Non-Bonus Complaint Villa Fortuna check bounced

Yeah, I know. I told her. She didn't listen. My wife decided to play a bonus she was sent by snail mail at Villa Fortuna (betvillafortuna). I'm not sure how much it was, but she met the playthrough requirements, cashed out at $120.90. Submitted for payment by check. Got the confirmation email about the cashout, got the confirmation email that it had been sent, and then confirmed when she received the check. Deposited in our bank on 4/18 and on 4/20 it was returned NSF and the bank charged us a $12.00 fee.

She has written them this morning, told them about the returned check and fee. She has asked for a Western Union payment with the fee waived. Not sure what she should expect from them. It was on Bank of America out of Canada. This is serious stuff. They don't have the money to honor a $120 check or was the check, itself, fraudulent?

Will advise what happens when she hears from them. I know, and now she knows why, they are not endorsed here. This post is more of a warning to others who contemplated or did vote for CasinoMeister to do a baptism for this group.

Was it returned 'NSF' or was it blocked. 'BRP'?

I too have had checks bounce from that group but they always made it good. By far the most likely explanation is that the processor from that check got hit and it was no longer good. I'm sure they will make it good, I've never had a problem collecting from them, but they've bounced one or two checks and then sent to QT.

I just got off the phone with the bank and they said NSF. She doesn't have a QT account, but I do, so maybe they'll put it in there. Otherwise, she said no way she is taking payment by another check. She was strutting around here for a day or so with the "SEEEEE? I GOT PAID BY THEM!!" mantra. Now she is out on the pier doing target practice with her 32 on the unsuspecting pieces of floating driftwood.

Seems like with recently trying to get on the good side of CasinoMeister for a baptism by fire listing, that they would be careful of allowing things like this to happen.

My wife, Tillis, just got through sending one email, which had her going to live chat pretty quickly. Paul, in live chat, was helpful to her...wanting a copy of the returned check and bank statement showing the fees, and such so they could verify and find another way to pay. She had just left live chat, when our phone rang. It was (shes embarrassed that in her old age she can't remember his name ) ....however, he told her that the processor had cancelled many many checks and he was on the phone all this afternoon to reach the customers personally and re-issue their checks or pay through other means. He told her she would have her withdrawal by tomorrow. He was very respectful, and very aggrieved that this had happened.

I do believe they'll hold true to their word and pay her. At least now she is reading a book and has come in from shooting at driftwood and the occassional bream.

I'd gladly give 90c credit on the $ for any bounced checks, but I also doubt they will pay to another person's QT account. You just may have to get another check.
