CM Interviews trancemonkey

Morning ladies and gents.

As LadyJelena will be running a series of interviews here in CM tackling it more from the i-gaming side, I'll be running a complementary series of member interviews.

First out of the gate is trancemonkey.
You can check it out here:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Feel free to comment, however, please don't tie the poor guy here for follow-ups for Qs best suited to the AMA. :)

Happy reading.

Thanks mate... and yeah, just general abuse and/or love here please hehe

Great read! Thanks to both of you! :)

As for trends for next year:

I found this one recently and thought it would be an interesting concept. Still waiting to get the full game details as I couldn't see what the jackpot it is or what other features there are.

Also like this Megaways-workaround Leander calls Dynamic Ways. Reviewed it yesterday and was close to getting motion-sickness when I did the video. :D

Other than that, we will have another dozen or so "Book of..." clones, more grid slots and IMO a RTP trend towards low 96% and medium to high 95% values.

Great read guys, well done @dionysus @trancemonkey

Also cool to read that you did a bit of work on social casinos.
I have played Huge Casino for a few years but quit due to the fact that the slots just became stone cold and people in my guild / alliance or whatever you wanna call it were spending literary 1000s of Dollars on fun chips and I think Huge went into greed mode.
So I wonder do the slots on a social casino run in the same way as when you would play it for real money? This goes obviously for the slots that are copied from real money slots. Or do they have a complete different maths model? Obviously no RTP numbers on social slots. ;)

Many slot providers have a social casino or more social casinos these days as an extra form of income I suppose.

Personally I maybe spent 50 bucks lifetime on fun chips as tbh I see no point in paying cash for chips that cannot turn into cash.

I play Lightning Link slots these days on my phone as I love Aristocrat slots which I cannot play for real money a.f.a.i.k ... Load of Lock and Spin featured slots with linked Jackpots.

Anyway, great interview guys!

Mark.

1. 'Slots are random, if you think otherwise, you're an idiot' - CHECK
2. 'Look at all the places I've been able to visit with my job' - CHECK
3. 'I think game X by competitor Y is shit, but I can't do anything nearly as good' - CHECK

Fuck me, how many threads do you want on here?

I didn't choose the questions... ;)

Was meant to be a joke but I read it back and it was a bit harsh! Sorry mate :)

You didn't have to delete it, I took it as a joke! Hence the laughing "like"... feel free to put it back ;)

as trance says, the Qs were enirely of my own devising. I wanted to highlight some things some people may have already known but are now so buried within pages it was an opportunity to highlight a few points, and for people new to the forum - we have may seen some of it before, but not new readers - and to well, give readers a bit of a chance to learn a bit more about trance in general. :)

oh stop you know you rigged the questions....lol.

Great interview. Nice to know More about what trancemonkey does and where he’s been.

where did you go in Canada?
I imagine you’re dealing with government officials as they are the ones runn8ng our land based casinos.

Mainly Moncton :)

Yeah, the Infinity Reels starts with just 3 reels of 4 rows, pays ways with an RTP overall of 95.51-96.54%
Each win successively adds a reel and adds 1x multiplier to any pays, no limit.
The RTP variance is due to the player having a choice (like with Holy Diver) of forgoing free games 'Temple' triggers and storing them for a more enhanced feature.
You can actually expand the game to over 15 reels (there's no theoretical limit lol) - if you do, you get a special 888x stake prize in addition to the way pays.
So if you 'store' your free games trigger until it happens on more reels, you'll get a scenario whereby the free games will add 2x, 3x, 4x per win to the increasing multiplier for each win.

You base game max win, including the 888x bonus for 15th. reel is 1246x, 358x without the 888x bonus and in the free games 6250x with the bonus.

Min bet is 0.20, max bet £40. It's volatility is medium-high and the feature hit rate is 1/129 up to 1/516 spins if you choose to eschew the earlier bonus triggers.

It's a weird slot, not sure it will take on the Megaways series though.

WMS did some games like that Infinity Reels game many years ago... not sure any ended up on line.

The leander one is, erm, visually unpleasant.

Great interview from the great man. And yet we still don't know his favourite colour

Reported

My favourite colour is Bacon.

Interesting read. Mazooma eh? S16/21? Was you involved with Random Spinner and the huge glitch in the game? :p

Mazooma made some great Lo Techs back in the day. Golden Game, a very profitable game if played right, Monopoly Wheel of Wealth, again fantastic streak.

Rob

The first game I ever worked on was a fruit machine called Disco Inferno (it had a 52 card card-mech in it!). Took ages to spin!

Some questions I would've bowled at you, but feel free to ignore any or all if they are a bore or draw a blank:

1. best bit of advice given to you/can still remember, while on the job [not a euphemism for a wc]
2. strangest thing you've seen happen in a casino
3. where do you see yourself hopefully in 10/20 years
4. A change you'd like to see the ukgc introduce, can relate to any area, not just the issues we read most about
5. will vr headset gambling take off
6. How much do you admire Arthur scargill
7 Brian clough or eric cantona, who do you prefer

A few left field ones there to keep you on your toes :p

I sort of remember, was there a clone called Wet N Wild? That had the best samples ever. They had it on like a prize payout here back then.

Was there another one called Motorway Madness or something?

back then AWP actually meant Amusement :p

Yup, Wet n Wild was also a game I worked on. And Pacman Plus too.

Cheers mate. There is nothing in the client area yet, so I emailed David to get the details.

It sure looks interesting but then we had something similar with Laser Fruit and that didn't really take off.

Typical of Trance to make this thread all about him

oh

wait

I'm the resident narcissist. Like Trump. Only fatter and less orange.

You didn't seem that fat when I briefly met you that time

Im fatter than two years ago... travelling, endless restaurants, and a love of bacon sees to that!

Alright I promise not to shout Oi Fatty Boom Boom when we next meet

Wow what an amazing interview and a person! I had no idea trancemonkey is equipped with so much knowledge and experience! How cool! And questions are so good!

Thanks both for a great read!

This is really fantastic way to get to know our members way better :)
