Hi

I received the following flyer this morning:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

It clearly says in column 1 " Log into your account with your account details OR register.."

column 2 " Once logged in your account will be credited with 60 spins on Bust The Bank"

Live help told me one I have to deposit £20 - where does it say this? then he told me it's for new players he then told me I was not eligble for this.

But he would give me 100% deposit bonus.

Be aware of this letter because they are not giving the free spins they stated.

I got the same letter. They claim it is for new players only, but then how did they know my name and address?

One time I got a letter from them that even included my account number but when I tried to claim the free spins I was told it is for new players only.

If it's for new players why are they sending it registered players?

It makes no sense. I get around 1 letter per year from them and I have never been able to claim the free spins.

I'm always told it was sent in error, but the fact my account number is usually printed on the letter makes me angry. They must know I already have an account, so why do they waste my time with promise of free spins only to tell me its for new accounts only?

Sounds like another bonus this group wont honour. Bait and switch. I recently had an incident with one of their other casinos (Major Tom). IMPO they seem to think these tactics are going to get them more deposits when instead what they are getting are dissapointed customers. Made worse by uninformed bad CS.

"Wow that's a good NDB! Unforunately we cant honor that bonus we promised. Here's a standard 100% match on your deposit instead. Completely different to what we originally offered otherwise thanks for downloading the casino".

yer i can vouch for there misleading promos , i know most people also dont like casino rewards but hey at least when they send me something i can claim it & know i will get paid , i had another from betway last week via email this was so poorly written i sent them a mail back in disgust because i found it not to be honest & should of been looked at , cut a long story short they did give me the free spins ( thankyou betway ) but it very nearly cost them a account closure as i felt it was so misleading.

I didn't receive this particular snailmail from them, but I did close my account yesterday permanently after receiving airmails while I was on the do-not-mail list or w/e.

Hopefully I won't have to deal with their unsolicited airmail anymore:thumbsup:

If its just for new players, why would they write "Log in to your account or register a new account". Would I be a new member if I could log in to my account?

I asked them this and they told me they will forward my concern to the marketing department and contact me on Monday with an explanation.

I have a feeling I will not be getting any kind of response but if I do I will post it here.

The live chat bloke - think it was Danny was very rude - with all the rival MG casinos you would think they would be wanting to encourage players not alienate them.

Do they have a rep on here or do they not really care what people think?

I've closed my account at redflush because of their misleading promos. They should be honest from the start and either say its a reward for depositing/match bonus or say that it is a freebie if it is that.

I seems to be an inflation in these kind of promos though. It kind of annoys me when Netent casinos offer free spins, where you actually have to pay for them with a deposit or some wagering.

I got this spam-by-post today too, went in the bin without even being opened - you get to recognize the envelope by its foreign address.

Don't just throw things away without opening them first. They do send a lot of crap, but I was very surprised and happy with a letter I got from them recently.

I'm not sure how I made in on their VIP list, it's been a few months since I played there and even my most active months there I wouldn't have considered myself a VIP player.

They sent me a USB stick with the software on it (usually it's a useless CD), $100 no-deposit bonus next time I logged in, and a $50 pre-paid VISA.

I've played and lost way more at 32Red, 7Sultans, and other casinos, never got anything like that before... but I wouldn't consider myself a VIP player anywhere. I usually deposit about $100 at a time and never more than $1k in a month at one casino.

Almost makes up for the letter with the Playboy bunny on the outside of the envelope, now THAT was dumb.

My first thought is...do they know you're a member here?
I always get that kind of emails from GoWild. Not with many freebies but some offers about being a Vip. Now maybe I'm wrong and everyone gets them but for me it feels strange since I havn't made a deposit there for at least three years

That USB stick could contain anything, including malicious software that gives them access to your computer and every private detail of your personal life. You have no idea whats on it untill you plug it in by which time it's already too late. It is a common scam for criminals to give out free USB sticks to gain access to a computer.

I'm not saying that's what's happened here, but if it was me I would not take the risk.

That definitely crossed my mind, I never did plug it in. On that note though, a CD could easily do the same thing.

Surprised

Hi Steve, very surprised you had a bad experience with live chat.Ive been with the casino a while and all i can say is my experiences with the casino have been fantastic so far and most definately when im ever on live chat i always found the people very helpful and very very pleasant and not in a mad rush to let you go quick like some other casinos ive experienced.

Is it possible that those mails are coming from affiliates? I know there are a couple affiliate programs that will allow their affiliates access to promotional mailers. Although that doesn't explain why it's printed with your account number.

Download the software from the website, and format the USB stick. It's likely that it's one of those cheap USB sticks in any case, a throwaway marketing item like the free pens that used to come with junk mail. Sadly, free pens barely come any longer, so I am now faced with buying some for the first time in years:mad:
