Three points about Jackpot Party

1) There is a slight jerk in the reels any time you are getting a winning spin or feature on most slots. I'm not sure if other people are experiencing this as well, but I've noticed it on two separate laptops. It takes a lot of the suspense out of the games when you know before the reels have stopped whether you're going to be winning or not.

2) The tournament promotions don't give enough information to weigh up your chances of winning. The top twenty players with the highest wager win a prize - if there are 50 active users then it's worth having a shot, if there are 50,000 then a low-roller like me isn't interested. I've never been influenced to play at all by these promotions. The deposit bonuses are of course very generous and I take them for the maximum amount every month.

3) KISS is the most entertaining addition to the online video slot catalogue in a long time, in my humble opinion. I've never seen colossal reels before, the music (courtesy of KISS) is excellent, and the graphics are appealing. It doesn't seem to chew through your balance as ludicrously quickly as some of the WMS slots can, but I'm sure there are some decent wins in there somewhere.

Now if I could just get a shot at the bloody progressive it might be one of my favourite online casinos!

Yeah yeah, the pseudo reel-spins on JPP have been mentioned before by their afficionados. This is merely clumsy graphics, because the result is picked before the reels start, and all you see is a library video of the result. When it's a win, there is obviously a graphics lag.

Agreed. Is the progressive feature predetermined too (as in the amount you're going to win)?

It really feels like it is completely random for some reason, I don't know why - but I guess when it triggers the Jackpot Party is has already determined what you'll win regardless of what presents you select?

Yes, it is almost certainly.

1) The WMS slots do this everywhere. I thought it wasn't present at Unibet but it's just not as pronounced. It's really annoying when you're playing something like Bruce Lee, 'cause you know if the scatter triggers (any three of them) are going to land before the reels have even started spinning. Totally spoils quite a few of the games IMO.

2) I completely ignore their tournaments for this exact reason. Given that they have players running at £100+ per spin, I'd say anything that involves the most wagering is best dealt with in this manner.

3) Had it going for ages in free money mode before, all noise and no trousers IMO. Loads of shiny shiny shiny to deflect attention from what is a fairly boring lowish variance slot - although I didn't do enough spins to form a definitive opinion on variance.

As for the progressive, I'm now at 25,000+ spins without hitting a JPP, mostly low rolling but there's been quite a bit of play at higher stakes in there too, especially on LUX.

In other words, don't hold your breath for it....

All comes down to whether you like playing slots, or like being in raffles...

So is this the result of lazy programming? How is it that none of the other major providers have this problem?

It certainly is low variance, I was spinning away at £1/spin for quite a while without my balance really going anywhere. Should be good for wagering since you can safely bet quite a bit higher than on the other WMS slots. My best bonus round was about 60x stake, but I can see the potential for some mega hits. Above all else the colossal reels just offer something different to what is on offer everywhere else.

I've still never had one. I've redeemed some award points so I don't know exactly what my playthrough there is, but it's a lot. I don't expect to even win anything substantial, it's just annoying me that I've never seen it!

Ask them for your stats, they should be able to tell you your total amount of spins, and total amount wagered, since you joined the site.

From my own experience you can easily wager more than ten grand and not get a JPP, which you have to remember can bin you off with as little as £20 if you don't collect any presents before hitting the COLLECT, which does happen by all accounts.

I'm on a bit of a downer with Jackpot Party at the moment, as you can probably tell :D Lost north of a grand there this month so on a proper break from them.

I get this but actually I quite like it. I've worked out that the size/timing of the lag is generally linked to the number of lines you are about to win on rather than the amount you'll win per se. It also tells you that, on the Money Burst games (for example), the amount you'll win is pre-determined at the point the triggering spin is sent to you whereas on the G+ games like Zeus, it's not.

Well I finally got around to getting in touch with Jackpot Party about my stats.

My RTP over 28,472 spins is a fairly impressive 95.8%, but I've still never had a bash at the progressive in 28,472 spins!

Total amount wagered is £10,297.68. Average bet size is £0.36.

thats to why youve never had a shot at jpp , because your rtp% is good , wait for some real bad sessions ,then out of the blue it shall indeed pop up )
