He’s a scaff and worked in London that’s why lol

Yeah I forgot about them very tall buildings like the shard and was thinking of flats and houses
Its crazy to look at when its so high it does not look safe even thou it is.

OK, guys, the comp is over!

From my memories, a short story first! In 2007 I started to do scaffolding and in 2008, after receiving an official part 1 scaffolders certificate I went to do work for a scaffolding company.

In general, part 1 scaffolder is a labourer which has to do what he is told to, and normally it is carrying materials for others, but they don't let you build anything serious apart from handrails and some other simple jobs (then I didn't know that... :D).

So, worked there for a few weeks and then said that I won't be doing this shit anymore because I want to build something myself too.

Their manager was a nice person and send me to another site to work together with one really funny Scottish. He was literally singing different songs all day and after work drinking in a pub till very late lol...

The job was in Dalston, not in Canary Warf, The City of London or London Bridge as you guys were probably thinking.

Once I got there, I started to count how many 21ft tubes are topped into each other (@Playford7 knows what I mean).

There were 15!

21ft tube = 6.4m

15 x 21ft = 315ft

315ft = 9601.2 centimertes

have a different meaning!

For example, @helenakp guessed 27.989 cm which means twenty seven centimetres and 9 millimetres (almost 28cm or 0.9ft), but not twenty seven thousand nine hundred eighty nine centimetres.

If a comma were used (27, 9890) then the result would have been twenty seven thousand nine hundred eighty nine centimetres.

Congratulations to the lucky ones! :) @osulle, @bamberfishcake, @mina1929 I will PM you in a minute!

Thank you so much, I just guessed for fun as sure I didn't think I would win :eek2:

So I finally had a little bit of luck and managed to make a profit for once. So I would like to pay it forward. I had a good win on a game Bet level was 0.50 so whoever guesses gets €50. I can do PayPal or Neteller. I will leave this competition open for until midday Sat. Good luck and big thanks to @Guntis for giving me a chance to pay it forward for once :)

Guess the win either amount or multiplier win. Closest to the win wins!

I feel happy that a share of my winnings here has made some others happy too!

Congrats on your win @osulle

Afraid my £50 crashed all rather too quickly. I used all my slotting skill and prowess as well.

I will abstain from this contest as penance for my sin.

Good luck all!
You can guess no need to abstain. I have won here several times and crashed so please enter a guess :)

Hey scaff wannabe! congrats on the win also, and many thanks for this comp! It’s lovely to see the thread pushing on!

I’ll beat @ternur and go 666x

Thanks dude.

If I'm allowed to take part (I have a backlog of winnings not yet cleared) and since Ben stole my go-to answer (thou shalt be punished for it), I'll guess you won 369 (in your gambling currency, so that makes it a win of 738x, yes?).

I was doing some christmas shopping* earlier today and I will not mess with the unholy ghost intervention.

Thanks for the comp Osulle

'Christmas Shopping' ...... Is that what your calling it now?

Remember folks this competition closes at 12 noo tomorrow. So far I have 13 entries which is pretty low so can we get more guesses so please from those who haven't guessed before (great guess and again 1 really close). This is a €50 pot so I am surprised I haven't had more guesses. I am wondering if I set the competition up wrong or people just don't want to bother. It's a free €50 so anyone who hasn't guessed before feel free to guess now. The competion closes at noon tomorrow Irish or English time!

Again to clarify the game was "Lil Devil" and bet size was 0.50 bet size so whoever guesses (or closest too) either the amount or times bet winnings.
P.S never thought giving out a prize would be this hard but hats off to those awesome CM folks who went before me!

380x thanks for the competition x

Changed it as guessed same if thats okay I should of looked at guess before hand @osulle

@TheAddict, you were writing some amazing story from your childhood memories but forgot to try your guess. :)

Only just read this. Thanx mate. Though I won't guess in these comps though. I came to the conclusion long ago that considering i never win coin flips in poker even close to remotely proportionately what should happen, winning a comp here is a futile exercise I need not participate in. So I combined that with the fact I'm also a lazy pos who cba to host a comp myself, and figured it's a lose lose for everyone ;)
