With the UKGC using take down requests at Google to target a vast number of 'not on gamstop' affiliate sites and operator sites, we are interested to know where you are now seeing 'Not on Gamstop' ads appearing. The logical progression if the Google traffic is drying up is for these ads to appear more on:
  • Social media
  • Porn sites
  • Anime sites
  • Streaming sites
  • illegal sites
As of 6th May 2025, this is what a Google search in the UK shows, with plenty of unlicensed casinos accessible through these pages

Oh, I should be very very clear, please do not post explicit content in this thread or anywhere else on Casinomeister. If you do wish to share a screenshot of where you are seeing these ads, then please blank out any graphic content - the rules of the forum still apply, regardless of whether you thought it was a useful contribution.

Note that accompanied these screenshots:

Pornsites like xhamster regularly showing not on Gamstop ads on homepage and on video content. Ads often have a voice over saying "Not on Gamstop casino, get 350 free spins and 1 special spin"

It links to a casino (we wont mention the name, but it is not licensed in the UK) , with content that looks very similar to Pragmatic Play content - with the Big Bass Fisherman.

I fully support the intentions but isn’t this thread merely drawing more attention to these sites? Please don’t include URLs to the offending sites and give them more coverage on here!! @conker

I think, following every advert for Casinos on TV, there should be a Gamstop advert and it should list the amount of players that have quit and/or had their lives wrecked by online gambling.
Like the warnings on cigarette packs I suspect the net effect might not be as significant as desired, probably still worth doing though.

I wonder why :)

If licensed in Malta, it is not allowed to advertise on porn sites with gambling ads.

Hi @Mark_Lottomart thanks for sharing your concerns, the additional exclamation marks made sure they were heard loud and clear.

The name of the 'not on gamstop' casino has been removed and also blanked out from the image. You are correct, it does not make sense to parade any of these outfits on a forum like Casinomeister.

However, this forum is possibly the only place on the internet that is willing to highlight this shameful behaviour. Targeting self excluded players is truly the 'bottom feeders' of society. These are players that have said 'enough is enough, I need help and I need to stop'. And yet there are companies (if you can call them that) that want to take whatever they have left. It's a shameful business.

The UKGC visits this forum, on occasion. Pragmatic Play visits this forum. So, this thread actually holds some relevance, as it highlights a real issue, affecting real people, and hurts every single person that works in this industry. Where do you think all the Dailymail and Guardian stories come from? Many come from players that have had everything taken from them.

So, for anyone else that would like to contribute to this discussion, anonymously if necessary, then the thread will stay open, but please don't show or add any links to 'not on gamstop' casinos.

Thank you and apologies, the double exclamation mark wasn't intentional. Appreciate your prompt attention.

What is your stance on UK streamers/affiliates listing L&L brands on the same website as unlicenced or crypto sites?

I've noticed quite a few recently.
This was an old issue we had a few years ago, a bit of a hoo-hah on the forum with casino reps who unknowingly had their affiliates displaying their legit ads alongside unlicensed or scam casinos. IIRC many aff accounts were shut, but I would confidently suggest in today's climate and gambling landscape the reaction could be slightly different.

Overregulations is causing a black market growth, therefore affiliates listing both solution is fine for me. Preferably in seperate lists / pages though so that a visitor can be well aware.

It's also inevitable, any affiliate should be able to provide a solution for its traffic is my stance but in a clear way. Like suggested above.

check teams!!

PS. Sorry for double exclamation mark.

I don't see those ads, but i know a few places where you can check who's running them. For example, you can look in the Meta Ad Library or check for active ads published through Google services. There are also ad tools/spies but they're paid.

That Pragmatic one below isn't a real one, somebody just created a profile with the company's name and logo, and now runs that non-gamstop shite.

Thanks @Guntis, struggling to get over how blatant this all is. I had to go look into top left, as at first glance it looks like Pragmatic Play's own Facebook account.

However, it isn't PP, it is someone using their brand as cover. The link in the profile is a tinyurl which sends you off to yet another 'not on gamstop casino'. And whoever this is appears to be running this promos day in day out with Pragmatic, Novomatic, Netent branded artwork.

For those involved, I bet they can't believe just how easy it all is.

I see these ads when scrolling through the random shorts based on your likes on Youtube. I watch Bandit and Stop N Step, so I'm guessing their Ad's algorithms give me any gambling ones. Some are places like 32 red, others though are very much not on gamstop ones.

Clearly predatory, cos I know peeps have commented in past on bandits vids (when he allowed comments) that they watched him, to stop them selves gambling.

Even worse in that the bandit very much used to promote gamstop and similar.
