They are based on wager. But let's say I deposit $150 and play $1 spins... I know theres a chance I will only get say 200 spins... without a single feature.
That would mean only $200 in wagers.

If I play .20 spins I 'know' I will get plenty of features (and wins), cos of the high number of spins. When I'm done (all lost) I may have played through that deposit 20 times ($3000 wagering).

Thats why I say you will probably get a lot more points by playing small bets... compared to really big ones.
