I think I used to work for that man... or perhaps his twin... He launched a huge stainless steel salad bowl (filled with salad) over and out the window where we (wait staff) picked up orders, into the restaurant, aiming at one of the waiters, barely missing him... cursing in English and sometimes Italian... (I think it was). More banging pots and pans... throwing more crap out into the restaurant... It was 7 p.m. and packed... (Usually he had his hissy fits before the dinner customers began coming in.) All the cutomers got up and left... some leaving money on the table... some not...

I walked out... almost everyone quit... The place shut down 2 months later.

Rightly so, too - guys like that who can't control themselves don't deserve to be in authority over others or successful in business.

I guess it all comes down to them getting away with it a few times and becoming increasingly arrogant and undisciplined as a result.
