Verification issues

Hi all,

I’m currently going through a verification process with an online casino and ran into a requirement that doesn’t seem standard.

They are asking me to provide a bank statement (PDF) that shows:

  • my full name
  • my IBAN / account number
  • transaction details
  • AND a visible debit card number (at least partially)
The issue is that my bank statements do not display the debit card number at all — only the account (IBAN), which I understand is normal.

I have already provided:

  • an official bank statement (PDF) with my name, IBAN, and the relevant transactions
  • photos of both sides of my debit card (showing the card number)
  • a screenshot showing the connection between the card and my bank account
  • on the card itself, both the IBAN and the card number are visible, which links them together
Despite this, they are still insisting that the card number must appear on the bank statement itself.

My questions:

  • Is this a normal/valid requirement from casinos?
  • Do any banks actually issue statements that include debit card numbers?
  • Would the combination of bank statement + card photos + proof of linkage normally be sufficient for verification?
I’ve also been previously verified, they just wanted to do a follow up verification because I have won a lot of money

Appreciate any insights or similar experiences.

Thanks!

Did you use the card for deposit? If yes then it's pretty normal.
Bank statement is required for address verification and the transaction details are for proof of deposit.
Are you comfortable telling the casino name?

Yes, I did use the card for deposits, so I understand the need for verification and proof of transaction.

The issue I’m facing is not the verification itself, but the specific requirement they are insisting on.

They are asking for a bank statement that includes the debit card number along with the transaction details. However, my bank (and from what I understand, most EU banks) does not include card numbers on standard bank statements — only the IBAN/account.
So my concern is whether this requirement is actually standard practice, or if it’s unreasonable given how bank documents are typically issued.

Happy to share the casino name — it’s Vox Casino.

I didnt get an anwser before
If you are expecting an answer from the casino then that's not going to happen as we don't have a casino rep. I don't think anyone from CM has played at this casino so we can't tell you how things will go on from here.
We people guided you the best from our experience and there is nothing more we can do.
