Turn around...
Full disclosure: I have an interest in this area.

Tonight I talked to chat at a newly launched OC, it was a simple question, request.

I don't normally do this kind of stuff, was more of an investigation. So what's up with this? IMO you should always be able to approve your doc's before signing on with an OC, or downloading their software if you want to, this site says it's only during a withdraw.

I think this is total BS, if a player wants to be pre-approved they should have an option.

You are now chatting with 'XXXXXX'
XXXXXX: Welcome to XXXXXX , this is XXXXXX Can you provide me with your User Name and how may I assist you? Get 333% for SLOTS on your first 3 deposits up to $9,999! Use code: XXXXXX Enjoy playing Black Jack and slots? Get 100% up to $1,000. Use Code: XXXXXXXXXXXX

you: Can I verify my doc's before signing up, if so how?

XXXXXX: no, you need to have an account in order to approve it for withdrawals.

I've added a poll for opinions from players here at CM. Should you have an option to pre-verify, or wait for the withdraw process?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're getting at. The convo seems to contradict the question of members. Should you be able to pre-approve before depositing/withdrawing? Of course. They didn't say you couldn't though. They said you need to open an account first. This seems to make sense to me. Why would the casino want to bother doing a verification process for someone who isn't even a client?

It must be very quick process, because otherwise players will move on to other casinos.

I did in fact say this, I don't want to open an account first. :)

It depends. I don't really want to just sign up to a new casino that I don't know anything about, and immediately send them all my documents.
If it's a casino that has been around for a long time and that other people trust, then I would like to have the choice.

I think NetEnt have a great way of doing it, since you can just upload your files directly on their sites whenever you want. Or maybe not all of them have it that way, but it's a good way of letting us chose for ourself.

Or I would like every casino to do like 32Red and verify you automaticly through the card company, if that's what you use for deposits.

Calm down it's a question, not a debate.

Doesn't look like the poll worked so just a thread.. :)

Who said I wasn't calm? It was a question and a statement. You asked for feedback. Please don't read emotion into a post where there was none ;)

I agree but this was a player request, they refused. Has nothing to do with a quick process for you an OC software operator but rather a pre-verification request from a player.

They said you must register to be verifed, I don't agree maybe others do. :)

Is there any casino that accepted to verify you before you even registered there? I don't see why they would accept that considering that they can't even link your documents to an account.

Why would you even want to give them everything if you don't know anything about them?
Wouldn't that be a little too risky?

I don't want to give any information to this OC, my point is if they were respectable, you wanted to pre-verify you can't. That seems clear but I'm wondering if they were respectable why couldn't you?

Many are reading more into this question than it is.. :)

1. If you know a site is respected should you be able to pre-verify?

2. Do you need to register and download their software and wait for a cash out to be verified?

Of course you would have to register first, but if any casino refused to verify me before an eventual cashout, then I wouldn't deposit.

Great question but should you have too? Thinking outside the box why can't you verify yourself and then join? Good point but if you can't get verified why sign up?

If you dpn't sign up, from their logic, you AREN'T a player

It was a simple question, can I be verified before signing up, which should be an option. Current procedures say you must sign up, download, deposit money and then if your doc's aren't approved in some cases you lose.

Can I be verified before signing up, depositing, downloading, that should be an option IMO.

Great feedback, so everyone thinks you must create an account and wait for a withdraw before you share your doc's?

Interesting feedback and the point of this thread.. :)

No I don't think that's what we were saying.
You just need to be a player, have signed up before you get verified...or you don't even exists in their eyes;)

From memory i think i had to be verified before i could deposit at Go Wild casino  It was one of the first email requests i got after setting up an account.

It isnt quite a full preverification before deciding to download and install but i wouldnt mind if more casinos did it as above.

Ya, I didn't say that either. I think you should at least OPEN an account; I said nothing about waiting for a withdraw, or depositing or such.

Great feedback, thanks..

It appears that most think you must open an account before pre-verification. So if anyone thinks you should have an option to pre-verify before opening an account please chim in! :D

Again this is a learning thread not a debate.
