Hello fellow Punters, my wife and I are in Australia and have been on only 2 online Casinos the past few years those being 32 Red & Royal Vegas. Now we have no complaints against these establishments, but recently both have informed us they are not taking further deposits. This apparently has something to do with Australian Law (not to sure) as long time gamblers we much preferred the online option to the local land based ones we have here in Australia, but it seems that option is being extinguished. My question is does anyone know if this option is available anywhere else on the web or is it now completely closed to us here in Australia?

kind regards

Nearly every affiliate programme has contacted me to say they won't be accepting Aus play from 13th. September 2017 in accordance with new Australian legislation coming into force on the 13th. of this month and that from right now no Australian can sign up and play. So you have a few days left at some casinos but in most if you haven't been chucked out already, you'll need to cease play and withdraw and monies by the 11th as you'll likely be locked out by then.

It's only the big multi-software casinos who have Microgaming & NetEnt games which are leaving the market.

There are still hundreds of other casinos who will basically flout the law and carry on serving Aus (exactly the same as what has happened in the USA after their government tried to ban it in exactly the same way in 2006).
Just be careful where you chose to play, as there are a lot of rogues out there.

Welcome to the forum!

Hi, thank you for this info - I read the bill - it says that not only operators are under fire but also sites that promote them - shall we still able access review sites? or they will not to be affected? Cheers

Well I hope they don't block sites like mine!
Can't be sure, but I sincerely hope not.
