I just don't get it, the ingame explanation is not very good, and I cant get my head around it as it's not left > right..

Maybe I'm just dumb

Still got no idea how the Dead Canary lines work, just seems to pay out on random patterns, havent been arsed to look it up
though.
Played the Cage a couple of times, paid sod all,no idea what was happening in the game, think NLC are going a bit too far
now, no fun if you dont know what you are hoping will drop where.

Went to check the paytable, i mean how hard can it be to figure out how it works.
So if you want to know how it works i suggest asking someone else, because i haven't got a clue.
Playing a couple of spins just made it more confusing, looked like it gave me wins for spins that matched the 'no win' examples in the paytable.

Ill post a picture that explains it and maybe someone with a phd in slotology will come along and explain it to us.
Top row = win
Bottom row = no win

With NLC, you just hope for the counter. And if it goes boom!, boom!, triple-boom!, quadruple boom! you know you're good for another 500 spins.

It also looks like it has a 'cascading and cluster pays' mechanic
It does cascade but I’m not aware of cluster wins, unless you are talking about the mechanic that is a roundhouse kick which clears the reels where three of the same non paying symbols are together in a straight line (I’m not sure how to explain it).

I know what you mean. By cluster pays I mean you win by getting a certain number (5 or so) of paying symbols next to each other, and no matter how they're positioned.

I almost never play Nolimit slots, i just watch them lol... I don't beleve that i can win there anything, but honestly, i'm often amazed of how the company puts all those things together.

Guys, it's a 7-reel game with 5184-ways to win. 7 reels of rows @ 3x4x3x4x3x4x3.

They've simply turned the tiles or symbols 90 degrees for reasons only they can tell us.

Looks fucking pointless.

Like a train station turning all the signs round 90 degrees so people have to twist their heads and bend over to read them.

The person who came up with that idea should also be bent over 90 degrees and firmly rodgered.

I'm sorry, but I still don't get it..

Take a look at this one:

The jacks or not hitting that way, the 10s are not hitting in the direction of the red, and it's not fat guy on top and right.
If it was a ways from left to right, why are they not hitting? Talking espeically about the 10s and Jacks.

I have no degree in slotology, but they pay left to right as standard. It's just the play area that is twisted.

As @satchnz shows, you have to view it as standard columns. Forget the 90 degree twist of symbols and sliding diagonally. Took me an age to get used to it though.

At least it dares to be different.

I rarely play No Limit slots but when I do my eyes just sort of glaze over like this -

Their games don't do enough to tell the average player what the fuck is going on. I like to think of myself as a seasoned slot player but even I struggle. If you're going to attempt an interesting mechanic, make more of an effort to explain it to the player because most of them can't be arsed to wade through loads of help pages, and will simply give up.

Totally agree. It helps to watch others (streamers) play them over and over again to get an idea of what is going on.

Hell, I remember when San Quentin first came out and I didn’t have a clue what was going on. Now it is very familiar…
