Pods are going to be available at some major retailers and Amazon until end of 2019.
From their website:
Nestle continues to identify coffee as a key growth pillar and priority for the company as clearly stated by our global CEO Mark Schneider. At Nestle Canada we are more than ever fully committed to the coffee category. The NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto business model has been challenging for us, with a crowded and competitive landscape.
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to leave the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto business in Canada. We now have the opportunity to focus all of our energy, efforts and investment on our Nescafe business which is focused on premiumizing the Nescafe experience and developing a new generation of coffee enthusiasts through new formats and delivery methods.
Our most popular capsule flavours (Americano, Medium Roast, Dark Roast, Lungo Decaf, Espresso, Cappuccino, and Latte Macchiato), will be available for online purchase until the end of 2019 at Amazon, Walmart, and London Drugs. They will also be available at IGA, London Drugs, Metro, and Walmart retail locations while supplies last.
Light Roast, Chococino, Lungo, and Caramel Latte Macchiato will be available online at Amazon, Walmart, and London Drugs and in retail locations at IGA, London Drugs, Metro, and Walmart while supplies last.
So I suggest you don't buy one on clearance, and if you already own one, stock up. I think Nescafe may have other models besides the Dolce Gusto.
