What's the worst thing you've done when a feature has paid nothing/very little?

I smashed my own car up once, but that was after an incredibly bad night on AWPs in the pub rather than online slots. (And it was also a looooong time ago, must be thirteen years or more since that fateful night.)

I've only been playing online for about five and a half years so had grown out of such shenanigans before I started, I think the worst I've ever had is when I blew £1000 at 32Red in a drunken evening (that was very early on in my online gambling career, before I really understood anything about how random slots work and variance and sensible stakes and all that stuff) - rather than smash anything up I just knocked myself the fuck out with a couple of tamazepams and welcomed the cold embrace and oblivion of drugged sleep.

Fielding the calls from my bank's fraud department the next day due to the unusual activity on my account was fun.

More recently the worst I've done is just swear a lot, as viewers of my (now defunct) YouTube channel will attest to :D
 
I literarly once broke my laptop as I smashed so hard on the keyboard my laptop crashed and would not start up anymore...
Day after I checked it and I just hit it so hard I broke the whole friggin HD in it LOL...
This is a long time ago also,had a serious bad beat at a certain online casino and when I finally managed to get a bonus (on a I believe €5.00 spin) it paid me 2,5x stake...That was just the final straw that night... :D

After that experience I learned not to break my own stuff and it stays closely to a bit of cursing at the slot (like that helps) LOL... :D

That's the crazy thing about smashing your own stuff up, not only are you left with the rage that got you so wound up in the first place, you've also now got a load of broken shit that'll need replacing, which is even more annoying! :D
 
An advice to the 2 previous posters and anyone inclined to react physically to their computer.

Never , ever play GOLDBEARD OR MYSTIC DRAGON

Its one in about 3 trillion you will get even 5 times bet .

I don't react that way, I just swear and vow never to playt those games again BUT I still do each and every f%^&%ng time i go online.

Doing the same thing over and over and getting the same results and still continue to do it!!

So I am insane!! although I have never played slots in a B&M casino until online casino was introduced. unfortunatley\, in the beginning I did get some great wins esp at Cherry Red the now defunct sasino

Yeah and also you end up with a big loss,I think mine was about 1500 Euro that night but also a broken laptop which needed a new HD which obviously costs money and afterwards the time to re-install all your stuff... :p:p
 
For me it is just cursing, swearing and shouting when again these netent slots from hell are totally ripping me off.

Once I broke the remote control, I broke the laptops's fan because I hit it too hard in an outburst and once I was so pissed with the slots at 3dice I closed my account for life. I regret that decision the morning after but on the other hand maybe it was for the best anyway...:rolleyes:
 
Well I usally say "wow" "really" and "what a shock..."

But sometimes you make bad decisions like I did when I played at 32red. Deposit like 40€ and got 100% deposit bonus played with 80€ on the playboy slot on lowest bet (0,30€) Didn't get anything made a new deposit of 100€ and raised my bet to 0,60€ got the bonus and won like 2€ something (lost it all btw).


So avoid getting pissed (easier said then done I know) or you will end up deposit even more.
 
I've actually come to expect getting nothing from bonus features/free spins. So when I do indeed get something good, I'm ecstatic. Slotronomicon frequently pays from zero up to five times your bet, but it triggers more frequently than any other slot I know of, by design, and so the zero bonus rounds help average out the RTP % in contrast to the 60x, 100x and occasionally 200x bonus rounds.

Low paying bonus rounds are standard on RTG and Rival, as well, so it's just part of the slot game. Not sure why anyone would get especially angry or boisterous about it.
 
Never broke anything. I always keep in mind that the slots aren't compensated, so it's not because I didn't get the feature in the last 700 spins that the next one will pay.

I noticed that most people get pissed off because in the back of their mind, they have that old belief that the slots are "due" to pay. Once you fully understand that after 100 dead spins you have the exact same chance to win on your next spin that you had on your very first spin, you don't get pissed off.
 
I was over a friend's house. I used her laptop. I was playing at Go Wild casino. She was downstairs watching television. When all of a sudden her laptop come flying down the stairs. It hit the floor and broke into pieces. Yes I throw her laptop down the stairs in a raging fit. She only had the laptop for about 2 weeks. :mad: I apologized, and then went to the public library to continue my bonus wager there.

My favourite bit about that is the last sentence.

At least you got your bonus wagering finished - that's the important thing.

I don't think I've ever managed more than a cursory 'tut' and rolling of the eyes. Ok, maybe an expletive or two - nothing has ever been damaged as far as I'm aware.

Smashed up cars and laptops is awesome. Good work!
 
This thread reminds me of the video someone posted awhile back about the guy walking into that place with an axe and busting up all the slot machines. :eek2:

I think the worst thing I've ever done is get disgusted and jack my bet up and lose my remaining balance quickly. I've also uninstalled casinos in a fit of crybaby-ness and posted at casinomeister boohooing about my (long) losing streak. :o

I just pat my laptop on the back of the screen and soothingly say after the crap bonus "Don't worry, I forgive you."

Then I eat some cheese and feed the parrot some tissues and fuses.
 
I had been waiting for a feature to hit whilst betting 1.60 on Goldbeard and when it got too low I went to .20 cents and it paid a whopping .58 cents after playing it down from 300.00, I was pissed!!!!

It was then I shouted,"You lousey no good for nothing Son of a bitch " My late husband Jim turned around and said , " Well your a Bitch too Laurie", I have never forgotten that as it was then I got him into playing with me, on slots that is:D

Cussing bad when its really a frustrating feature outcome, like 1 x the bet amount. But I feel like smashing the screen when I dare to make "a last" doubling in VP and pick a 2 against the dealers 3.

I dont think ive acted out yet, since i mostly low roll there's not much frustration.

One thing i do recall from a couple years back tho, is me picking up a ps3 controller, swinging it overhead like a lasso, and smashing it into a thousand pieces against the wall. I'd been trying to beat a boss for 3 hours, then i had an almost perfect round. he had 1 HP left and inflicted a critical hit :D
 
a few times that I've gone like 800-1000 spins without any bonus or feature i've kept on depositing in the hope that it'll pay up, of course it never does!! Wish I could just shut down my laptop and try again the next day or week instead of chasing the losses blindly.....
 
More often than not, the feature that you get after a long drought pays only peanuts. You have high expectations on the payout from the feature simply because subconsciously you hope to be repaid all that you lost in getting that feature. Must learn to lower your expectations of a huge payout from the feature especially after a long drought and simply take it in your stride. Over time and tens of thousands of spins things will even out due to the TRTP.

I agree with you. But it can work sometimes, and you will land a hit that instantly puts you in the plus. Not saying anyone should chase that but ive seen it plenty of times, and afterwards i was really happy that i decided to deposit that last 20.

Lol! I've played this game before and your right it does suck the bonus hardly ever drops in and when it does it might return half your bet. I don't know how you managed to play it for so long ;)
 
Let's see....to be honest I have done nothing harmful or dumb at all if the slots feature failed to pay a decent sum or ended up being totally dissapointing.

I have smashed a few laptop monitors though after the recurring bad beats during late tournament stages in online poker or when losing out on a major sum of money in the 94rd minute of a soccer game. But it in the end it's all dumb and stupid behavior of course, if you consider it only ends up costing you more lol

I had at least 3 laptop screens replaced, but this was years ago. So I think I finally learnt to be cool regardless of the dissapointment.

Thing is, when you've never had the feature, plus there's no preview, there's that 'lure of the unknown', especially as the feature description promises something that could be great in theory (in this case a tiger that walks over the reels during free spins creating wilds with its feet like Jacko in the Billie Jean video).

Thanks for letting me know the feature is garbage, Mark. That will stop me getting the urge to load it back up on the pretext of 'unfinished business' or some other daft fallacy.

I agree with you. I think after a while of repeatedly getting screwed over online you just get used to it. Video games are cheaper and they last longer with more replay value. Stick to that you'll get better value for your money entertainment wise :)

Yes your not missing out on much even with the extra wilds if the game dosent want to return anything then it won't and will just return a whole lot of dead spins.

Yes the lure of the unknown I'm only to familiar with this playing MG slots. But when the features rarely pop up with poor returns well you start to wish MG had a feature preview like Netent games do. I understand.

- 1 private laptio screen which I just bought (learned flying :eek2:)
- 1 Ipad3 (surprise, it learned flying)
- blackberry from work lost its battery while flying
- brand new wireless IR-Headphone (stupid idea wearing this on your head while gambling)

I´m sure there was more! But these are the main-items


Its like, that they (my expensive hardware) deserved it... after I destroyed one, I was like :lolup: ..... :o .... :confused: .... :eek: .... :sob:

Now, while gambling, I just have my punching bag NEXT to me! :poke:

You need to find a less violent outlet. I've never broken anything on account of a slot game.

'Course with the balcony door open the neighbours probably think I have Tourette's.
 
I don't think I'v ever broken anything as a result of a bad feature they happen so often I wouldn't have anything left ;)

I do swear at the computer quite a bit though and roll my eyes. I'm surprised I don't get eye strain.

I don't deposit enough to get annoyed when I lose. That's the best way to avoid being disappointed deposit small. That way when you lose which for me happens all the time you've deposited so little it dosent even matter actually the joke is on the game "since your not paying I'm not depositing" or at least I like to think it is :cool:
