I played on my account with my spouses account. I had approval but did not realize it was not ok. Spin casino acknowledged this and continously took money knowing the name did not match which violates many areas of their laws. My spouse requested ti be refunded which by law they are obligated or they violate many of their own rules and regulations. Been waiting a week to hear back

If you have any trouble with that here's a guide to steer you through the PAB submission: How to submit a Player Arbitration (PAB) Ticket.

If you do proceed please ensure that you have read and will comply with the Player Arbitration Policies and Procedures. Failure to comply with the Rules could slow, damage or even cancel your PAB.

Probably taking a while, as they are deciding how to get the money if they do refund the wife, as you are correct they had a lack of security 100% , this does put you in their cross-hairs Bigtime !

So if they refund your wife, this would have to mean she didn’t give permission to use this card, and wants the $ back. When they refund they will have to file any reversals with Visa /Mastercard along with the backstory, and will have to be reported as fraud. This is for sure not the first time they have seen this with a married couple gaming the system to avoid losses, also Banks , Visa and Mastercard not only hate the headache and paperwork of getting to the bottom of this grift/fraud/deception etc ; you could be at risk losing the services of whomever issues the card and any financial products you have with that institution. loans , etc

It will no doubt ensure you will be blacklisted from that casino and it’s partners , and depending on how litigious the Casino is, once charges reversed out the Casino can push for criminal charges , depending how it was used.

In Canada , you can be charged with criminal offences including theft or unauthorized use of a credit card, fraud, and identity fraud, which can carry penalties of up to 10 or 14 years in prison depending on the financial amount involved.

It’s not just a matter of going “oh you allowed to use card ABC” and the deposits and losses go away, wiped clean and move on, the Casino and card issuer will have many questions to find out how the fraud took place, without noticing or whether it’s “friendly fraud” and how to go about preventing your of the both of you committing fraud.

If your wife did give permission ; and they discover her lying to mitigate both or your losses then she also gets potential legal and criminal charges ; Made worse for the both of you and this was not just a single event or gaming session.

If it were me I would be taking the loss rather than a badly thought out escape route , that has massive potential for GET INTO JAIL REAL FAST !

Good luck but you may want to rethink your end game here IMHO.

Taking a look at the Casinos, I don’t think they are very litigious (Assuming it’s not a crazy about of money that requires review) in pursuing legal and criminal charges.
However your account is cooked plus any accounts you have to their sister Casinos, after ready T&C

It’s All detailed in their terms under section
10.17 TERMINATION OF ACCOUNT
