Baptism by Fire - success Videoslots wants to join up!

Hi Lucas,

Harking back to the text message thing, I bit the bullet and entered my mobile number on the deposit screen last week. Twice actually. It said to enter the verification code it had sent me both times but nothing ever arrived. Might this be because I signed up with a false mobile number?

Cheers,

Simmo!

That could quite easily explain it. There are probably numerous poor buggers around the UK being bombarded with Videoslots' confirmation texts as we speak...:D

LOL yeah I know what you are getting at - but after you signed up, later in the depositing process it asks you to enter your mobile number again to get a verification code. Even if you put the right one in, the fact you signed up with a false one clearly upsets it reading Lucas's response below :p

Hi Simmo,

Yes, if you would like to deposit via card, then you would need to verify your mobile number. Yes, that's right. If you signed up with a false mobile number, then you can PM me your valid mobile phone number and i'll see to it that your number gets updated...

Thanks Lucas - but I still don't quite get why you can't do it via email as an option.

Probably.. I never enter a real phone number at casinos LOL :D

I don't understand what card deposits have to do with phone numbers?
I can't be found through my phone anywhere on the net anyway.

Maybe you have said the reason earlier in the thread Lucas but in that case please repeat :)

Hi Simmo, and Tirilej,

We had a lot of problems with chargebacks before. This option became available for us and we can actually see that the phone is in the correct country. We are working with ZignSec and now we have not had a single chargeback for a very long time. :)

This gives us better prices with VISA / Mastercard and that is the reason why we also can have free deposits, due to our low chargebacks %.

When the message is sent, we actually verify that the phone is in the specified country of the user. So if someone from Bulgaria got your details and tried to deposit, then our system would figure that out and block the transaction and user.

Furthermore, if a player is traveling and so will be in a different country from which the phone number is registered on, then the player can let our CS team know, and we’ll verify it for them given that it will be the actual player himself requesting this.

You can check out the ZignSec site here - >

Moreover, we feel that it's important for the customer to know, that we do everything we can in order to prevent identity theft which becomes a worse problem every day.

Thanks a lot.

Kind Regards,
Lucas

If you get a lower price from the card company I can understand the reason and everyone win on that.

What I don't believe is that it prevents a Swedish person from doing a chargeback since they can just change number the next day.
Most thieves here are working with using a new phone number each time they sell things so I know some about that at least.

Hi Tirilej,

For the last 18 months we have not had one single chargeback. So it's working for us.

When the fraudsters step up their game, then you can rest assured that we will do as well. ;)

Kind Regards,
Lucas

Good to know

...and I don't use cards for deposit and you already have my number :D
Maybe it's time to sign up too then.;)

Hi Simmo, and Tirilej,

We had a lot of problems with chargebacks before.

Hi Lucas

That seems like a good solution for credit cards but there is no need to apply it to debit cards as (to the best of my knowledge) you can't charge back on them.

Cheers

Simmo!

Yes, you can but the process is slightly different to CCards, you don't use section75 of the Con Cred Act.

Hi Simmo,

Yes, chargebacks can be also done on debit cards.

Best Regards,
Lucas

Hi dionysus,

That wouldn't be a problem. Should you want to make a deposit, please PM me here and we'll arrange for you so you will also be able to verify your deposit. ;)

Thanks a lot.

A thumbs-up for Videoslots from me :)

I've made a fair number of spins over the last three days (5436 of them according to the Casino Race Leaderboard) and haven't hit a single snag.

Registration was simple and straightforward.

Depositing with Neteller was fine.

Site design is excellent, very easy to navigate, great games selection, and in 5436 spins I haven't had a single timeout or disconnect across many different games/providers, and have seen just a handful of slow spins (which were 'slowish' rather than 'I wonder if it's going to timeout' slow).

I don't like the SUB design itself but it is very easy to track from the account management page so you know exactly where you're up to at all times, and getting £10 released as real cash every so often is quite nice.

We have an active rep here on the forums at CM which is always a big plus in my book, and hopefully Lucas will maintain this level of interaction with the community here.

Haven't submitted my docs or made a withdrawal yet, so I'll report back on how that goes when the time comes, although reports to date in this thread suggest it should be fine.

(I'm currently on my third deposit and am running at a loss overall, but I'm hopeful I'll see out the SUB with what I currently have in my balance, I'm not entirely sure what will happen if I forfeit the rest of the SUB and attempt to make a withdrawal now? Because it's released in 10% chunks I guess it's already been 'earned' so all balance should be available to withdraw but I'm not sure, maybe Lucas can clarify?)

One thing I would like to see is a master RTP list, some of the games list the RTP in their help files/paytables, but a lot of them don't, and personally I'd much rather see this information provided, if it's not included by the game provider themselves, it'd be nice to see the casino maintain their own page somewhere that players can refer to.

Overall a good casino to play at IMO, (probably one of the smoothest casino experiences I've ever had outside of a downloaded casino client), although I'll reserve final judgement until I've tested the doc verification and withdrawal process :)

No Chopley, it's not like Wintingo - you can't forfeit the SUB part way through and make a w/d at whatever stage you are at of redeeming it UNLESS you want to withdraw an amount equal to or less than your deposit and thus reset you a/c to zero. You can't make a profit on your deposit unless WR is completed. Weird I know but some sites won't let you make ANY w/d at all until WR is satisfied. Docs submission is a PoP - the client has a 'browse' button for each of the 3 you submit, and when you have submitted them it lists them as they are titled by you on your PC. Once verified, the titles disappear and you go to 'green' status on your profile. Took less than an hour for me. W/D's seem to take 10-30 minutes based on the two I've done.
I don't normally rave about new sites as I like finding fault being a cynical git, but I'm glad you agree in large with my observations. Smooth, easy with no glitches - as good as a Download Client as you say and I rate this one of the 3 best sites I've ever played at. Games selection is stupendous. And there doesn't seem to be MG AWP's there so we can keep Vinyl out! :D

P.S. You're smashing my a$$ on the leaderboard - I gotta hope when I get my cashback tomorrow I can stretch 3k+ spins from it to catch you. I seriously doubt it; my luck won't run and run ...

Hi ChopleyIOM,

Thanks a lot for your nice comments mate. We honestly greatly appreciate that. :)

With regards to forfeiting the rest of the bonus, and making a withdrawal – You may do that, and should be all fine. In the unlikely event that the withdrawal won’t work for you due to the fact of the bonus being forfeited, you may contact our customer support and let them know that I’ve referred you to them in order for them to sort it out for you. ;)

Furthermore, we will be having the RTP for each and every game soon, as it’s one feature that has already been in the pipeline. So I’ll keep you posted when that goes live too.

Thanks again mate, and I wish you all the best!

Feel free to PM me here or contact me via email / skype if you’ll need anything.

Kind Regards,
Lucas

Yes, that's correct dunover. As you've said that the earned bonus can be cashed out when the amount is equal to or less than the original deposit.

And thank you too, for your observations and nice comments mate.

Good luck to all in the race. ;)

Cheers!
Lucas

Just submitted my docs and they were approved within 35 minutes :)

I'm holding off on making a withdrawal for now, which is a decision I may come to regret as I could have escaped with £200 from £300 of deposits....

Currently not doing very well at all on a slot called 'ROYAL ROLLER' which has an intriguing bonus round whereby you basically get five shots at a Wild Desire sort of equivalent which can turn 1-4 reels wild out of reels 2-5. (A spin of a roulette wheel determines how many reels wild from 1 to 4 you get, then you get a spin with that number of wild reels, then it's back to the roulette wheel, and that process repeats five times.)

The pays in the base game are lamentable and it doesn't seem overly generous with the bonus round either, currently only seen one in 500 spins which paid 56x stake.

I am of course now determined to see it out to a decent bonus round.....

Hang on......

Yay literally as I'm typing it's just done 416x stake off my second bonus round, got the four reels wild and one of the better symbols on the first reel :)

OK I'll play back down to £200 and then I'll make a withdrawal, as I understand it as I've made £300 of deposits that's basically the maximum withdrawal I can make until I've completely unlocked the SUB. (Of course if I hit a monster in the meantime I'll play out the SUB completely to allow unlimited withdrawals.)

Quite an interesting slot but potentially a bit spicy, it seems to be bonus round or nothing, the base game is effectively incapable of any decent pays.

In the screenshots below the stacked '7' reels are wild, you don't see them at all outside of the bonus round.

Yes, you are correct as far as the W/D goes. That slot looks like the one Netent based 'Twinspin' sort of like Reel Steal ripped off BDBA.....

Nah it's got a very different feel to Twinspin, and of course the bonus round where you get five spins with guaranteed wilds is quite a different proposition too.

Give it a bash in free play, it's quite an interesting slot IMO.

I'd like to hear from Lucas as to what the T-RTP is (and indeed for all the slots where it isn't listed in the paytable or helpfile), I don't like playing slots where I don't know the T-RTP, it makes me twitchy.

Royal Roller is just a new skin for Mount Olympus: Revenge of Medusa, isnt it?

Hmmm well that didn't quite go according to plan, here are before and after screenshots of me using the 'FAIL BONUS' button, my balance went from £203 to £143, so losing the sum total of the SUB I'd unlocked up to that point (£60).

Is that behaviour as intended Lucas? My understanding was that I could forfeit unlocking any more of the SUB, but that which I'd already unlocked and therefore 'paid for' wouldn't be taken off as well?

The warning doesn't make it sound like I'd lose £60 of my balance just by pressing the button! My reading of that is that any winnings will be lost (of which there are none because I deposited £300 in total and was trying to withdraw just over £200), and that I can't get any more of the SUB.

(If you look in the top right hand corner of the first pic I have £203.09, then after pressing the fail bonus button I have £143.09.)

Aaarghhh...read the terms you've lost the whole 50 sub plus your free tenner it seems. Need to contact Lucas methinks.

But I've deposited three lots of £100, my SUB was £100 on the first deposit, which I unlocked £60 of, and then decided to forfeit the remaining £40 of the SUB, believing that I could still withdraw £200 of my deposits back out. (Which is what I thought I was clarifying with Lucas a little earlier in the thread!)

I don't see anything in that warning message telling me that pressing the 'FAIL BONUS' button would cost me £60.
