Just to let everyone know, this thread is on the verge of getting locked. Why? because it seems that there are new members here who have either an axe to grind or some stupid ass agenda that doesn't belong here.

I'm watching this thread closely, and I can already state that there are signs of new posters signing up with identical IPs.

Do not use this forum in a fraudulent manner. I will bust you out in a most public way.

Just a heads up. :D Please continue....

As i stated earlier I have no intention to cause discord, nor do I have any issues with any of the OPU staff, or anyone else for that matter. Neither do I have any knowledge of any smear campaign by media sites against the OPU. I have been in this industry a long time both as a webmaster and a player and I just happen to feel strongly about this point.

Pump poker is a site designed to get players to deposit money, just like any other casino or sportsbook and as such players should be able to find out who is the company who own the domain. Why the secrecy? As a potential player I have the right to know, and as a webmaster who spends a lot of my working week trying to sort out player disputes with casinos I also have a right to know.

If indeed Damian does own Pump Poker, then that isnt an issue apart from a conflict of interest which has been discussed many times before and I have no intention of dragging the whole thing up again. However, this is about the players and they have the right to know who they are giving their money to.

Meister, I'm only posting so you'll have my IP, just to clear up that I've not been any poster in this thread, if I have something to say, I say it with my known nic, for I speak my mind when ready, to any one!

Static IP set up through my router here at home for networking, Meister will even be able to find my address and phone number with it -- :D

Winner Online forum had this response from OPUJakeThompson

Hey guys.

My names Jake Thompson and I'm a sports mod over at OPU.

Damian is super busy with Thanksgiving holiday stuff last I heard so it may take him a couple of days to respond.

As far as I can tell, Damian is an affiliate of PumpPoker.com and the website in question is actually an affiliate redirect to the mainsite that Damian registered.

Damian's a standup guy and no matter what the slanderers and smear campaignists post about him, he's on the up and up.

Clevfan actually stumbled upon a 2nd website that redirected to the PumpPoker.com site that Damian registered and she grilled him on that for a little bit thinking she had a big story until Damian came and explained everything to her. I am trying to find the thread but whatever he said appeased her which is difficult to do if you know Clevfan from MW. The girl would grill her kids for 10 days straight if a cookie came up missing.

From what I can tell from the PumpPoker.com website, it is owner by the folks at BetCorp which are also behind one of the premier offshore sportsbooks (WWTS), among others. They have quite a few sportsbooks and all of them are rated high with the review sites.

I wish I could give you more details but you'll just have to wait for Damian to get back online when the Turkey Day stuff is over. He's super busy right now, like I said, and with any luck he's out buying me an XBox 360 for Christmas.

I know EXACTLY how you feel Dominique! I felt the same way when I read Suzecat's thread about Fortune Lounge.

While the motivations of Suzecat were suspect, (she's the OPU's shill for Virtual Casino's Danny, and OPU had just lost Fortune Lounge as a sponsor), there were still some legitimate concerns in the thread. Maybe it will help you to focus on the legitimate concerns that were raised?

Be very careful Heerlen.........your comments verge on slander. DO NOT make any statements that cannot be backed up with facts! :(

Well, Jetset or someone should be able to easily verify this.

I know nothing about sportsbooks.

Word from the meister

I just want to jump in real quick to remind everyone that opening bogus accounts to try and stir the shit is a no-go here:

Donotpump's registration IP and Heerlen's are the same.

My thoughts and findings: Donotpump signed up - and immediately posted. Donotpump probably tried to sign up with an IP cloaking device (it didn't work), but when Donotpump posted, it recorded an IP from India. He/she makes one post and splits. Never comes back.

Then comes Heerlen with the same IP, but he/she does not use the device. He/she stirs the shit - but when I state that I will bust fraudulent posters out, this person reads this - and then splits.

Both users have been banned permanently. I will not tolerate people to use this board in a fraudulent manner. If you have a bone to pick, go pick your bones in another place.

If you have an issue about how someone conducts their business, there are tactful and acceptable ways to address this. To sign up a bogus account with the intent to smear someone is childish. You have no honor.

Finally, I will defend the integrity of Casinomeister's forum, so do not screw around here. Thanks for your understanding.

Even if the OPU owned Pump Poker...what business is it of anyones?
Do you know how expensive it is to own a casino online??

Why the big secret then??? People do seem to care a bit.....as some of the questions asked seem to say.I'm not even going to get into the "anybodys business" part......it's a bit past that.

The OPU and Pump Poker...

The real issue here is one of deceit from the owners of a place that is professing itself to be some kind of great, and powerful player "WatchDog" site, which is totally bogus and deceitful. Players should not trust this site because you can't trust the owners.

This has been the main problem with them all along.
Damian is trying to build a "for profit" site on the backs of the players thru deceit, manipulation, and confrontation with competing portals.

All those things mentioned in the above posts on here are proof of deceit, and since the .com ownership has been mysteriously manipulated, and hidden from the public by the proxy registration, the proof provided is more than sufficient to prove that there is obviously a connection between PumpPoker, Damian Dunlap, and his Fake "WatchDog" site.

No Real WatchDog site would condone, promote, or back a Gambling site that hides it's ownership. In the normal course of "PROTECTING the PLAYER", this should
be the first essential requirement in order for them to promote it.

Damian knows it would be a conflict of interest, and a problem, so it's obvious that he is behind this covert Poker site.

Hi All,

I'm upgrading this thread to "closed" because I know where this is headed - a downward spiral. Please no portal wars here. I'm sure there are plenty of message boards that welcome (or even encourage) these sorts of threads. Unfortunately this is not one of them.
(rule 1.8)

I wouldn't mind a discussion on the expectations or expected attributes of a watchdog site, but this seems not to be possible here with so much emotionalism.

Thanks for your understanding.
