Just a short downfall story with no b*** or glofiyed addons.

Was balls in chasing the losing streak as happens now and again from time to time????
Now I dont mind losing fair and square.

What sickens me the most is the way the the slots played deposit after deposit ?

I made numerous £500 deposits all on different games, hardly any bonuses or gameplay??
I emailed the rep and he has yet to respond.

FOW, Yes I was on the tilt mode, but also, Never before have I such a savage beating.
All thoughts and advise much appreciated.

Im sorry for your loss, we have all been there at some point. Do you feel you are in control of your gambling at the moment? Are you spending more than you are comfortable losing?

My advice would be to take a break and find a different hobby.

All the best

Chasing losses is never a good idea but we all do it once in a while. Seems we just never learn enough from our last "tilt" session.

I recommend to set-up maximum bets (e.g. Videoslots is offering that) and daily/weekly deposit or loss limits on all your casino accounts. And don't be too generous, set them at such a low level where you are still comfortable to lose that amount of money.

It won't completely stop you from going on tilt but at least there is a limit as to how much you can blow in one day. Raising or removing limits will have a 24-hour cool-off period, hence, even when you change them during your next "tilt" session if won't allow you to deposit more until the next day. That is usually sufficient to cool down and restore "normal" thinking/ logic judgement.

FYI, it seems to us players that exactly in such "tilt" sessions the whole world is turning on us and Lady Luck has taken a ride to Mars with no good wins in sight. We lose in many sessions but for some reason we think that exactly our "tilt" session is the worst ever. It mostly is though just our imagination because of the pressure from the heavy losses.

We have poor / no-win parts in virtually every session but are mostly sane enough to leave the current game and try our luck on a different one or just stop playing for the day. The big mistake which turns often a session into "tilt mode" is that we stick stubbornly to one or two games, thinking "I blew so much on them now, they must be paying at some point". Only to forget that they do not have to, no matter how much you waste on them.

Popular slots such as Bonanza, DOA etc, can have thousands of players hammering the reels at the same time. To be than the one who get's the good wins or at least recovers all or a good part of the losses is wishful thinking and plainly good luck. From those thousands, hundreds will have very poor sessions, hundreds poor sessions, hundreds might break even, hundreds win a little and a few win big. That is the nature of slots.

To conclude, rest assured your losses made a few players very happy that night! :D

Looks like you had quite a bad run and started chasing losses. Worst thing you can do.

The only good advice under those conditions is to pay for your losses and to completely stop gambling.

Huh?

The amount of times I’ve dropped £3-500 on games like DHV on 40-80p spins is rediculous.

I often think ‘What if I’d been playing at £2-£5 spins?’

Would be absolute carnage. Doesn’t really matter what game you are playing they all have the ability to nab a quick few grand off you in no time at all even on relatively low stakes like £2.

But it doesn’t matter as its online slots, there is no problem here everything is ok as the rtp is slightly higher than those evil bookie terminals!! Give me a break.

Wrong wording. Meant that if there are people losing on a slot, there are surely some winning.

Thats the thing I'm surprised at when you open up most slot games the stake has been pre set at £2, at that amount you can lose hundreds of pounds before triggering a bonus/feature, but the slot provider must think that is a reasonable stake to play the game they've designed. Maybe they think most people will do 25 spins [rather than 100+] and then switch to another game. I had an idea once just to do 10 spins on each game, say at sky vegas, rather than hoping to be lucky in choosing the 'right' games and doing 100+ spins on each.

My sympathy to gtpaul though, that is a big loss and its just horrible. Ive lost about 2k in a month recently, it was just relentless dead [25% rtp] playing slots, and I was playing mostly 20p and 40p so it was an incredible number of spins with no decent wins at all, so if I had played at £2 a spin with all things being equal my losses would have been 10k.

I ended up using the TAB tool for a 4 week break, came back and the losing restarted, another 1k down. When I first started playing slots 3 years ago, there were all sorts of big wins happening, something has changed I think a lot of players have given up so the games have less money going through them to fund the big wins hence its far harder to have a recovery as the games will not payout.

I don't know gtpaul's financial position obviously but my advice fwiw if you do have any savings left I would recommend using the TAB tool as you are still in a vulnerable period of chasing further, in a 'what the heck sort of way, its ruined my savings I might as well spend the lot' which I have felt myself when very angry [justifiably] at feeling ripped off. Sometimes the games play in a such a low rtp way it does feel close to legalized theft.

Thanks all,
Yes will be cutting back now, my bad for chasing, but it seems the slots have changed drastically.
Never before have I seen such bad gameplay.

All is not lost they gave me two tickets to the FA cup final with accomodation and a £250 VIP cash bonus.
Now I just have to win all the money back!

Aah, the good ol' sweeteners... :) Just be careful that you do not blow another ton on top of the VIP bonus. Slotting should be fun, not for the sake of winning big every time and then chasing losses. Play with what you can easily afford, make your session fun and soon you will find yourself enjoying it a lot more.

Had plenty of those perks in my heyday (around the turn of the century) - personal VIP host, cruise holidays, private dinners, concert tickets, the lot, plus a shitload of cash bonuses with NO wagering requirements. Still never withdrew anything.
Unfortunately, I thought at the time that all was so great but too stupid, I was soon throwing even more money into their casinos. Losing 5K and more in a session became the new normal at some point and it only changed when i moved to a new country where, luckily, other things became more important! :)

Just sayin'!

Now's as good a time as any to shun the slots and take a bit of a hiatus, surely. With such a beating I'd have that playing on my mind before ever depositing again.....

Problem being that pre- deposit we only think of happy slot memories or glorious comebacks :(

I do sympathize with the losses as I'm a serial chaser, just bear in mind the slots will happily take you for another 15K without even breaking sweat

Would you mind sharing the names of the slots you were playing?
Always interested to know this.

Hi all,

My slot play consisted of in no particular order. Big bad wolf, DOA, Bonanza, Danger HV, steamtower, reactoonz, legacy of egypt, cazino zeppilin, wild wheel big money,
fat rabbit, tiki tumble, hotline, extra chilli and a few others.

My best gameplay with consistency was on DOA,
I played on 90p to £3.60 stakes and over approx 500 spins my balance was consistent, hardly deviating from the start, I also got the 5 extra spins on the £3.60 stake (no wildline) but it did pay over £750.

Big bad wolf was bad, over 800 spins at £4 no freespins! I was down to my last £10 off a £500 deposit and it threw in a big base hit of over £400??? Really something not right there........

The rest apart from wild wheel big money slowly ate the deposits.

The very worst offender was extra chilli. I lost over £8000 on this.
People can have there own views, but that gamble feature is so wrong. At one point I lost over 11 gambles in a row on £100 / £200 buy ins.

When I did win a gamble the next stage from 12 to 16 is just as bad, it is supposed to be 60 / 40 , no way is that correct, more like 3 in 10 won.

I managed to gamble to 24 spins but only after heavy gamble wheel losses, and then it wasnt a massive win about £500 on a £2 stake.

This game is made in such a way that you have to gamble as there is no way 8 freespins are enough to get any return, then you get sucked in trying to recoup your losses on that savage gamble wheel.

Anyway good luck to anyone that plays this game, You will need a massive balance and a gamble wheel which has a 90 / 10 ratio in the players favor to stand any chance.

I only wish you young gamblers could see gambling from my 65-year-old eyes.

The OP is the typical gambling cry baby, and regardless what he says will end up broke unless of course he bets small compared to his wealth or endless income or quits now while he can recover.

Here’s how the cry baby gambler usually a problem gambler reacts.

First after getting their asses kicked after several 500.00 deposits, they complain about no bonuses or game-play by contacting the rep obviously to hint without coming out and saying it that they may be a victim of suspect software behavior. Don't forget, they don't mind losing fair and square, which could only mean it's not. They know if their a VIP and the casino wants to keep their deposits coming they will give them something. They soften the temporary tilt with tickets and a 250 VIP cash bonus.

After getting the cushion, he suddenly realizes he needs to cut back, not going to chase loses anymore, how suddenly the slots play great again, and how he finally is plugged into the right server.

This type of behavior is a well-rehearsed reaction from problem gamblers. Their careful not to outright claim rigged, (or why would they be playing at all?) but, make comments like it seems the slots changed drastically, never before seeing such bad RTP.

Also, every time he gets free cash they must press the win button because he does great.

Getting free cash often and tickets to FA cup finals is usually the sign of a heavy hitter. Heavy hitters are heavy losers.

The OP played this fiddle many times in the past. The casinos would have more respect for him if he just called and said I lost my ass gambling like a fool, what could you do for me? Don’t forget, with his VIP status and regardless if the cry baby way or the honest way of asking for free comps achieves no result because he’s not losing enough, he has to move on to another site.

Most of what you say I agree with from my 64 year old eyes but every so often I get sessions where nothing pays, little stakes, big stakes.
you just cant do anything but accept it and try another day.The worst thing to to is go full tilt, throw deposit after deposit at it
In the end the casino ends up happy and you end up bloody miserable. No point in whinging, blaming every one but your self, life has dealt you a shit
hand, move on

Very good blackhole.
I didnt ask the rep for anything, I only gamble with money I can afford to lose so no problem there.

Re the server issue maybe a "sense of humour" is needed on your part.

I have been online playing gambling for over 15 years, so my opinion is that the slots have changed.

Everyone to their own.

I’m sorry if I mis-understood your previous posts. Why did you e-mail the rep after getting your ass kicked?

I don’t see what the problem is - he had a bad run with a low rtp and got a marginal comp and a couple of tickets. Thats the way reciprocal business has always worked in the industry. Why is he “crying like a baby”.

Amusing you think that the casino gives two shits whether he was “honest” or not in the way that he asked.
