Just over a week ago it was my birthday. Traditionally, my inbox is bursting with nice bits and pieces from casinos but this year it was sadly depleted.
Late evening I wondered if the new privacy email rules meant that I had bonuses added to my accounts but had not had the email so I went on a hunt at the top 5/10 places that I deposit and play at. Found 1 or 2 so thought it easier to quickly check with live help or drop an email... asking if they offered birthday bonuses.
These were not begging or pleading messages...just simply a query about their promotions.

Today I was shocked to receive this email from Will Hill:

Yes I am an over sensitive female,!who reads into things too much and suffers with a little paranoia so may be over reacting....

Then the next email from them is what has really made me turn into a raging crazy witch.....

I NEVER ask, and never have asked for anything free and rarely use live chat.

I had the age of gods promo break once due to a tech issue and was advised by their twitter feeds to other customers to ask in live help. This needed to be done every day to get each set of 10 fs.

They definitely read that as freebie-hunting, and have real trouble differentiating by the looks of it

Most casinos (used to) automatically give a birthday gift OR deposit bonus without sweat. Now asking for a mere bonus is an affront to their good name

Still, this is going to slowly become the norm anyway. Casinos don't care if you've deposited 20K over 12 years, loyalty is dead

I think this Gio bloke is on a wind up mission, he knew "i'd like to kindly ask that you don't contact our customer services team for free bets or bonuses going forward" would likely aggravate matters. I wonder what training casinos give to their customer advisers, writing sh*t like this is not going to help william hill retain customers, which is basically his job.

Who is doing who a favour here? It’s like I should be honoured to be allowed to play at their shitty, disorganised and bad mannered staff run casino!
Their UKGC fine hasn’t taught them anything. I am not surprised that they were one of the first casinos in the firing line.
Even now they still have major inequalities in treatment of customers, they still have loopholes that less honourable customers exploit and they still need to streamline their various branches.

If it wasn’t for them many daily offers that are built outside I would close my account in a heartbeat. But then would I contact live chat to do so?

given willhill l are the ONLY casino who run daily promos and give free bonus. we shouldnt take it for granted asking for free stuff off them on top of it.

This heat is addling my brain and judgement.
It's ok man, nothing wrong with a bit of research

As some members will tell you, infatuation can go too far and end with me constantly being caught licking windows, a la @geordiecolin
