I thought that would get your attention. :p

In case you haven't noticed, Casinomeister is now a certified arbitrator in the EU - you can read about this here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/player-arbitration-pab/

And like I mentioned in our last webcast, we need to act more professional since we are 18 years old this month. :D

So, as painful as it may be, we need to rename the Pitch a Bitch process with something a little less funny-ha-ha. We are keeping the acronym PAB - we just need to change the words. :D

I already have the first two: Professional Arbitrators - the stickler is the "B". We have "Body" (yuck) "Band" (who's playing drums?) and "Bureau" - which is actually not bad, but a little ho-hum.

So here is your chance to have your say: if anyone here can come up with a word that starts with the letter "B", and is better - perhaps a bit more snazzier than Bureau, you'll win a $50 Amazon gift certificate.

And it doesn't necessarily have to be English. We have "Meister Blatt" for the industry newsletter. And Casinomeister has a rather German sounding ring to it as well. :p

Caveat: I have gone through my copy of American Heritage Dictionary and looked at all of the B words. Didn't see anything better than what I got now.

So you have until Monday 20 June - 1500 hrs CET to come up with something. Please post your submissions here in this thread for me so I can make a decision. Will it be mine, or will it be yours? :D

This is good news so congratulations on getting certified:thumbsup:

I don't know many b-words though... Bee's and battles...

Watch my Rhino videos and you'll learn plenty more English 'B-words' I can assure you! :D

OK, serious head on now!

I would suggest Professional Arbitration Bond.

Bond is of course a union, the joining of two sides: player and casino arbitration. Also a pledge - in this case pertaining to promise of work carried out to a high professional standard. And the last definition also fits, the word 'Bond' has its roots in law, as does the new EU-wide system you mentioned plus the legal status of the new ADR's under various Licensing Authorities. :):) Do I win more beer?

Shouldn't it be 'personal' rather than professional? Since the service is usually for a person against a company, and it goes with out saying that the service would be professional

Personal arbitration board

Personal arbitration bargaining

Personal arbitration bargainers

Personal arbitration banter

How about bastion?

bastion:an institution, place, or person strongly defending or upholding particular principles, attitudes, or activities.

seems in-line with the CM philosophy

It is a great contender for sure, only thing with this word is that it fits better at the beginning than the end. So just call it the BPA, much better!

better at beginning sure, for bastion of professional arbitrators, but doubt Bryan wants to toss the acronym, hence the professional arbitration bastion. :D

Some good 'uns offered up in here for sure.

Just...a humble suggestion. You could also substitute 'practised' for professional as you guys are already the seasoned veterans with an exisitng positive history in arbitration.

(pre-eminent would apply as well, but might sound a bit...horn-tooting).

I like this suggestion, considering it's defined as a person who serves as a trusted agent or intermediary in commercial negotiations or transactions I think it fits really well!

It's good but my only concern is that brokerage usually deals with two willing parties wanting to exchange cash for shares or commodities or other entities and is nearly always associated with trade, as opposed to one happy party and one complainant. On its own 'broker' sounds fine, but when suffixed with 'Arbitration' the word is slightly out of context.

'Bastion' is too close to 'bastard' and will endure obvious ridicule. And it's French which makes it worse.

We could use the German word 'bund' which means 'alliance' 'association' or band and is also in the English dictionary, as many German words are.

Why not go one better and have Pears Apples Bananas? This would be quite fitting as the PAB process is likely often mis-used by fruitcakes

 Not everyone has the dunover mindset to name any/everything new with a negative connotation. :D
I'm not saying bastion is the best choice, but bastard never came my mind. Bryan could call it a potato and you'd find an unsavoury nomenclature.

Well I hope you're proud of yourself. I had to google it and everything!

Definitely Word of the Day!!

Though my spelling is good, my typing sucks dirty donkey bits, and had to edit the spelling, now forever highlighted in your quote.

No really, I didn't even know 'nomenclature' either....so both were lost on me.

It's not too late to delete my post if it makes you feel better. I'll just say it was for personal reasons!

Lol, not at all, wasn't intending to sound pedantic, just the first word came to mind. The forum is littered wit my poor typing skills - sad to admit, I never learned. I'm still a 2 fingered hunt and pecker (boy, that just opened the doors to dirty retorts lol).

There's two ways of looking at this:

You're either three months too late for the Pornhub thread, or just a pioneer for a yet-untitled smut thread

Don't post stuff like this when i smoked weed Bryan..-.-
Now i am thinking more like: Professional ABettor..
which is a perfect use of the PAB service! :p Or at least it seems to be atm:)

Potatoes are very savoury. With the exception of sweet potatoes of course.

Now, I hate to tell you this, but funnily enough in some areas of the YooKay your 'taters' are, ahem, your testicles. :eek2:

So you're right and wrong. An unsavoury nomenclature, but alas one I cannot claim credit for.;)

Try and leave some of the plantation for other people :eek:

I'll suggest professional arbitrary besiegers, or professional arbitrary brotherhood, or else professional arbitrary beratung (sburo), or maybe professional arbitrary beneficiary system/service? maybe professional arbitrary benefactor..

And stop watching Game of Thrones whilst smoking goddamit. I've told you about this!! ;)
