So, if you hit a substantial win (and substantial is relative, so, whether it's $200 or 2K, that's fine), what are you hoping to buy yourself?

I need a new bed and chair, so if I hit 2K, thats where that's going.
Around $500, I'll probably knock off some early Xmas shopping.
A couple hundred, I want to stock the bar for the holidays.

How about you?

We're going to be (hopefully) buying the house we're living in so any kind of windfall would be a huge help towards that. Would be nice to have some extra to do some long overdue renovations too. Or better yet, have enough to buy a better place that doesn't need renos!

New dishwasher... honestly they really don't cost all that much...

I was going to buy a dishwasher with winnings last year, BUT suddenly 40 feet of yard needed digging and sewer pipes replaced taking whatever 'extra' money we had put back for frivolous things - and then some. The couple of little cash outs I had this year - same thing - planned to buy a dishwasher as soon as that latest check had time to clear, BUT the termite man will take that.

Oh, the joys of owning your own shack....

It's not that I really NEED a dishwasher, the one I have (26 years old) works, but it doesn't clean worth a darn, is noisy, buttons are loose, rinse aid dispenser doesn't work, etc., etc., and really, I only use it 2 or 3 times a month now... so it's just one of those little convenience things that would be nice to replace that doesn't cost a fortune.

I think right after xmas is the time to get the best games and electronics - but the hampers too, then you can pay small monthly increments on it for the following xmas

I agree. I stock up on Christmas confectionary stockings the day after Xmas. I'm a junk food junkie I do the same thing the day after Easter as well.

And maybe one of those new fangled telephones you can take with you wherever you go and where you can do stuff just by touching the screen!

lol, well, we've the one 42", i want the 2nd for xmas for my room and work (mom's buying it, will likely pick one out come black friday).
I'm with you on the phone - I have a cell, but it pretty much collects dust. As long as it rings, it's pretty much good enough for me

I defo need a new car,my Ford Focus is getting rusty although I love this car.
So when hitting a nice win I would love to trade in my car for a better one.

And we need new beds for our girls as the ones they have start to get a bit on the small side so those would be bought right away,which will be done anyway but with a nice win it would be happy shopping.

The Euromillions is 100 million€ tonight so we all threw in €2.00 at work and we ended up with €100 worth of Euromillions tickets.

When I get lucky I try to spend it on the family as I know the funds are better served on them as I usually have what I need already, winning millions is another question but the same would apply in theory, taxation rules would need the cute intervention of a lawyer and counseling on the fact that even as a millionaire trying to hit big on DOA may not be possible!

Hey, I still have a CRT in the bedroom. I had one in the living room right up until I plugged my computer into it to use it as a dual monitor for surfing and watching movies from my computer on the couch. Then I found out that CRT actually stands for Can't Read Text. So I broke down and got one I could plug in with an HDMI cable. Now I can read what I'm clicking.

What would I do if I won lots of money? I might hire a maid since dating one never seems to pan out.

I called Molly Maid. "I'm single and I was wondering if you had any women there who might be looking for a casual relationship that like to clean and have their own transportation and supplies."

In the last 2 weeks i have built my withraws minus deposits up to 3k so if i can get another 2k i'm buyin a new car

if i had a giant win

lets see if i hit anything over 5 grand i would go on one of those deluxe cruses upgrade everything in my pc apart from the fastest part the ssd buy my oldest son a hammer and i iPhone the hammer is to smash the iPhone ......if i won anything over 15k it would be a trip to vegas so far i have never won over 6k in one win had many at 2 and 3 in aussie venues and lots of 1k cashouts online i think my fav was a 15 cent bet took out the venue wide jackpot and beat the group that comes in at less than ten to go time basicly they all come in at once take up every available linked jackpot machine for there boss and bet $5 plus a spin.. the jackpot had to go of between 4500 and 5000 i hit at 4993 ...you know it going to go when they all rock up at once lol excuse my long ranting this is post coffee
