But won lots like finish 200, 300, still a couple dollars. Finally won a 30k ticket fucking bullshit that was finished 320 or something. That's hard to win money. Top 40.

Yeah like others have said what a shame, I was quite excited about another new battle, but winner takes all is going to make it an extremely boring battle to all but the winner and extremely frustrating to players coming 2nd 3rd etc.

To me its going to be similar to the chase battles in that 99% of players get sod all which is why I avoid them.

IMO I think this new battle would have been much better to have with the same payout structure as the Tuesday battle, just without the 15,000 added element.

A small prize, even just say 10.00 to 300 low rollers (the bread & butter punters ) comes across as a small show of loyalty, more so when it costs just €1 to enter (Tuesdays battle structure)

With 10 buys ins (minus the added 15,000 as you mention) something very similar can be done without cost to the casino.

Also, 1 person with a huge battle win is heading straight for the cash out button I would have thought, 300 - 600 players logging in to play their small prizes stands a very good chance that more than a handful may go on to then make a deposit, much better business sense I would have thought

Well this was a funny battle earlier. 100 spins, no bonuses and only had 3 winning lines but won it out of 2,153 entrants!

The winning lines? Well, I done 1 line at 10p a line as opposed to 10 lines at 1p a line. First win was 5x Dre (well, 3 of him and 2 wilds) across line one, 10p spin yielding £50. Then 4 rings for £7.50 and I missed the last, smaller one.

Lost all the winnings on DHV though within 4 minutes!

So, after some changes over the past few weeks we now have:

Normal Battles - the ones where you can win Free Spins for placing are (mainly) 10p games, meaning you're unlikely to get more than a few pence/cents from winning anything.

Thursday evening battles - Red Tiger games only. Frustrating, low RTP - lucky to get anything worthwhile from FS wins.

New Saturday Battle - throw away a tenner for a 1 in 2000+ chance of winning. No thanks.

All of this, plus lowering of RTPs = another big round of cuts for players.

Disappointing. Much more and I'll have to start looking elsewhere, after almost 3 years solid on VS.

Personally i like the idea of the rebuy comp you are adding but agree one winner takes all is not attractive enough for me. A split between top 10 or 50 or so would be more encouraging.

I also agree that any of your customers who have been with you a while will be seeing these changes as cutbacks. It doesnt seem like you are giving any extra to balance what you are taking away through the reduction of RTP on rewards.

May need some tweaking but something along the lines of....

€1 buy in with the option to re-buy 4 times (total €5 euro)

Prizes are where the work and cost assessment would lie

Top 'X' (100?) places cash prizes as with the Tuesday madness, or maybe XP wheels (gold/bronze/silver), maybe even direct entry to round 4/5 of rounders? the next places could be where the variety really starts

places 100 - 200 Red WoJ even 2-3 -4-5 Red wheels depending on placings
places 200+ Free spins starting from 50 and working down OR a set of green and blue WoJ, higher you place more wheels, last few places one wheel or 10-20 FS

Idea works well in my head but I'm no expert, feel that the buy in cost, along with the RTP (as most prizes will be FS based) would not cause a huge outlay to the casino, plus you'll have some players making extra deposits at the same time as claiming their prizes or even checking to see if the won also

If its rubbish idea, don't hold back just give it to me straight

This is not a change, we are not replacing anything with the "Saturday Madness: It can only be one", its an additional competition. The RTP in all our Madness competition are well over 100%, but yes the Saturday one is volatile.

Last Tuesday Madness had an RTP of about 700%.

Well as most people are fans of the Tuesday battle format, with the 600 paid places etc, I would do one exactly the same but without any added money from yourselves but could make it 2 or 5 Euro instead of one.

Or 1,2 or 5 Euro with 4 rebuy as already suggested would be popular.

Bottom line is as long as you pay a lot of places ( like Tuesday 600 etc ) any size battle buy in will be very popular.

IMO players are put off battles that pay 1 or too few paid places. Your winner takes all ones may be very popular but would they be even more popular if you had the same battles with way more paid places

katpir will be sweating that 1st place all day long though! Just takes one berserk bonus on DOA2 and it's 'goodnight sweet prince!' I wouldn't bet against that score being beaten before the day is out. If you're down to your last tenner why wouldn't you have a crack at that?

But yeah, I think more places are needed as a bit of a safety-net, and they don't have to be very big. Just to ensure maximum participation. Even €20 down to 20th place would be like a commiseration prize. Using a volatile game works well because you know you've got a chance right until the last spin. If it was Starburst and the first couple of buys were bad, you'd just give up and not spend the full €11.

For the Wednesday one - what would be interesting is a freezeout €1 battle where you can re-enter as many times as you like (not re-buy), and get your name on the table multiple times.

As it stands I probably won't go in for the Saturday battle now. Or will I? NNNGGHGHGHNNN-Oh go on then!

This new concept really need changes. Like you see it's already "ended". It's stupid to even entry this battle anymore and here is 14 hours left. Number one spot has so sick score that no one beats it anymore I guess. There should be more prizes than just "it can only be one". Nr. 2 spot is over 70000 -> thanks and bye you won zero euros.

There should be more prizes. Let's say top 20 get something back. It's just ridiculous when there is 600-1000 players and you use 11 euros when your changes to win are like 0. xx %
