This is a warning to my Canadian friends.

Do not cashout via bank withdraw at slots millions. I was charged a $210 fee on the cashout.

Speaking with my bank to see if this is in error. So may want to watch out

:mad:

Edit: Bank said it was an error but am still charged $60 from the euro to CAD conversion slotsmillion now uses.

So its prob a good idea to use ecopayz instead of bank withdraw.

gods id hope its an error - everytime anywhere where bank wd fees apply its always been 40 bucks with my bank

seems like a scam actually. Im on the phone with my bank and they said since slotsmillion sent it in euro by the time it reached them the market changes and once it was converted that was the fee LOL.

They sent the cashout today and it arrived today so how much did the market fluctuate ..lol come on now

Told first line support uh no....let me speak to management so im on hold

Last time I cashed out $1500 from them I did get charged $112. This cashout was a couple hundred less so shouldnt be that damn much

still using bankwire is not good since they send it in euro regardless

ouch, ya seems like bs to me too
I wd every month and no matter the wd amount ( i have free wds) it's just the 40 from my bank side for the international transfer - and id imagine other banks are cheaper though im happy with my bank overall.
I'd go ballistic i got dinged that much.

Are you cashing out from slotsmillion though? Any casino that sends it in euro we have to watch out for cause those friggen currency fees. Energy casino is the same, they changed to the euro system and I havent played there since.

And you get $40 in fees? Damn! I get charged $18 overall from caddel cashouts to my PC financial accounts ..and if its scotia I get $15

TD here - ya, I could probably get better rates - when I move this May I'll look into a secondary acc to WD to if theyre that low.
No, havent from SM. Every casino I've WDed from (GUTS, BA, 32Red) my acct is in CAD and if i WD 1250 I get 1210 (minus the 40 bank fee).

Sounds like the banks are ripping you off - this is because it sounds like it's not a direct transfer with a currency conversion fee (like I was referring to in my case with the £7 fee) but there is an intermediary bank for Canadians so there is a second level of fees, hence your bank deducts twice.

International bank rates are killers. Even with CM contests for example, it costs more to send the money than the prize money itself lol

Actually, upon further research it would seem any payment from Europe to N.America WILL go through an intermediary bank, so will always be shafted with fees.

oh crap TD is def shafting you big time. Thats a hefty fee for sure. But yeah open up a gambling account maybe so you can get it much much cheaper!! hard to beat slots and crazy fees :D

They said it was a bank error which yeah right. they refunded it all but $60 and said that has to stay because the way slotsmillion sends it..euro to CAD conversion plus a bit for the international fee etc

$60 hurts but is much better than $212.98

So stick to ecopayz with slotsmillion instead of bank maybe

yep its true and with slotsmillion changing their banking to all euro when paying out, we now are getting currency conversion rates. The bank said after all fees are done including their fee, they add another $9 on to buy the currency. So in short another pocket gouging method ;p

It's weird - I tried to deppo wth Royal Panda - and while the acct is CAD it tried to convert to euro during the deposit process (and then i assume back to CAD.) Eesh.
Anywhere else, i deppo 100, get 100 in my acct. IWD 1k I get 1k (minus the 40)

The cashouts from casinos other than PlayOLG, Video Slots and Bet Victor will incur fees. Leo Vegas and Spin Rider took out $36 in fees. I haven’t played at Slots Million lately but they took $29 in fees back in 2016. These Euro casinos need to use Citadel like Video Slots do. What’s the point of depositing in casinos other than PlayOLG and Video Slots if you’re already down $36?

Well for me I get other perks I dont receive at PlayOLG (with their really shitty games selection) and VS' inane demands for CC scans when they have access to the BIN list and know it's a bloody prepaid from looking at the digits.
The $40 is a dinger but if I'm WDing say 1k, I still look at is as Im up $960 after the fees.

@dionysus

I’ve never cashed out $1000 ($800 is my record) and not everybody is trying to get $500 profit from their $50 or $100. These fees hurt those who want to quit up $100. I guess I should just keep playing until I get to $400 or more profit at other casinos other than PlayOLG or Video Slots.

oh,i agree the fees suck. Not enough to make playolg or vs my site of choice though.

Playnow isn't bad, I hate IGT slots but we have BTG, WMS etc... Interac deposits, no reverse option and always in my bank account with no fees in 36-48hrs.

@lockinlove

PlayOLG sucks compared to Espace Jeux and PlayNow (though they aren't popular here, either) but I'm 5-3-1 there in 2018 and up $377. I just hope they will have a better selection of slots eventually. Maybe Doug Ford Jr. will do something about it.
one free gram of hash every 3rd WD :D
