Dont think that players the benefit on it would like that change. It still gives out around 35 000 freespins per week.

Also you made a point of referencing the likely frustration that removing 'COS' would cause to the players who benefit the most. I am telling you that these specific players shouldn't be your 'only' concern. Do you disagree with this point?

I find it truly remarkable that you relentlessly persist digging yourself even deeper into the hole that you have put yourself in. Just think about the things that you keep posting. You are going to alienate a large portion of your player base yet you keep offering up these absurd soundbites.

Of course it would make a difference!! Unless of course you are suggesting that players never win anything notable from 'COS' rewards!!

If every penny counts as is being implied then savings can most certainly be made whilst maintaining (for the most part) the morale of your UK player base. You are shooting yourselves in the foot at every turn to the point where your staff are going to start overcrowding hospital amputation wards!!!!

Yes I disagree with you. You are inspiring me to help doing further cuts in battles and increasing the pool for COS :) Thanks for the eye openeer!

Could removing this not cover some of the cost of leaving the SnG payouts at 30% please?

35,000 x 4 = 140,000 which could be used to cover some of the battle weekend free spins if CoS was removed.

Also on top of this, if you take my idea on board to run a 36h battle weekend (6am GMT - 12 midnight Sat & Sun) and also 3 hour SnG on Thursdays, these costs would be covered and you could still run everything without dropping below 30%, SnG payouts and upsetting lots of like minded low rollers (but also loyal "bread and butter" type customers.

I appreciate you're experienced casino operators and have meetings about this sort of thing, however remembering "without our customers......." I feel you should in future maybe consult the wealth of experience via this website to consult us and say ......

"This has got to happen in the future, due to xxx reason, how can we best go about this" thus informing you user base (or a big portion of it) of changes ahead, that they cannot be avoided BUT get sensible and valuable input about the best way of implementing the changes.

*This post is meant to come across as suggestions, nothing more and no nastiness at all.

**Whilst you are here also Mr WIld, are you as far as you are aware, staying available to us UK players please?

Only 25% of our players play battles. So dont make sense removing promotions from real money play to move to battles.

My case re: CoS was due to its seemingly poor popularity. I will be honest and admit, I was thinking along the lines of stretching the promotions budget and didn't stop to think of this as a real money / wagering based promotion.

May be being slightly defensive here for no need but for the record, I do not look to play as cheaply as possible. I have a small but set budget which I stick to but only use the whole of it at Videoslots so do consider myself to be a loyal depositing customer, I get that there are "freebie hunters" aplenty out there but 100% I am not one of them!

FWIW, I preferred the weekly casino "race" of old. I used to get £5ish in that every week lol :p

One more point I wish to make as dealing with you people just seems to be an exercise in futility.

I made a suggestion yesterday that is both logical and actionable. If (as you say) you aren't seeding battles with dummy players then prove it. Implement a kick system for idling players. If a player registers then doesn't get going inside 3-4 minutes then kick them. They are not being expelled indefinitely from the event. It simply means that this person inefficiently managed their time and missed a small opportunity. An opportunity that could and should be repeated every few minutes.

I don't give a toss if they forgot or didn't receive a pop-up. Personal responsibility is what matters and these non-spinners (real or fake) shouldn't be given carte blanche to spoil the experience for the majority who are itching to earn as many rewards as they can. Giving them more time to do nothing is the most ridiculous solution you could have concoted. I will prove it following Thursday's event when I highlight the percentage of non-spinners who don't even begin their spins.

I was late recognising an epic Thursday event a while back and as a result I missed half of it. Other players shouldn't be indirectly impacted by this because as is crystal clear, it was entirely my own fault. Very similar principle here.

Like I said previously, make it make sense for crying out loud. If you make no inroads with regard to the curse of non-spinners (soon) and simply present yourselves as accepting of it, well this will essentially validate the claim that I made and that is that the majority of Thursday battles are loaded with non-human profiles.

Your future actions will define you in my eyes.

It's not about making friends. I have scanned just a small percentage of this thread yet VS reps persistently evade, ignore, and gaslight players. It is blatant and never ending and it is esssentially what inspired me to sign up.

I was simply trying to help by holding them to account but (as it appears) if I am alone in my observations I will refrain from clogging up the forum with any further posts.

They will continue to give vague (if any) responses going forwards though. I apologise to anyone who feels that I am more of a hindrance than a help.

I'll take a step back I guess....

I only go about it this way because I am tired of seeing them ignore questions that others have posted. There comes a point where ignorance simply shouldn't be tolerated.

My personal belief is that this isnt a decision made overnight, and VS/Mr Wild should have been clear a month ago that these changes were coming on board.
This would have at least given customers the option of not trying to get the 1000 XP ( which isnt free to get) as there will be less reward with it each month now.
I dont play at VS anymore, it was never the luckiest of sites for me and most of my play now is at other sites, not for rewards but for playing time with my deposits ( and occasionally they throw in the odd reward).
Just my thoughts and everyone who plays/has played at VS has the right to an opinion on this.

All offers are not to all player’s liking. However we do have players that get quite some FS each week from COS.
UK is a large market for us and we have no intention on leaving. It’s actually the market that is growing fastest for us but more on our other brand.
Unfortunately we cannot have battles as giving as before and that is because it’s not sustainable in the current market environment. Cuts have to be made and the choice was to do it in battle and not other promotions.

Every business has to change with the times to make it profitable. The UKGC is mainly to blame for the cut backs, regulations are changing the landscape, yes I get it's to the players detriment.

Threatening to ruin their reputation isn't conducive and do you really think they will respond to that? I know I wouldn't :)

We understand that, but what about reducing the frequency to keep some quality?
As an example, for the scheduled battles, why don't you get rid of some of them and at the end of the week we have a special decent battle?

Instead of having battles every 2 hours, make it every 3 or 4 hours.
I guess most players would rather have a decent battle from time to time than a lot of nonsense battles of 250-750 spins or 50€ tickets.

The same applies to the Thursday event, if the rewards are reduced from 9 to 6 in the 30 man and it's kept as 3 for 15 man, I think most people would rather lose 1 hour of battle than have a reduced chance of getting a single reward.

Quality > quantity is always better in most of the cases

No I didn't expect a response in all honesty. Look I respect your decision and yes they are entitled to make business decisions that best suit their aims. I agreed with this very notion in my previous response.

What I said is emphatically true however. People don't need to take my word for anything. Simply read posts from the past 30 days and you will find countless examples of selective responding and evasiveness. Simply add up the direct questions that are ignored whilst then being followed by posts that exhibit radio silence. It is not an exaggeration by any stretch. This forum simply isn't busy enough to lose track of where you previously were.

It's symptomatic of life in the UK in truth because people have opinions on everything out there but people simply refuse to pin their colours to the mast and stand up for themselves and each other. We are an apathy stricken country make no mistake.

I don't know why some are cherrypicking my response to 'HIS' initial threat either. The man is a walking contradiction, just digest his words and it's patently obvious.

My response was indeed childish and even though it was said in reply to a threat, it isn't excusable and I am man enough to apologise. What I am perplexed by though is either the lack of or the seemingly positive reaction to many of his posts. If these words were uttered by Boris Johnson there would be major backlash. Maybe I just hold others to overly elavated standards and should adapt my thinking, I just don't know anymore.

If you carefully digest what I have said over the past few days, in full and not with selective bias I don't feel like my comments can be seen as unfounded. My conclusions may be challenged as is everyone's right but the fundamental arguments were sound.

If you disagree however I am reasonable and mature (mostly) enough to absorb a sound opinion. Extreme passion doesn't help my case at times. I am old enough, big enough and certainly ugly enough to know better.
