Aww.. you peoples get all the cool sites.. hehe
Was over there, but being a US player, all I got to do was look at their page.

Do love this quote though:
Under their Forums Button..
"Bump your gums until they hurt. Meet, greet and beat." :D

Great!
Now we can get ripped off by totally rigged, 80% return machines in the comfort of our own homes!
Fantastic - just what I wanted!

At least even they recognise this on their site:-
You can free play until your start finger bleeds or pay and play with a minimum 80% payout. Why go to a pub ever again when you can serve yourself, smoke and whinge behind the comfort of your own keyboard? Pub fruit machines online. Oh, Missus.

Despite this clear & honest warning I bet this site will be incredibly popular with fruity addicts & make the owners into mega-millionaires in no time!

:eek2:

Yep you will be spot on with that last bit KK. I am just jealous that i am skint,As i have toyed with this idea for a few years now with freinds,I know these blokes have put all there savings in to this project and bloody good luck to them. I asked about rectro clubbers from the 80s/early 90s and they are intending to do just that.I can see this site being huge in years to come. Amusement arcades are now coming online

What's a rectro clubbers ??

They need to lose the 80% bullshite:mad:

80% reflects the overheads of siting and running Fruit Machines in their physical form. There should be no need for this tight payout online.

The standard for online slots is 95%, and unless they are giving away bonuses, they should stick to it. The new breed of UK "fruit machines" with 500 jackpots are set to 92% (some are 90%) - they need to bear this in mind.

IF they are using the original ROMs to power the game, there MAY be instances with early machines where they simply cannot set them as high as 92%.

Free play should give some idea as to how they MIGHT play for real money.

Once they are offering real money play (seems to be in 85 days), we have to ask who licenses and regulates them, and who is backing them. To reproduce original machines online, they will need the agreement of the patent holders for the original games, most of which are now owned by Barcrest, who themselves are running an online casino (Kerching).

I doubt it can beat the scenery when travelling though, unless they can reproduce a virtual arcade (or virtual service station) to walk into.

NO. Your missing the point. They are bringing the uk fruit machines online and %80 is a lot more than landline arcades. And barcrest dont own the old fruitys licences. Its not a casino/ Its an arcade mate. And i am liking the idea a lot.

No I'm not....

80% with virtually NO overheads is taking the piss. DECENT arcades pay more than this, up to 92% on the very latest "random" machines.

Why on earth should the fact that these are "Fruit machines" rather than video slots entitle the operators to an extra 15% of "hold".

When the 20p game was ORIGINALLY passed by the old Gambling board around 1990, we were promised 90% payouts. Indeed, my local arcade offered 92% on the 20p games, and a little less on the 10p ones.

80% will mean players will get stung pretty badly, and they will leave. MANY players are now familiar with the mainstream online casinos, and will expect around 95% payout on slots.

At 80%, the customer base will consist of fools and addicts, and sensible players will play the old fruities for free either on this site or on their PC.

Even if Barcrest don't own all the licenses, somebody does, and that somebody MAY come looking to collect. Barcrest took over many of the old fruit machine brands, and the group of enthusiasts who have put together many old machines for free play on the PC have had to skirt around the licensing issue by NOT distributing the games as a whole working piece of software. They code a layout (picture of the machine on the PC), and they "rip" the original ROM from an old machine. They distribute the layouts (their own work), but have the ROMs available for sharing, and from a different site. This means they never distribute an entire virtual fruit machine, and thus do not fall foul of the licensing rules (so far, no fruit machine manufacturer has contested this).

You want to play old AWP slots with 80% payout on your PC for real money?
OK

The free-play side is fine but there are sites already that offer the chance to download and play any AWP slot with the original ROM.
Fruit EMU to name but One (excellent site)

Yea rusty i have been there for 4 years now and have every club machine going,And as for playing them for real money.I can only dream. I am also looking on ebayfor a classic old clubber to buy :p

I havent set foot in an arcade for a year. 50p play/35 jackky even at 90%
is a a joke.No one has made a half decent game at these values, mainly as it
is impossible. They would have to have an edge on the established online casinos and 80% certainly isnt it. You can play pub slots at any MG casino
at well over 90% with a chance of winning a grand or more at 50p stake if you hit it right.
I would advise the guys behind this to have a serious rethink about what they are doing before they go to launch. The idea is sound and I would try it at a reasonable percentage.

Might contact them to see if they want to use my portfolia of games though.

Try quicksilver arcades then. Also dire. This site will kick it all off in the coming years. I predict the future

Shadow can you please name these arcades with over %80 payouts ? And i am talking about the majority of the machines not a few. Also i have NEVER touched a 35 jackpot one and never will.So i will admit to not knowing there percentages. I am talking about the retro years.(i live in the past)

I have had more fun and made more money on the MG pub slots than any of the 5 line casino fruits
Depends what you enjoy, sharking machines in an arcade which is the only way to win nowdays or taking the time to find out how the casino pub slots actually work like me and a few other like VWM.Granted they are not as sophisticated as the real uk fruits but with intelligent play they can be far more rewarding
