdraw you have withdrawn your money, it should immediately be placed into a closed off area of your account and then paid back to your chosen method you made the decision to withdraw and this should be applied.
