why is it prima have stopped showing cards when you go allin in a ring game..i played on dream poker a site incidentally which unless you play large stake games offers $0 in bonuses..go allin qd 10d 3 diamonds on the board..software pauses the guy who had made no initial raise remarkably turns over the kd Ad..2 hands previous the same player beats me with AA against KK and in that 20 min period another guy who had made no initial raise flops a str8 on the river against JJ...now your gonna say ahh just a bad loser well that i am not what i am trying to point out is that PRIMA is NOT goos if your a strong player way too many loose calls by guys who are 93% downers and 9/10 they will hit..i think dream has its problems anyhow if im one of there top 30 players and have deposited less than $400 in 3 weeks but thats my last cent to any prima site the bad beats go on and on but the not showing allin cards is as far as im aware a players right to see and something suspicious going on if theyre not showing...

Any time an opponent sees a showdown, you are able to view their cards in the hand history. Most online sites muck losing hands without showing them, but you can dig into the hand history if you want to see what they had.

With regards to your other comments, nobody has ever produced any credible evidence that Microgaming or Prima doesn't deal fair casino and poker games. You don't sound like you have a good understanding of poker, and you should probably refrain from playing anywhere live or online unless you can afford to lose whatever you are risking.

I will agree that Dream Poker's bonus system is sub-par.

Well

Its true.. I am not a big raker... As a matter of fact I suck in poker.

2 days ago I deposited $20 at Pokertime.com, I made about $40 within 10 minutes...

After some drinks (DDDDDUUUUHHH) I decided to play some 3card and Black JAck... Guess what...Lost Everything.

After probably $350 in deposits (from which maybe I have raked $25 jejeje) I have not received not a single bonus.

Their chat still sucks and their cs is just annoying.

I like micro because of their variety of tournaments, however I believe I will go back to pokerstars or go back to my endless search for a decent playtech poker room.

I once requested a bonus for casino, not even $1 they gave me.

They also never honored their welcome free roll, but its being compensated with the $1000 free rolls they have every day.

But for me.. its bye bye for Prima

Prima is pretty bad with those bad beats as is all poker sites. It happens, the chances are they dont have shill's or bots. I think you are just like me, when you win a hand you shouldnt you say "about time" and act like you were favorite and going to win it. But when you get bad beat all hell breaks loose. Thats the typical gambler, you dont notice the 50 dollars you won at the holdem table, but you notice the 20 dollars you lost on AA vs. 1010.

Prima revoked my membership ... or actually they just cut my chat without telling me ... same result anyway .. because I was talking with other players about other poker rooms.

I wasn't promoting them. Someone had asked a question about a different poker room and I responded.

However that had happened once before and I was warned, but just as I said to them then, I say now. When have you ever entered a b&m establishment, say a cafe .... and been threatened to be thrown out for discussing a different cafe at your table? Its utterly rediculous.

if they're not big enough to accept the fact that other poker rooms DO exist; and that ... surprise! some of their players also patronize other poker rooms .... all I can say is grow up Prima. You're pathetic.

Agreed

Have to say PRIMA to me sure is as you rightly say full of a bad beat every few hands AK will lose 9/10 to a smaller ace and hence the reason i have given up playing online.i played at dreampoker where i was kinda stupid one night and allowed myself to get involved in blackjack at the sametime and yeah playing $2 a hand lost 37/40 hands all to 19/20/21/bj now i dare or challenge anyone to tell me why should there bj be different from there poker its all a simple programme ...

I'll call BS on that one. Go ahead and produce the playcheck logs of you losing 37/40 hands.

I had a similiar anamoly like experience today with the atlantic city blackjack on prima. It seemed the larger my bet, the more often I lost. Also, anytime the dealer would show a bust card (ie. 6) it would then draw to 20/21. At the conclusion of my play, I decided to go for a playcheck so I could calculate the beats that the dealer gave me and their statistical probabilities. After searching throughout my Pokertime software I realized that hey, there is no playcheck for blackjack! How brilliant is that! I then went to their customer support where I was told that they do not record blackjack hands.

All in all, my advice to the masses is to avoid prima blackjack as I am near certian that it is an unfair game of blackjack.

PS. It would be nice to see an independent review of this software, if any watchdog is up for it.

How many hands did you play?

I'm up ~$1500 overall playing BJ via the prima software. Most of my bets in that session were from $5-$200.

Just bad luck for you if you ask me.

Prima...yes shady software

I had an experience at Purple Lounge poker site (Prima) where I and another guy went all in he wins and yet there was no show down. The hand was not shown in hand history only my hand was shown. After numerous emails on the matter a support person finally writes back saying this guy had a better hand than my two pair, and sorry for the inconvenience the software should of shown the hand. That was all I got. What type of reputable site has mishaps like this? Two all ins, but only one set (the losing set) of cards is ever shown, and the other no show guy wins the pot.

Seems like that's definately a bug. Even though they can now muck a showdown when all-in, it should still show up in your hand history.

There's a prima rep on board (link is in above post). Might want to run this by him.

I know they just recently added the option to muck on a showdown even if you're all in (before, they flipped the cards up as soon as you went all in, just like tournament play), so maybe this hasn't been reported yet.

^ ^

lol no credible evidence prima poker is rigged?
The only evidence possible would be to check the code line by line,
including that nasty subroutine ;)
Anyway it is not rigged in the way many people think.

I have had my series of bad beats in prima, like $20 in 0.25/.50 in like an hour, the flop never hit, i played broadways and see a lot of babies just for someone cassually have played 7-4os and made two pair, lost a lot when i had the ladies and in a 3 way raggedy flop i found my self almost drawing dead to cowboys and pocket rockets, what are the odds of that... anyways....

Bad beats happen, if you play enough bad starting hands eventually you'll make a bad beat to someon, i think, since i dont play that kind of hands...

Pinos

but the not showing allin cards is as far as im aware a players right to see and something suspicious going on if theyre not showing...
In a cash game this is right, you shouldn't see an "on their backs" situation like tournaments.

Many online sites do show - and I much prefer it - but Prima are using the correct behaviour here.

Exactly....I just wish prima would implement a "fold and show" option like UB has; if you're the last to act.
