Western Union Casinos

ngb1959

Newbie member
Since Grand Prive no longer accepts western union deposits, does anyone know any other casinos that accept western union?

Thanks.

Nina

Since Grand Prive no longer accepts western union deposits,

When did this take effect ngb1959?

Edited to add - although I haven't used it myself, 32RED last time I checked accepted WU deposits. If you go to their website, and I think check out the banking page, it gives all necessary details there. Only drawback is that they can only be processed and credited during certain times.

As far as MG casinos go, 32Red is the only one that accepts WU.

Many RTG's do, including Breakway/Sci Fi & Grand Aces/Geisha Lounge

Although I haven't gambled at any Playtechs in awhile, im pretty sure the Main Street group all still accept WU (Twin Aces, Slots.com, Las Vegas USA, Diamond Deal Casino, etc.)

You can search through casinos by deposit method at the site listed in my signature, there are 48 online casinos we have found that take Western Union.

Some of the first that come up are:

Ladbrokes
William Hill
Lucky Coin
King Solomon's

If you are going to do Western Union, why not just fund an ECO card? Lots of places take those..... Just an idea. :) Good luck!!!

If you contact the casino, most accept WesternUnion eventhough they do not advertise it. Western Union does not want to be associated with on-line gamming and threatens the casinos who openly advertise them. So best case just ask the casino.

Vegas7 also accepts WU as a depoist, and the nice thing is that you can use your cc to send the WU, just do it online :)

I just called them and Vegas7 does NOT take w.u. deposits. They must have changed their policy or something.

ECO card doesn't take w.u. any more....don't know why, but they don't.

Thanks everyone for the info.

It looks like Western Union is stopping use of its service in the online casino industry. Spotsbooks-casinos like Ladbrokes and William Hill seem unaffected though. If you are looking at at alternative to fund casino accounts I can warmly recommended opening using the e-wallet NETeller. You can use NETeller at 99% of all online casinos.

FYI - I received this information from Ladbrokes..

Unfortunately at present we are unable to accept online registrations
from customers who are resident in the USA or its territories.

Ladbrokes have taken extensive legal advice regarding the legality of
providing online gaming services to account registrations originating
from the USA. Whilst the matter is - unsurprisingly - not entirely
clearcut, the current consensus view is that telephone and internet
sports betting is illegal under existing federal (and most state)
legislation and gaming may be illegal (although the latter is subject
to
some debate by lawyers and other interested parties it is certainly the
view that the Department of Justice take).

If this were to be the case, we would commit a criminal offence should
we accept bets over the telephone or internet. This is not a risk
that,
for a number of corporate reasons - including the fact we have business
interests and assets in the US, the very high costs of litigation and
the fact that we are a very well known brand and therefore possibly
more
likely to be used as an example - we are currently prepared to take.

We hope this clarifies the matter for you and should the legal
situation
change then we would be happy to accept online transactions from
customers such as yourself.

Yours sincerely,

WU casinos

Vegas7 may just accept western union deposits from VIP players because i just got a email from them last month that they where accepting WU deposits again.

ECO card is a great idea except for the fact that they are not accepting WU deposits right now. I do beleive that Payspark accepts WU deposits. The only thing with ECO or Payspark is that you have to wait a few days for them to credit the WU to your account.
