This is too bad to be true

Okay I low roll never staking more than 50p. I only play a handful of games and they have always played very consistently. Recently though I have noticed a dramatic swing especially on Birds on a wire. I have played this game repeatedly for over a year. It is my go to slot and had a fairly high frequency bonus rate. In the past couple of weeks it has changed beyond recognition. I accept you can hit bad patches but even in the past when I have had a terrible run it hasn’t even come remotely close to this. In my last 40 deposits I have played the game every time. Mainly 20p occasionally 50p. I have lost every single time apart from once when I doubled £10 into £20 but bust straight out after. I have played it at Vs, Casumo, Redbet, Rizk and Dunder. All supposedly stand up casinos and the game has played the same on every site. In the region of £600 without one decent hit (best feature x25) at those stakes. Actually did around 250 spins at Dunder this evening at 50p. No bonus best win x16. I am not moaning about the money (I wouldn’t gamble if I couldn’t afford it) but it’s the manner in which you lose. It seems like the game has been changed or I am being blocked off somehow because you just can’t be that unlucky unless something has intervened. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a change?

I concur with Gaz, just an awful slot game (only the graphics are enjoyable). Have seen better results on Fruit Warp. The Birds are only for the battles.

Let's see some winner screenies from Fruit Warp...!

So what are we saying that a slot with a rtp of somewhere near 96% is awful compared with other slots that have the same rtp. I am not sure how that works:confused:.

Think of the slots & RTP like cars and top speed... different cars can have the same top speed, but how they get there (acceleration) can be completely different.

Does that help?

No I crashed at the first bend:). I know what your saying but I have played it solid for a year had some really nice hits on it and you get to know all it’s traits. What I am saying is the last 2 weeks it’s playing different. When you are that tuned into a slot you notice these things.

I'm not saying it's impossible you are noticing a difference, however, the overall number of permutations is likely to be 1 billion plus. It would be incredibly hard for a human to notice a difference from a sample size of two weeks. If you had played it non stop for 24hrs a day for two weeks you would have gotten through 200k spins. If you assume that there are indeed 1billion permutations that is a sample size of 0.0002%.

Due to the size of the numbers involved I think the only way you could really detect anomalies or change is by using computers.

Thread title (slightly) amended. I couldn't bear the "to" vs "too" thing any longer. :p

Every Thunderkick slot have version number, they are updating it, TBH I rly dont know what is there to update, current version on VS is 2.13.0, i guess like every new slot or majority of them are paying nice in the beginning and after some time bad bonuses or no bonus.

Not Thunderkick too :eek2:

Does anyone know what these updates do? Are there ever any patch notes, like with any video game, to say just what it is that's been updated exactly?

Because if it's performance-related, it doesn't show. Most games are as buggy as ever and keep all of their little 'quirks'

They clearly update it to get a camel to control your rtp, then get said camel to make a fake account and register here to shill.
It’s the only reasonable explanation I’m afraid...

You need to let the camel thread go. It'll be the end of us

If it was something innocuous there would be no harm in telling us. The fact we aren’t told only leads to suspicion. If the game has been passed fit for purpose is it tested again after these updates? If it is to adjust the way a game plays you have to assume it wasn’t right to start with but still got passed as good to go.

With BOAW all the action is in the brown birds (like with the BTG purple symbols) have seen several people hit big, 1000x plus in battles.
