Say I have $100...I usually split it up between a few casinos, but is that the way to do it? I see so many people say "I only deposited $20-$50 and hit big.

Would it be better to deposit it all in one casino?

Also, if you lose at one casino, do you generally try another casino right after (or even the same casino) or wait a few hours or a day?

If I just have $100 to spend for a weekend or few days, then most definately thats going to be 4 deposits for me. I always look for large bonuses so I know I will have a decent bankroll to start. (You can almost always find a 150%-300% bonus at BetOnSoft casinos), but usually 3Dice will get one of those deposits so in case I win I will get instant gratification:D

If I lose at one casino, I will most likely do the worst possible thing: deposit a slightly larger amount to chase my loss. However I have tried to get better about this by making all my deposits at one time, and then playing each one so I wont be tempted.

Some people might like to just put the $100 in one casino, take no bonus, and reach for the stars. This never works for me though. Every single one of my cashouts of $1,000+ this year (I think there were 6) came from a deposit of $40 or less.

Very interesting, Funeral.

So the $40 or less deposits all had bonuses attached to them?

Hi Just Play

Interesting question. For me it depends a bit on my mood. I think I always intend to break it up into more than one deposit (generally I would break $100 into two $50.00 deposits. $150 would be three deposits at my 3 favourite casinos). Sometimes however I deposit at one casino and get pissy that I didn't win and then deposit again at that casino  (my bad). I know what you mean with this question though, as I ask myself that each time I have a certain amount. I guess for me it's that I like to play for fun so like some variety. It's nice if I win though :D.

I used to deposit for the bonuses but as most casinos now dont allow play through on BJ, I dont bother chasing bonuses anymore, and I have rarely cashed out even with a bonus in the last 8 years. The handful of times I have done have been the times when I have just made a deposit and had a good run.

Now I just stick to the one casino which my gut and eyes says is giving me an honest game from start to finish. So far they haven't "flipped the switch" to make me lose all the time with completely unreasonable hands.

I normally split up my deposits - if I play my first at MG and it sucks, I get disgusted with MG and try RTG or Playtech or 3Dice. If I play at RTG first and do ok I make another deposit at a different RTG - until I get disgusted there, then I try MG or Playtech.

I agree with Chayton. If you make several smaller deposits you get much more disgust for your money.

It's a question of value.

No, leave it here and lets all give the opposite answers we did in the first one.

Just to screw with people's heads.

split it up prolly no more than x3

I would definately split it up in 4x 25.- or even 5x 20.-

Most of my winning sessions (which have been non-existent for the past 2 months) start almost immediatly, sometimes even from the first spin.

Once a losing streak kicks in, I hardly ever recover after losing half of my balance. I think casino's can be 'dead', no matter what everybody believes.

Small deposits can lead to large cashouts.
Large deposits usually lead to large losses.
