Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

It's been a fun evening Videoslots, for a modest sum. It's beginning to look like all players might get a prize, as there are now over 600 prizes.
I know I won't stay in this position, and I am not sure how prize pool will end up being distributed once more players join and play, but it is nice to look at (for now).View attachment 108137

Nice to see you up there on the board. :)

5 rounds in, doesn´t look good. :( Only nice win I´ve had so far was with the initial 250 spins, also hit the freespins like 10 times in the first 250 spins, but with every rebuy they become more rare :( Well, at least I´ve got hopes left that I´ll end up in a spot where I get the money for the buy ins back :)

Ok, I hate all new changes VS did, apart from the wheel and the XP points.
With the changes it is like all rewards people earn are gathered and then shared between some lucky few. Imagine if they do the same with the Weekend Booster.

I thought maybe finally I will get lucky at a money battle..... I didn't. Can't wait 1-5 years until I do. I won't. :(

Yo @Team.Videoslots can we also have a challenge for lowest freespin wins? :D

EDIT: Also a decent win added - sadly 1 birdie missing :(

Quite pleased with the prize structure, looks like most if not all will get something back,so hopefully its win win.
Not done anything spectacular so far, had an awful start but clawed my way back to trtp,
4 rebuys left so I need a few decent wins to get up the table.Shame the game is not brilliant but not as bad as it
could have been.
Much prefer this type of battle to the sng weekends, when you consider how few players make decent money at that

I probably wont even get my money back on this . Sitting at 55% rtp after 2000 spins
So for me this is a terrible alternative to the battle weekends
Also , I'm not convinced all other countries are on the same low rtp (94.51%) version as we are in UK .

Hi spoo42,

Unfortunately the countdown timer does not show how many days it is left, but if you open the battle lobby you can see that it is 1 day and 14 hours left of the battle at the moment. :)

@SlotGrinder - The RTP is the same for everyone in the battle.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Even if someone win £16 they could get a lucky spin on a game so it could be a win win even if you get the bottom prize.

Got another (possibly silly) question..

When it gets to the end of a rebuy/250 spins, and pops up with the countdown timer to rebuy - if you let that get to zero, is that your chances of rebuying totally finished? (as in, you cant rebuy at all afterwards?)

If i get half way through a 250 lot of spins and stop for a while, can i continue as normal (like in freerolls you can come back if theres time left and resume a battle).

To answer at least one of your questions: I was asking myself the same thing (if you could ignore the pop up timer) and decided to just leave a few spins until I want to rebuy the next spins.

I left the battle with 3 spins left 5 hours ago and can now resume the battle like in the freerolls for example.

Thanks videoslots for this weekend battle and for Thursday's freerolls, got 17 rewards from that night which paid about a tenner.

Good luck everyone, gonna do my spins later and hope for a top 10 finish, I'll probably be in the bottom 10 though since I'm very unlucky at the moment.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Persumably that's why you can't buy 15 mins from the end of the battle if you buy your spins you should use them in the time left or the game is closed.

Yeah i get that you should use your spins in the alloted time , but i was just checking to be sure.. but my main thing was, if the rebuy counter counts down when it pops
up after your 250 spins have done, if you dont rebuy within that time, do you lose complete access to continue playing your remaining possible rebuys? do you have
to do all your rebuys one after the other , as it were. @Team.Videoslots

I hope not as I have only done one round and wasn't going to play until later or tomorrow it still allowing me to rebuy and i last played 4 hours ago

yeah thats why i was asking and checking, cause why is there a countdown timer to 'rebuy' at the end of every 250 spins/rebuy? my first thought was, oh a countdown timer for rebuys must mean you have to
do each rebuy straight away?.. but thought id check just incase. :)

The countdown doesn't matter . You can still rebuy at any time . Just reopen the game and you will be able to click rebuy

Well, thats me done! Not a winning screenshot below, but the biggest i could manage. Ended up in (currently) 72nd place with just about 60,000 points.

Before it started I thought to myself, if i can get into the top 100 that would be a result. Still the whole weekend to go, but hopefully i can come away with
something, even if i dropped a couple hundred places or something :)

I was really looking forward to this tournament and happily wagered the 2500 for it but I have to admit the payout structure is a big disappointment. So far 1190 registered and at the moment everyone wins something. Thats way to many winners and with way to many I mean like 1000.

I would not win anything this time but I would gladly try to make the wagering every month if there were prices to be won that are worth it. Now a lot of people win money you can't even cash out as the minimum is 20€.

If I am lucky and qualify in the future I will of course play it again but I am not gonna chase it.

Yes looks like prize range % won't change so first place will get some 2.5K. Little dissapointment because 60K sounds like winner takes big big money. Now it's just 3.5% from total prize pool. In normal battles percent for the winner is over 20%. Yes more people get some candy money that's fine but still pretty lame.

But to low rollers like the likes of me 2.5k is BIG money :) And its nice that people will get something if have a poor session..... i like the format already @Team.Videoslots

The way I look at it is that in a standard Battle (free roll) weekend, everyone wins something then, so in this case different approach but again every participant walks away with at least a little something.

Would be a downer to spend €10, sit thru 2,750 spins to walk away totally empty handed.

If its about rewarding loyalty and retention then I think this structure this time is excellent.

Personally I think if moving forward its free rolls, battle buy ins every alternative month plus the Tuesday madness and Thursday SnG's, not forgetting the WB and CoS, then all VERY good from where I'm sitting

Sorry but I dont agree, I like the fact that most if not all will get something, its nice for the lower rollers, while top pay is still currently paying over 2k. Its a bit like the reel race we lost, where most people could get something.

If this only paid top 100 players like you suggest it would get boring VERY quickly, yes the players that win would be happy, but that would be so few, people would soon not even bother with it.

Ok yes a lot could get below the minimum cashout value, but most people taking part in this one would be in it for the chance of some extra playtime with a chance of a cashout.

I think this is a really good replacement to the reel race, where lower rollers can get something back but with a lucky session could get a bigger prize and players with a deeper pocket can try for the top if they want, It caters for most people IMO Excellent! @Team.Videoslots

I can see this format being VERY popular if kept in its current state.

plus VS have made it clear the battles are not there to be an extra source of income so winning £14 and moaning you cannot withdraw is proving VS point that some people are just out to withdraw as small amounts as they can and not using the winnings as playtime.

But you guys like it because you have done reasonably well :p Trust me when you lost 300-400 making the wagering and then think well at least I'll hopefully get something decent back from the "big battle" then find out you will basically not make anything at all from it since the prize is pretty much the cost of the rebuys then it doesn't seem so great..
I would rather have won zero and have the minimum prize as 60 euros (50 profit) and top prize 5k or something

I lost over £200 and had some luck with last week and withdrew £200 so virtually broke even I didn't even think I would get over 2500 as last Monday I was on 1900xp so I don't mind if I win £15 because I know you can win from it if things go the right way.

It's not nice to wager 2500 and then spend 11 on rebuys just to get 15 back lol

Who says you have to spend the whole 11? Also if less paid places you could end up paying 11 and get nothing back even more often or even win NOTHING EVERY TIME? That dont sound like long term fun to me. I like the chance of some extra free playtime, which is what this is looking like its been designed for :)

But lets face it, they cant please everyone all the time, everyone has the choice of which games to play, if you dont like this one dont play it? The same as I dont play the ones I dont like.

I have had no real luck for weeks.

....however if I played this Battle (I can't right now but still time I suppose) and win the lowest prize, Then the 'pain' of a poor run is somewhat eased plus I feel 'appreciated'

May sound daft and that I'm easily pleased but that low rollin' for ya! :p

It costs 2500 wagering to qualify and it replaces the battle weekends... ofc I'm going to play it and do all the rebuys to give myself the best chance of hitting the big prizes
It's just a bit of a letdown

So you would rather win zero than 15pds/euros? if you play the free battles during the week you may not even need to pay for the 11 buy ins.

Yes I can't even withdraw 15 euros . I'd know I had the shot at better prizes at least if theypayouts had a minimum of 60 euros and bigger prizes at the top . Ok I lost , fine , I don't want a crappy consolation prize . As is like most of the time you're going to make 5 10 20 euros profit , who wants to wager 2.5k just for that ?

Well if you play the freerolls today and tomorrow win a few spins and manage a £1 to enter with no rebuys it looks like you might still make a nice profit lol.

Sure your luck will change. My luck has not been the best of late but as my post in screenshots thread shows you can get a win from nothing. Who would have thought one stingy 10p free spin i would not normally even play would pay £438 lol. So keep trying as you never know what luck will throw you.:D
