Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Yes I can't even withdraw 15 euros . I'd know I had the shot at better prizes at least if they payouts had a minimum of 60 euros and bigger prizes at the top . Ok I lost , fine , I don't want a crappy consolation prize . As is like most of the time you're going to make 5 10 20 euros profit , who wants to wager 2.5k just for that ?
You not supposed to withdraw it it's supposed to be money to play the slots with, it's not VS bank giving away money to top up your income they have said that which is why they increased the withdraw to £20 to stop people just taking the £15 and running.

I think VS have got it spot on,Its something you can play knowing you wont lose and gives you 2750 chances of winning 2k or quite a few other decent prizes.
Sng battles dont do that, yep you wont lose but all you can win is bunch of 4,5 or 6 free spins which by the time they are converted might make you 50 euros
if you are lucky and have been playing for hours on both days.
I have been critical of VS a lot but when they get something right I am only too happy to praise them.

BTW I ended up with a score of 45000 and placed around 250 and dropping but still enjoyed it

Bit suprized at the low number of players in the battle,I know there is still a long time to go but its standing around 1300 and on average
they have played around 6 buy ins which means most have finished all the buys as there are quite a few registered who havnt started to play yet.
The freeroll battle numbers have also well been down in the last couple of days. Dont know if its due to the end of the month or if the 2500 xp is
proving to be too high which most of us think it is.

Done all my rebuys and end result on 2750 spins was around 97.5%, slight improvement on my best result in one spin but still way too low for wheel prizes.

Wasn't that lucky in this. Here are my results per Buy-In and my total result:
1. Buy: 2791 points ( 2 times freespins)
2. Buy: 5558 points ( 3 times freespins)
3. Buy: 2908 points ( 1 times freespins)
4. Buy: 2394 points ( 2 times freespins)
5. Buy: 2021 points ( no freespins)
6. Buy: 7458 points ( 4 times freespins)
7. Buy: 2877 points ( 2 times freespins)
8. Buy: 1853 points ( no freespins)
9. Buy: 2080 points ( 1 times freespins)
10. Buy: 2470 points ( 2 times freespins)
11. Buy: 4544 points ( 4 times freespins)

Total result: 36954 points, pretty bad :-(

I like it, that everyone even with a bad score can get money back :)

I have done the buy in plus 6 re buys and have 30,000 points so not sure it's worth doing the other 4 rebuys as it will only generate probably a few more pounds, I might take the £15 prize and hope for the best.

Maybe you will get some fullscreens in your next buys :p

Ich think the price structure will change a little bit til tomorrow evening, so i will get atleast my money back :D

I actually like the game, and not just because I did okay. I liked that you did hit bonus rounds, even if they mostly paid poorly. I would not have given a chance after the first 250 rounds however. I'm not entirely discouraged by the money I spend in real with poor results afterwards.

And sometimes I end up playing a game because I see others doing well from screenshots or scores in a tournament.

I ended up playing a lot of DOA for far too long with little luck when it was available to me.

It also ran smoothly, and did not have the frustration of battles being full, or having to spin as fast as possible like the Clash.

I no longer cherish much hope I will win a CM prize, but I do find the extra level of engagement of screenshotting and posting fun.

We have seen 3 1000x plus screenshots already.

But danged if I can figure out how Phoenix Reborn can pay 5000x bet. There are currently two players with just over 100000k points, and that is after probably 2750 spins, not just one.

....

I was thinking the same thing. Full screen wilds is only 1000x, but my guess is that they mean multiple full screens during free spins.
Then 5000x isn't the potential but just a cap on the winnins from a Free Spins round.

It does seem very easy to get 1000x on this one.

You got this wrong Linda. I did too at the beginning when I started reviewing PnG slots

The max win on the game is limited to 5,000 x bet as most Play'n GO slots. It does not mean that it has the potential to actually pay that much.

You would need minimum 5x a full screen of Phoenix birds in a single free spins round, which statistically can happen but it probably is 1:10 billion spins or less.

I think this weekend battle has been pretty good (not just because I got just over 60000 points!) - you're pretty much guaranteed a little profit - decent enough if you're a low roller like me.

FWIW, this was my biggest win:

@Team.Videoslots My view on Battle Madness Weekend.

The idea is fine and the prize is fine but the prize structure does not give incentive, for example I am in position 1114th which means I should get around £14 or £15 to play with tomorrow which is fine with me I turned roughly that amount into a £200 withdraw last week, but I have 4 rebuys left and there is no incentive for me to use these as I would need to move up another 214 positions (or score another 10,000 points) to earn an extra £4 which would cost me £3.60.

So I think the prize structure on any future battle weekend should be top 1000 a share of the pot and anyone under 1000 gets some free spins on the promo game.

This way the pot would be higher so more of an incentive for people under 1000 to try to get into the prize structure at the moment I feel why should I play £3.70 to win an extra £4 whereas if I was in 1114th place and had a chance of still getting into top 1000 for a cash prize I would be more likely to risk playing the extra 4 rebuys.

Unlike other posters I am happy with getting £14/£15 tomorrow but where is my incentive to try for higher it is highly unlikely I would get 40,000 points to get into 90th place to get in the £100 worth of prizes, good idea for a battle just needs some tweaking.

Hi steveh35,

This is a new concept and we appreciate all thoughts and views on it, thank you very much for the feedback.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.
Indeed and all new concepts have to be reviewed I am sure the original battle when it started on page 1 here is different to how it is now, I actually feel like Everton football club in the Weekend Madness, 4 games to play, it's unlikely I will ever get into the top 6, I will never get relegated and never win a trophy I will just sit mid table every battle and watch the others around me battle for the top spot or avoid the drop out of the money :)

4 rebuys would be close to 20k points on average . Even if you run bad and only get 10k or so you will almost certainly get your money back for the extra rebuys . But if you get 20k or 30k etc you're looking at 10 - 30 euro jump maybe more . It's a nolose gamble imo

Checked my position with my 60k score and im still holding on fairly well since i finished playing about 24 hours ago. Position 239 and was 72 initially.. so still a nice bonus tonight when the battle ends as I would
imagine I won't drop very much further.. so anywhere between £30-40 looks likely at the moment as i cant see me dropping lower than 500th place before midnight. So some nice extra play time i think :)

And just to add incase anyone is interested in next weeks happy hour thursday battle..

Must admit I do like this game and keep coming back to it whenever I play - had some great wins on it overall, so be an evening ill like personally. (.10 spins aside.)

I found this event very entertaining. Thanks for that videoslots . Hope this event will come back. I liked the game too and at no point did i get bored.
If it was a mindnumbing game it would be torture to spin 2500+ spins. But really liked it so yeah:cheers:

I am getting closer and closer to no-pay zone.

Of course it has all the positives that have been mentioned. I will play it every time, because it has added prizes. You have to play it.

Only problem for me is that I don't like to wait 1-5 years to get my fair share of the pot. That is all.

Maybe if there was one every week (split pot)? That would be better.

@Team.Videoslots - So is this weekend madness battle a weekly battle? or once a month battle?

Would be great if it was weekly. Would also be great if you could increase the number of rebuys as well. Make it 25 rebuys, like the €1000 buyin one has on the weekdays. Also make sure to keep it at 250 spins as well. And as @steveh35 said, maybe distribute the prizes better, so the top 10 gets less. That way, more can get nicer prize amounts. Other than that, really enjoyed it. I got 54,1K score, so just managed to be in the top 500 at the moment.

Its replacing the weekend sng freerolls that are usually at the end of the month so they wont do it weekly
Yeh its a decent concept but I usually get at least 100 euros from the battle weekends , sometimes more and I think it's clear that most of the time in this you are going to get 5-40 euros profit with the rare bigger win and the occasional zero (tho prob not if you do all your rebuys)

Good first effort by VS,I would be happy to see it replace the sng battle weekends, hope it becomes a regular thing.
I dont think more than 10 rebuys are needed but possibly could have a restart feature where the score is cleared and
the rebuys are set to 10.That would give the players a chance to get decent score if the battle is not going well.
Think the 250 plays is spot on but thought is needed about which games to use, This game was just about tolerable
but sure better ones could be used.

They said in their promotional post that normal battle weekend will be back in may.

If I were the winner of this competition I don't know what to say. Yes 2700 euros is nice money but total pot 77000e at the moment so that's one big joke. Your "something for everyone"- concept... It just doesn't work. 95% of players in this battle will be get back something between 10 - 40 euros. And I guess almost all spent 11 euros to play this one. No clear win no lose. I hope you give good battle weekend next month and burn this concept. Or if you don't burn you should make radical changes for this kind of battles in future.

Not all of us i play in pounds which is 86p x11 and i made sure i wuthdrew £20 this evening. It will work fine with a tweak in the prize structure.

I dont have too much of an opinion on this weekend madness battle - it was fun for a couple of hours playing, ill make something to play with when it ends. Maybe as already suggested about prizes could be looked at,
but i must admit i still prefer the battle weekend.

If this weekend is to be done again, maybe its something that could be done alternate months with the battle weekend, or some other way of integrating it sometime/where but without totally losing the battle weekend.

I think it will be a good idea the madness battle and SNG weekends take turn since some people prefer the battle and some people prefer SNG weekends.

For me I prefer the madness battle, since I really don't like the idea to play same game for 48 hours. I normally don't make much on SNG weekends.
Last SNG, Reactoonz is the game I really like, so I played most of weekends, and I believe I got around 100 rewards, and I only got $50 from there.

I'm ok with any prize structure.

Thank you VS for the nice battle. Looking forwards to my $25 prize money.:D

If you took part in that Reborn Battle then make sure you check what you got credited in prize. I finished around 1143 and should had £15.05 i was only given £14.89 i know only tiny amount but still very bad that not been given correct amount!

Thanks anyways for nice battle that did not really have any risk as sure to get money back from 10 rebuys :)

Prizes are based in Euro. Any other currency displayed is only an indication and the real value is calculated after the tournament ends at the current Forex exchange rate, which can be slightly different from the amount displayed.

My take on the new weekend madness is that it is much more ethical that the 48 hour freerolls. There must have been countless folk giving up a full weekend to sitting up for over 48 hours banging away at ensuring that they gain as many rewards as possible which is not good for the health, only encourages addictions and can ruin personal relationships and lives.
The 48 hour free rolls where a great concept for those that where able to have some control on how much time was spend at the keyboard but they did nothing to promote videoslots as a responsible casino.
Just my opinion

Honestly, I'm not sure there's much difference in the end - a 48 hr time frame either way. While some may have devoted more time to one, it also allowed players to come and go as they wished - myself, id play to 20 and quit
