Was that really necessary? Please don't produce a bad vibe in this thread. Thanks!Evening all.
Just watching ‘death wish 4’
What a superb and almost forgotten franchise!..
utterly immense!..
Charles Bronson is great throughout all his murderous ways.
Totally agree with him also.
Could do with a bronson with the likes of antifa, even labour supporters!.
Was tongue in cheek, I’ve never invited hatred or violence on here since I’ve been a member. Was that really necessary? Please don't produce a bad vibe in this thread. Thanks!

Can’t a man have a joke anymore in this day and age?...
this is a movie thread now tarnished with political correctness insanity...

I love superhero movies and never forgetting Christopher Reeve as superman
I can't believe this one was in 1978, so many moons ago
The main reason I don't post in here very often now is because on one hand this site gives the impression of being so PC while employing a guy to police us who's antiquated views have been posted for years without ever getting censored. Instead he is lorded by a fewWas tongue in cheek, I’ve never invited hatred or violence on here since I’ve been a member.

Sorry, Canadians have international rights on profuse apologies; you may however apologize moderately. Again, humblest, sincerest and most profuse apologies. Carry on.If that makes me a lesser person or renders me incapable of knowing right from wrong, I do apologize profusely.![]()

No, I meant the alternative definition of 'prescribe'.ps I think you meant 'subscribe'![]()

thank gods for smiliesOn one hand it's funny to see so many crossed wires and the other sad that freedom of speech can be limited.......Not either are a declaration of my views but an example of how differently viewed the written word can be. It's all in the eye and how our minds read. I have stopped communicating by text with my ex because it's the worst form of communication and our views of each other don't lend well to interpretation. It's good to be mindful of this when reading text from different walks of life![]()
The Japanese & Koreans do the best horror - fact. I don't think there exists the perfect ultimate horror film, but for psychological shenanigans their output is unrivalled.
They had a purple patch in the early '00s where seemingly every film was good. But for simple starters you need look no further than Ringu or Juon. Dark Water is also good.
Most recent Asian film I'd seen was The Wailing, which was superb

'Society' was playing in the background on the Horror Channel just the other day, a film I'm sure you'd appreciateI’m a fan of old school horror, here are a few recommendations...
1. The fog
2. Creepshow 1/2
3. Pumpkin head
4. Monster squad
5. Cujo
6. The beyond
Obviously we have the likes of evil dead, elm st etc.. but above are a few hidden gems for your entertainment![]()

@SteveBr As Good as it Gets is a great feel good movie. Have you seen the bucket list and one flew over the cuckoo's nest? Jack is a great actor.
Just settled down to watch Smokey and the Bandit 2 on ITV4....perfect bank holiday film
I wasn’t at all intending any bad vibe, was just the closing comment to my movie thoughts was all mate.I was half joking.
@Playford7 - of course I know you made this in jest - but since nearly 40% of our members are from the UK, there is a good chance there are folks here who are lefties. And I just didn't want a bad vibe to infiltrate the thread. No worries.
@geordiecolin Dunover is not an employee - Max is - that's what I was joking about.![]()

Ah, The Wailing -- Great film
There are of a lot of great films from various Asian countries, some of my favorites:
Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior (2003)
The Raid: Redemption (2011)
Old Boy (2003)
The World of Kanako (2014)
Shutter (2004)
Last Life in the Universe (2003)
Spirited Away (2001)
I Saw the Devil (2010)
Love Exposure (2008)
Just a small list of awesome films. These days I mostly choose a film from the east over Hollywood any day of the week.![]()

im always amazed - and envious - of people who can sleep most anywhere; ive never even fallen asleep in my OWN chairI was watching a movie review and I remembered something. I am curious, have you ever slept during a movie (in a cinema, not at home)?
I admit it happened to me once. It was my first and only attempt to watch 2 movies back to back. The second one was Captain Corelli's Mandolin ....zzz!![]()
