What's Ya Weather At?

My garden is loving the mild weather still. Got a ton of hot peppers still coming. I grew a Sugar Rush Peach this year, huge plant with tons of peppers still trying to ripen. I can usually keep them going until Nov, covering at night if frost is expected.
i cant believe mums are thriving mid oct

Temp here is stuck moving between 0ºC and 1ºC for the last couple of days.
Not a good place to stop at.

When its stuck moving between 0ºC and 1ºC instead of rain or snow you get snowrain.
Snowrain combines the worst parts of snow and rain and it is very likely that it is the worst type of weather that exists on this planet.

Outstanding weather today in Malta. Shame I cannot go and have a swim due to strong presence of white sharks offshore.
You pussy! How else are they going to get their mid-morning snack? :D

I confess - I haven't been in the ocean for years, even though I lived 5 mins away from the South Pacific and all those beautiful beaches. Although shark attacks are not that common, they seem to be happening more and more frequently, and there have been a few deaths in my local area. That was enough to scare - or scar - me for life.

@ladyhawke - Well, they have already attempted to chop off one of my extremities and I am not willing to take such a risk again.

Crikey, looks like a Scottish weather forecast for summer.

Yeah it was harsh back then, but now its warm again and its back to sunshine and margaritas
Hard to believe it used to be just 1°C when you look at todays weather.

I was hoping for -5°C to -10°C so we could start getting some snow, but if the forecast is accurate the next two weeks will instead be 6-7°C.

weird week, snowed, then 2 days later was 18 degrees lol
Anywho, figured get the deocs up before a brutal snow squall - didnt feel bad, neighbours have theirs up already (and they go mad nuts)
Nothing impressive, only got 2 hands, but good enough
doggo in the first frame
Tried to a vid, but wouldnt load, the tree lights flash, the garage spreads in a pattern and the deck cascades in 'meteoric' fashion

It blew my mind to find out that most of Canada's population lives further South than a lot of the population of the USA.

About 70 percent of all Canadians live south of the 49th Parallel, the imaginary line that forms most of the border between Canada and the US. Even more upsetting for the Canucks' image — most Canadians live farther south than all the people who live in Washington, Montana, North Dakota, and, of course, Alaska

lol, a lot of unforgiving wasteland up there; very few want to move that north....even what many of us think of as 'north' is still southern Canada :D

Just had the gutter come and land in the back garden, trouble is it's not mine lol. Going on a missing gutter hunt in the morning to find its owner..
lol, same, in a sense - there's a tarp in my yard; gotta ask neighbours either side who lost one

it's been...eerie
was 14 the other day and pluses all week; very, springy outside and no snow
mad, wicked wind storms though, not US tornado style but I'm sure a few squirrels lost a home or 2 the way the trees are bent

just...utterly bizarre out there
16 degrees
we have summer days that are cooler
Yeah, 14-15 in the UK at the mo. Cloudy in most places, but dry and mild.

Some awful minus twenties and wicked winds.
Been a stray cat around (well, no, he has an owner, just an asshole who leaves him out all night at these temps)

Anyway, doggos barely go out - too cold on paws for one and the salt hurts both.
Feel bad for the outdoor cat, bought him two big ass heating dishes and the garage is open a few inches - it isnt any warmer in there but it's out of the elements

Lol, the pain is real
One of my best friends had texted/posted
spent 90 min to shovel the drive to be filled back in (as shovelling)

Me?
Pfft, I dont shovel my drive lol; I KNOW it'll be filled back in

I shovel mine.

I shovel mine plus the sidewalk and front stairs and walk. Takes me a couple hours but we don't get much snow out West. Except recently. And yup, snow plow partially filled it back in. Nothing compares to the years I lived in Alberta though. I shovelled enough for 10 lifetimes there.

I have seen it snow every month of the year there. For realz.

Lol. To be clear, I don't live in Alberta anymore. You're in Ontario right? My uncle lives there - a few hours north of Toronto. He gets a craaaazy amount of snow. Where I live now, it's more like this when it snows.?

And this. ? A real photo form my area of someone trying to drive a Lamborghini in the snow. Note the "N" sticker. It means New/Novice driver or "N" for nuisance - depending on the driver. :p

Ya, ON is rough
Better than BC
Not as rough as AB :)

Hadn't really followed the weather prophecies as of late. Thought it seemed a bit brisk out today, now that it's evening I hear what sounds like Armageddon kicking off outside!

Windows are whistling, doors are clapping, we got ourselves our own f**ing carnival. Up until I hear that 'Storm Dudley' - yes we attribute the dumbest names to these things, always - was wreaking havoc round these 'ere parts. But more importantly, on our neighbour's lawn, which is being utterly wrecked :D

But as for now, it's all good. Just a bit draughty. Cheers, Dudley! ya pr*ck
