Yeah, originally they just lifted the sample and used that.

As far as I'm aware, Heather Small of the M People replaced the vocals when the song was re-done- she can be heard on most of the versions of the song you hear these days.

Heard?Destroyed the song her voice is totally awful on the replacement luckily most radio stations still play the Loletta Holloway version, Now 80s unfortunately choose to use the Heather Small version.
