Reason behind excluded slots from a deposit bonus ?

Hi people :)

I was just checking out the Christmas Calendar at Nextcasino and Casinoluck (the 2 casinos I play most of my time). Like always, I did check out the small letters under the 'Terms and Conditions' of the promo, but one line in their terms left me behind with some question marks. Here it is:

"The following games are restricted from our deposit bonuses: Scrooge, Devils Delight, Champion of the Track, Robin Hood, Tomb Raider 2, Castle Builder, Pearls of India, The Wish Master, Forsaken Kingdom, Big Bang, Eggomatic, Lucky Angler, Aliens, Blood Suckers, Simsalabim, Eye of the Kraken, Tower Quest and all games in our Live Casino"

That games from the Live Casino are excluded I understand, and it's not that the rule isn't clear to me, but I was wondering what the reason is why they exclude some of their non-progressive video slots from their deposit bonusses ? Has it something to do with the individual RTP % of those particular slots or is it for some other reason ?

given the list there,

some will be because of super low variance grinder slots for wagering
some have collection bonus mechanics which can be abused with bonus money - fill it up collect later with real cash
and some i have no clue about :)

These you can collect "tokens" or get to the start of "high win potential spins" with bonus money play and collect later with cash:
Scrooge, Devils Delight, Robin Hood, Tomb Raider 2, Castle Builder, Pearls of India, The Wish Master, Big Bang, Lucky Angler, Aliens, Eye of the Kraken.
Though with most of those I really can't understand how you can save up enough potential to make a significant profit - unless you could somehow manage to load them ALL up at the same time...?

These you CAN'T collect things, so I don't understand why they are on this list:
Eggomatic, Blood Suckers (very high RTP?)

These I've never played, so I can't comment:
Champion of the Track, Simsalabim, Tower Quest, Forsaken Kingdom. (I assume the last two are similar to Castle Builder?)

Eggomatic you can wait until some good items are on the conveyor belt and continue playing with real cash so its similar to the collect token category in a way.
Tower Quest and Forsaken Kingdom is the same, you collect things to trigger a feature.

Blood Suckers and Simsalabim have a low house edge.

You can collect on Eggomatic.

Edit: sry Mighty Duck all ready pointed that out.

"Blood Suckers and Simsalabim have a low house edge."
Not only that, these games are low variance. Or at least they seem to be low variance compared to other games.

Basically a combination of near-97% or more RTP's which slew the bonus into a slight EV+ in some cases if WR multiple low enough, and as people have said a potential for cumulative bonus 'storage'.
You can play games like Bloodsuckers and 1429 Uncharted seas all bloody day and not bust your deposit...

IMHO the most elegant way is not to exclude the games entirely but let them only weight 50%, or another sensible amount to the wagering requirements.

Excluding them completely might lead to confiscated winnings BS when the games are playable while a bonus is active.

That's definitely an exaggeration, even with their relatively high RTP you'll still go broke pretty fast on these game.

I'm not sure if I can agree :p

Let's say you play around 500 spins per hour, €1 per spin and you play for 5h each day.

Then you wager €100.000 in 40 days, and on average you will have lost €1.400 on 1429 Uncharted Seas (98.6%).

That's by far one of the best wagering deals you can get!

The NetEnt games will be excluded because they're well known grinder games. The maths models of some games just lend themselves to bonus play better than others.

Came across this on BGO:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Seems very hash how they may just refuse winnings if you accidentally happened to play on one of the slots in that list and not realised.

Like someone said before, the sensible/fair thing is to lower contributions (which many places do). I still find it a bit annoying, it's not always clear and you can be found playing for a while only to realise it doesn't contribute at all / very little.

I am sure BGO is one of the actual sites you cannot physically play the slot, Chucks you off etc, Do not hold me to this as I know they have changed abit recently
