Turn around...
Full disclosure: I have an interest in this area.

Tonight I talked to chat at a newly launched OC, it was a simple question, request.

I don't normally do this kind of stuff, was more of an investigation. So what's up with this? IMO you should always be able to approve your doc's before signing on with an OC, or downloading their software if you want to, this site says it's only during a withdraw.

I think this is total BS, if a player wants to be pre-approved they should have an option.

You are now chatting with 'XXXXXX'
XXXXXX: Welcome to XXXXXX , this is XXXXXX Can you provide me with your User Name and how may I assist you? Get 333% for SLOTS on your first 3 deposits up to $9,999! Use code: XXXXXX Enjoy playing Black Jack and slots? Get 100% up to $1,000. Use Code: XXXXXXXXXXXX

you: Can I verify my doc's before signing up, if so how?

XXXXXX: no, you need to have an account in order to approve it for withdrawals.

I've added a poll for opinions from players here at CM. Should you have an option to pre-verify, or wait for the withdraw process?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're getting at. The convo seems to contradict the question of members. Should you be able to pre-approve before depositing/withdrawing? Of course. They didn't say you couldn't though. They said you need to open an account first. This seems to make sense to me. Why would the casino want to bother doing a verification process for someone who isn't even a client?

I did in fact say this, I don't want to open an account first. :)

It depends. I don't really want to just sign up to a new casino that I don't know anything about, and immediately send them all my documents.
If it's a casino that has been around for a long time and that other people trust, then I would like to have the choice.

I think NetEnt have a great way of doing it, since you can just upload your files directly on their sites whenever you want. Or maybe not all of them have it that way, but it's a good way of letting us chose for ourself.

Or I would like every casino to do like 32Red and verify you automaticly through the card company, if that's what you use for deposits.

Calm down it's a question, not a debate.

Doesn't look like the poll worked so just a thread.. :)

Who said I wasn't calm? It was a question and a statement. You asked for feedback. Please don't read emotion into a post where there was none ;)

I agree but this was a player request, they refused. Has nothing to do with a quick process for you an OC software operator but rather a pre-verification request from a player.

They said you must register to be verifed, I don't agree maybe others do. :)

Is there any casino that accepted to verify you before you even registered there? I don't see why they would accept that considering that they can't even link your documents to an account.

Why would you even want to give them everything if you don't know anything about them?
Wouldn't that be a little too risky?

I don't want to give any information to this OC, my point is if they were respectable, you wanted to pre-verify you can't. That seems clear but I'm wondering if they were respectable why couldn't you?

Many are reading more into this question than it is.. :)

1. If you know a site is respected should you be able to pre-verify?

2. Do you need to register and download their software and wait for a cash out to be verified?

Great question but should you have too? Thinking outside the box why can't you verify yourself and then join? Good point but if you can't get verified why sign up?

If you dpn't sign up, from their logic, you AREN'T a player

It was a simple question, can I be verified before signing up, which should be an option. Current procedures say you must sign up, download, deposit money and then if your doc's aren't approved in some cases you lose.

Can I be verified before signing up, depositing, downloading, that should be an option IMO.

Great feedback, so everyone thinks you must create an account and wait for a withdraw before you share your doc's?

Interesting feedback and the point of this thread.. :)

No I don't think that's what we were saying.
You just need to be a player, have signed up before you get verified...or you don't even exists in their eyes;)

From memory i think i had to be verified before i could deposit at Go Wild casino  It was one of the first email requests i got after setting up an account.

It isnt quite a full preverification before deciding to download and install but i wouldnt mind if more casinos did it as above.

Ya, I didn't say that either. I think you should at least OPEN an account; I said nothing about waiting for a withdraw, or depositing or such.

Great feedback, thanks..

It appears that most think you must open an account before pre-verification. So if anyone thinks you should have an option to pre-verify before opening an account please chim in! :D

Again this is a learning thread not a debate.

What I'm interested in is why wouldn't you open an account? Worst case scenario is they close your account if your documents aren't accepted. If they'd ask to deposit or withdraw first I'd understand, but opening an account only takes a few minutes.

Having to verify you without having an account is a PITA for them. Not only they aren't 100% sure that they aren't doing that for nothing, but what are they going to do when you get approved? Write your name on a piece of paper then ask you to join and send them your username so they can add the "approved" stamp to your account?

Hi,

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in here. If any of our players want to provide docs ahead of time I'm all for it. In fact I wish MORE players would ask for or offer this, but sadly they don't.

As for the 'having an account open or not' debate, there is one logical reason why they would want you to create an account first... so they can track your request.

Your docs may pass from one person to another. Support may pass them to a security department or whatever the process may be. Without an account number to connect them to, how will they know who to respond to or make sure everything is done correctly through the system? From a simply logistical approach, the player having an account makes perfect sense. You dont have to even make a deposit... just create the account is all.

Plus... what are they comparing the info to? If you supply docs without an account, and they all seem fine... then you open an account with a different address or details then you're just back at square one, so again logic would dictate the casino has the info for comparison.

Can you go back to the same casino, open an account, not deposit, then ask if they will pre-approve your docs? I'm hoping they would be happy to.

So in conclusion, imo:
Docs verify - open account - deposit - withdraw ... Not possible
open account - deposit - docs verified - withdraw .... Okay
open account - deposit - withdraw - docs verified ... Acceptable
open account - docs verified - deposit - withdraw ... Ideal

Because until about a year ago when I got a passport, I had government-issued photo ID not everyone was happy with, it does not have my address on it. I would pre-verify before depositing. It would never occur to me to try to do it when I'm not a customer of the casino. Maybe ask if you open an account if you can have your documents verified before depositing.

Even if you are pre-verified, be aware that a casino may want more from you upon cashout.

With Nordic Bet, I tried to verify my credit card before I used it, they were not able to do that as I'd been playing with funds deposited via Skrill.

Recently, I tried to get a jump on the verification process at Redbet, but was told docs are not usually requested. Had my payout on the SUB the very next day.

Maybe "offtopic" a bit here
But I noticed Desert Night casino qa accredited here.

So imopened an account and for the life of me I cant get live chat so I sent an email requesting waht was needed for verification in the rare chance I had to withdraw.
Well, screw em I have been waiting for days now and I aint putting my money unless I know I can withydraw.

As a note , when Club World came on line I won a Royal Flush.
I did not verify my docs however I requested my funds twice and was totally ignored btw I had made the wr.

At least at INETBET, yrs ago , I won on the invitation bonus, and was paid immediately after sending in requested documents
Same with Jackpot Capital... So today , the last 2 casinos are the only ones I play at

I dont know why I would want to play anywhere else. I have never had any problems with inetbet or JC. But sometimes one goes on a bad losing streak so wanted to mix it up :-))

Actually right on topic! :)

That's my point, you in fact opened an account but couldn't get verified, so why open an account, download the software?

Because if he doesn't open an account he can't be verified, deposit, play, or withdraw.
I can't really understand what you are after any longer, because you have recieved so many replies and explanations already:)
