Free spins are are mostly a waste of time and leave you with approximately 30p to gamble with, and it is especially bad when the fs are on dead rubbers like Reel steel or even worse - gulp - Sh*tburst.

If free spins are dished out they ought to be in the 50- 100 range.

Ok, let me clarify:

These were just some random thoughts that passed through my mind, with the exact same intensity as worded in the O.P. so i had to get them out of my system.

Also, i somehow had the feeling it could be a hot topic!

Further, there had seemed to be a recent trend to waste forum time and space, and i figured my random thoughts would make the perfect opportunity to do my own fair share!

You are right, the 10-20p spins just don't do it.

The best value in free spins, i am getting regularly, are from the Fortune Lounge group (I play at Royal Vegas, not often lately, 5-10 years back they were my usual hangout, got a lifetime Platinum loyalty tier with them)...anytime they start a promotion where free spins are given away the value is between 0.80 - 2.00$/€. When i ask their support for some free spins they are between 0.50 - 1.50 $/€. Highest win from 15 free spins at RV was 140 € ...wagering was a modest 20x, so i made it to a nice cashin.

All other casinos i play at are always 1 coin @ 0.01 coin size .....worst are the ones on Starburst, had once 50 free spins and walked away with a terrific 1.45$ .....other then some play time, there is not much more one can hope for at such low values.

I prefer to have 10 or 15 spins @ 1$/€ value instead of 50 @ 0.20 or 0.25 cents.
